    Did I miss the references to Belichick over the last 30 years? You know...the guy that coached the team to 6 Superbowl wins and 9 Superbowl appearances. The greatest coach off all time who transformed a so so franchise to a dynasty like no other. Taylor Swift gets referenced but not Belichick?! This tribute to Robert Kraft along with the Mayo introductory press conference has been designed to deliberately snub Belichick and that is sickening after everything he did for the Patriots.

      @Evertreynold 9 месяцев назад +7

      You are correct, that was a major omission. I suspect that there was a lot of behind the scene friction btw Kraft and Bill regarding the handling of the GOAT.

    Thank you Robert. I would've appreciated it if you did step in and let Tom go out a Patriot, on his terms, regardless of what Bill wanted. I guarantee he would've taken 23mil/year if we spent money on the O-line or skill positions. He only wanted the respect and security of a 2nd year

    • @Matt-cr4vv
      @Matt-cr4vv 8 месяцев назад

      It was never about not wanting saying him enough money. There’s been a recent documentary where Tom finally states it plainly that he wasn’t signing a new contract and he was leaving because he had hit his breaking point in his relationship with Bill. Tom had been getting closer and closer to leaving for years. Kraft mentions himself that shortly before the superbowl against Philly that Tom was just at a really negative point in working with Bill and Bob offered to let him leave the team to go somewhere else if he had a high enough desire to leave.
      It amazes me to see people who think that if Tom had gone to them and firmly stated that he wanted to stay that Bob wouldn’t have done something? That if Tom said he wanted 3 year deal for $30M a year or he’d be leaving to go to another team that Bob isn’t going to be willing to do that for him? Or that he’s going to ask Bill for permission? People need to accept that Tom simply had arrived to the point he was ready to move on somewhere else and he was simply ready to be done remaining in a grinding partnership after he’d already given it 20 years.
      Tom probably could have even done an ultimatum if he really wanted that but Tom is a leader and he isn’t going to take a guys job or hurt the team itself to accommodate himself. Tom recognize Bill to still be a good coach but after such a long time it was just time for him to move along with good terms and know that nothing stops him from being invited again knew he was done paying which is what’s happened.

      @AidanHolland 6 месяцев назад

      Tom never wanted to stay. He wanted to enjoy his last few years and win another ring. The patriots team after the last ring was not capable of winning another ring.

    The greatest player and qb of all time
    The greatest tight end of all time
    The greatest kicker of all time
    The greatest coach of all time
    and the greatest owner of all time
    If you want to go back some more, you could say we also had the greatest guard of all time
    What other freaking team can say this?

    Pretty pathetic and disgusting to not include any mention the head coach of the past 24 years who won 6 of those Super Bowls with you, Bill Belichick. You just can't tell the history of the past 30 years without Belichick. Sure it didn't end perfect and there are hard feelings, but you have to put those aside for a look back like this. I used to think the Patriots were classy, but I guess I was wrong.

    Makes me so very sad and heartbroken seeing this. Not only for this team I've loved for 50 years but this Nation for what they've become. Seeing the unity of those players holding flags and the way we rallied together as a Nation on 9/11. The contrast of those days to now as we have been divided into our factions. Separated by race, religion, party, etc. We focus on what divides us rather than what unites us. Fighting racism with more racism breeds hatred and division. DEI= Divisive evil injustice.

      @@Matthew-f2q Bill’s finished. He’s 71. He should retire whilst he’s still revered. He’s just a selfish curmudgeon that can’t realise when he’s out of touch with the modern game. I think the same of Kraft also for what it’s worth. Let Tom go. Drafted Jones. Stuck with him forever despite him clearly failing. Kraft and Bill are both too old for this game.
      However, for Kraft to not recognise him in this video is an offensive slight to everything he spent decades building for New England.
