@@O_G_HELLBOY Like most I was hoping it was Dark Beast or this was a result of Mister Sinister messing with the cloning process. But as far as the story is going nope. Percy is writing it as this is the real Beast's personality shining true. He made an army of cloned Wolverines to murder people! This is not the Beast I know!
I still read X-Force and Wolverine because there are things I like, but Percy's handling of Beast is not one of them.
It boils down to a big problem with this Krakoan era. If good and evil mutants are banded together, who do they fight? Naturally they fight humans and Sentinel creators sure. Brood? Okay. Other villains like M.O.D.O.K.? Fine. But then when we get to Vampires, old ladies who grow plants, BEAST... AAAAAAAAALRIGHTY THEN....

Why didn't they have Dark Beast secretly capture beast and impersonate him in krakoa?
@@bandoogiemanz It's possible that there's a reason for Beast acting the way he does, but so far the comic has thrown out those assumptions. Wolverine somehow believes this is Beast's true nature. Don't ask me why. Like Wes said Percy is a mystery box writer, and if this is a mystery it's taking way too long to wrap up. I think Beast will be out of Wolverine and X-Force comics for a bit so we'll at least get a break from the whole ordeal.

I wouldn't be surprised if Percy, like Hickman, had checked out on writing in the x office, and that's why his quality dipped. Between the near constant events interrupting the title, and other less talented writers getting a say in the overall direction of the line, it's almost understandable if he did.
Hickman is the reason the Krakoa disaster ever happened.
I like that the moment the resurrection protocols are disabled Sabertooth immediately starts gunning for Wolverine.
That feels very in character for him.
Sabertooth usually targets Wolverine's lovers first so Cyclops better watch out.

Ben Percy's current ghost rider run has been pretty entertaining. There were some hiccups, but nothing too damaging. I do agree with the mystery box writer comment.
you are not too hard on Ben Percy. I read the first 13 issues of Wolverine and that's all i could take. Those stupid text only pages, which count towards the page count!, are so dumb. it's like 3-4 sentences and that's it. That was the last straw, just couldn't take anymore. I'm waiting for the culmination of Greg Capullo's Wolverine tease sketches. maybe it's nothing, but one can hope.

Wolverine/Sabertooth War? That should sound awesome, but our trust issues run too deep at this point. I have a feeling that there will be a cover buy, but I doubt I will invest my time reading it.
Do we as readers need a wolverine vs sabertooth event? The answer is no since most of what made the X-Men is gone or tainted with bad or unintelligent writers...since this was the theme of most of Larry hama's run on wolverine which kept you going back to your local comic shop to pick up wolverine monthly.....even when marvel was doing dumb stuff in the x-line which included wolverine he would say no and not tie his series into it and continue on his path with the character of wolverine.....the excitement would be good if the x-titles were good and not hype of staff dictating this is going to be the bestest ever ever. .
tony stark is now tony frost and cyclops is now captain krakoa and not using his optic blast powers anymore and now this?!
Cyclops is not Captain Krakoa.
He took on the role briefly because he died very publicly and the mutants were keeping resurrection a secret especially after reporter Ben Ulrich started asking questions, so Scott wore a new suit to be able to keep fighting but hide that he was resurrected.
Eventually the truth came out, and he was back as Cyclops.
There is Captain Krakoa working for the bad guys running a false flag attack on America to drum up anti mutant sentiment. My money is on it being the Secret Empire Steve Rogers because he didn't go away when Steve did at the end.
And Peter Parker best friend seems to be Kamala Khan who he revealed his secret ID for reasons, IDK, and she also is a "mutant" now despite it making no sense, why? Don't know. Parker and MJ having that "luck" having MJ being with Paul and Peter being dumped by Felicia Hardy. Edit: I forgot that Frank Castle isn't the "Punisher" any more and apparently was a psycho as a child, and his wife was brought back life just to say she was going to divorce him *before* she was killed.

I hope he gets some kind of crossover with a cool premise like how Wolverine got one with Predator.

I would hash a bet that X-23 shows up as "Wolverine" to beats Sabertooth easily, and Wolverine just gives up the name to her and goes as Logan from now until they need to bring him back to the yellow spandex.

Beast’s heel turn had the potential to be a genuinely poignant, tragic, and powerful tale of how a very good man can turn into a very bad one through a series of events. Heck, HE could have been the “Fallen Friend” instead of Ms. Marvel considering how many non-Mutants knew him and befriended him for so long. Instead, Percy and the X-Office squandered it by playing it for shock value, gimmicks, and cheap thrills; treating it like a mindless popcorn thrill ride. And it signifies a huge issue with previous Wolverine writers: turning sincerely upstanding characters into the lowest of the low just to make Wolverine and the other antiheroes look better in comparison.

Overall I liked Percy, but his Wolverine run really tells you what kind of writer he is. It was mostly side stories that where fun IMO. But some stuff was also just boring or not that good. I really see him as a writer who's really good at his best, but also is pretty bad at his worse and you never really get anything in between. Still better then the Toms, Stephanies and Tini's 😂
I absolutely agree with you about them putting all their personal crusades into comics. We don't need all that crap in there. Its becoming overwhelming.

