A wonderfully drawn diagram! One question, though- My exercise physiology professors have taught me that on average, NADH produces 2.5 ATP and FADH2 produces 1.5 ATP due to the tendency for electrons to be lost during transport. I have heard this elsewhere from other educators on RUclips. Have your professors mentioned anything similar?
Yes, you are absolutely right. If we consider 2.5 and 1.5 in the calculation then the total atp gain in aerobic respiration will be 32atps not 38. Which is more accurate. There are some papers and books which says 38 atps are produced and some says 32 atps. So in this video I'm trying to clarify if it is 38 then how the calculation is done. And that will be another video where I can show if it is 32atps then how the calculation is done. I haven't made that video yet. But you can refer to ruclips.net/video/E_UG3WnsW3o/видео.htmlsi=FNJITqXhGg_ncL04 video for that.
However, the NADH from glycolysis in the cytosol must transported into the mitochondria either by aspartate or glycerate transportation, costing ATP Also, per NADH in the etc, only produce 2.5 ATP, summary, total ATP in aerobic respiration is 30 to 32 per GLC molecule.
Thank you so.....much . When I searched video for ATP production in krebs cycle, I found this as first video; I thought that if this video can make understood me in 2:33 .......but I found me wrong, When I clicked and watched this......I am like.....WOW.😊❤

Brothers and Sisters, God loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus Christ for us to save us from our sins, and he bled and died on a cross for us to redeem us from death, and to gain life everlasting, for those who put their trust in him. And what's more, he has risen, and is willing to call you to repentance (correction) and as his witness, by his grace indeed. "For it is by grace you are saved, through faith". Jesus loves you, God cares for you! Therefore, repent and believe the gospel.

This is the best video thank you 💕💕💕
Very clear Mam
Best explanation 👍.. Thanks you sooo much ❤❤..Helped a lot ✨
2 molecules of ATP are also used when pyruvate converts into acetyl CoA, so this means total ATP are now 36. Am I right?
7 net gain atp in glycolysis
Thanks 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This was so beautifully explanied. Thank u
Thank u this help so much ......plz keep on uploading vedios like this will help student like us

Isme Etc wala nhi ata hai kya
Krebs cycle ka atp etc wala hi hai.
Bina ETC ke NADH and FADH se atp kaise banega
Brilliant
What a teaching madam
Thank you 😊
Thanks mam
V better explanation but 1 nadh gives 2.5 atp not 3
That calculation is different. That will not conclude 38 atps.
Awesome !!!!💥
thanks alot ×10^10000
😊
