How to Fix Thread Tension Assembly Errors on Singer Zigzag Sewing Machine | English

Hi , good evening from Nigeria. I just bought this sewing machine Singer 288 fairly used. However, the tension unit detached from the sucket this evening, including the rod that holds all parts in place. How do I replace the rod to enable me assemble the parts?