The Children Of The Vault concept was a good idea that was wasted on just keeping it connected only to the X-Men. They should've also used that idea with Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, and the Avengers, too. So many new characters could've been made. So many crap characters could've been changed for the better. So many stories could've been shown happening inside of that pocket dimension where time moves faster. And it was all just left in the dust. (facepalm) 🤦♂️ smh 😑
From what I read of it, the Sabretooth mini was pretty good .
I totally get the intent of what you’re saying and it is somewhat valid but Levale I believe is actually a professional novelist who probably understands how to write a story. This alone gives him a leg up over 80% of the writers at Marvel.
Percy and Lavalle are also good friends from the novel world so I think the collaborative energy will be good at the very least.

It's hilarious that they make us try to feel sympathetic for the mutants losing Krakoa and being hunted down. It's what they've earned by being fascist tyrants.
They once were the good guys and they had my empathy and sympathy. But now, they are extensions of the writers and their Commie fantasies. They get no mercy from me. The mutants made their choice. I just checked out a 'Fall of X' issue because I saw that the old Clone Saga villain, Judas Traveller was in it. It was terrible. Awful story and subpar art. I had to skip past bits of it. And they made Traveller just a boring leader of some big bad company. This is now 3 90's characters that Orlando has used, and he needs to stop (the other 2 were X-Men 2099 characters).

Won't be any difference in the X office. Breevoort will keep it status quo. It will be like Jordan D. White never left the position.
Percy has continued to give Maverick a bit of shine, so I continue to stick it out. I've really enjoyed the issues that weren't tied into all the Krakoa business. I'm more than happy to get a fresh arc of the Canucklehead in an old fashioned Sabertooth brawl. Hopefully Mav gets a bit of payback for Creed ripping his heart out finally.
I don't really care about Sabertooth anymore as a main threat. Perhaps as a henchman....but not a main threat.
Yea an all out to the death war between them especially after Krakoa makes NO SENSE if anything should be the opposite! They didn't have the Morlocks get revenge on The Marauders in Krakoa even though they POORLY teased it, until recently nobody TRULY went after Sinister who SHOULD'VE been destroyed day 1 why bother with Victor & James? Besides Victor has an Army of Sabretooths so no believable way it'll sell much at all unless Da Runt has an Army also!
If you haven't read it Percy's Rebirth Green Arrow was really good.
The feeling you get when you realize the last remotely interesting mutant Marvel debuted was a guy who barfed up a lunchbox

The Weapon X program has been restarted by the wife of the slain Greydon Creed, (new character) Lenora Roger's.
She is having this new killing squad hunt down and exterminate everyone involved with the old program. The muscle is also a new character Crysis. He is an unstoppable terminatoresque machine.
Sabretooth, Wolverine, Weapon X and Jubilee who saves Logan's life must work together to stop them.
Ngl I am hyped for this story. The build up to this has been great between the two sabretooth minus and Ben's Wolverine run had been decent but maybe with this event it will kick into high gear!
It would be too much to ask for a video talking about the good ideas that were had in that era but that the writers were too bad to take advantage of.
It's hard to try to dissect any good ideas because the HoX/PoX status quo destroys everything the X-Men have been about for 60 years prior.
All of the writers sucked. None of the ideas were good. Nothing good ever came from the Krakoa era.

Been there done that. Never ending war. Hickman is overrated.
My problem with saying that a particular writer’s work just out and out sucks is that we don’t know the extent of the editorial interference involved with any of their work for hire stuff - they could have the coolest ideas but they can only execute what these lame editors and sub-editors tell them to do. That’s who is giving the marching orders these days.
They are all guilty. The editors and the writers. No one is innocent.
Hopefully they make this as dark as the 80's sabretooth/wolverine feud. If not then it's the same fecal matter as the last decade

Too much irreparable damage done to X-men to salvage them now. Nobody can tie the Krakoa continuity train wreck to classic X-men. Nobody can have any affection for the irredeemable fascist plant clones going forward. Stick to the classics and dismiss the post 2015 stories as the nonsensical non-fan fiction it clearly is.
All I can say is they destroyed the X-Men All the way through everyone is burned out on it they didn't do it to the Avengers now did they 😂😂🎉

The Krakoan era is far from over lol If you've actually read The Inferno story from last year and the Powers of X story, they literally list whats going to happen to whom. Who defeats who and they provide timelines. All the way through from events before the recent Gala and after. In fact they go all the through Hickmans vision/Blueprints to lay out who defeats the Phalanx and how they do it. These writers are actually following Hickmans blue prints to the letter ,as we were told by Hickman and Marvel themselves. This is set in stone and Krakoa is here to stay for the long haul and i am glad. I will say however that i hope all the fake overdone diversity, feminist, lbgtq crap is cut out for good. That's what's running everything. Its never too late for a Wolverine/Sabertooth war! Wth are you smokin??? 😅🤦♂️
