Man I am really digging the vibe Cassette Beasts is giving off. It looks like a sort of persona/smt/pokemon hybrid.
I’m so glad I even heard a mention of Micromon, that game was my childhood and I’m sad you can’t play it anymore and nobody really knew about it
Monster Crown, Monster Sanctuary ,and the Siralim games are my favorite monster games on the Switch.
Trails of Sunder is such a beautiful game, atleast from what I've seen the promo and trailers. Visually definitely my favorite of the modern monster tamers. I hope the gameplay is just as good

I'm also looking forward to Moonstone Island. Though I'm not a fan of farming simulators, the monster taming and battle mechanics along with the visuals and general vibe, has caught my attention.
A game like Cassete Beasts could be really interesting if the writing is good, it's just I dont expect much from games that would regard themselves as "monster taming" games.
Why?
I should probably extrapolate a bit, I don't expect MUCH from specifically Cassete Beasts (not ALL monster taming games, I typed that out using voice and it took out the important bits). When looking at how ambitious Cassette Beasts is, I'm reminded of a factor of over ambition that leads to a lack in quality in games (i.e, most open world games). Cassete Beasts looks as though it is not only taking inspiration from Pokemon but Persona games as well, and considering the amount of content the trailer suggests already, it just seems as though they are biting off more than they can chew. Most, if not all monster taming games are absolutely focused on the monster taming aspect of their games, Cassete Beasts just seems to all over the place.
If you like Coromon, there's a low budget series called Pokemon that you may be into!

I just realized an old game Monster Racer on the Ds is kind of like coromon like the game have that shiny thing where all monster I think all they have a shiny form that's stronger than the original.the mons are also nicely animated but also it's a fun game since you race monsters. Some run better on different terrain some have cooler dash abilities.you catch other mons by the power of friendship by shooting hearts during a race lol Evocro is fun they did added alot of forms for one mon like their 5 eevee like mons that change into all like 8 of their elements but you can catch the evolution in the wild.
All of these games look awesome! I hope they all make it on the switch (well for the games that are not on the switch already) lol.

Can't wait to play Coromon on Switch. In the mean time, I've played and finish Nexomon 1 & 2. And now i'm starting Monster crown! Sad that I can't play Evocreo on Switch or PC.
Idk if you know it but maybe check out Moonstone Island? I think it's like stardew valley mixed with monster taming and a card game, looks really pretty but I think it's still somewhat early in development. It doesn't have much to do with coromon but I don't think I've seen you cover the game

Monster Sanctuary is a great mixtuıre of Puzzle Platforming & Monster Collecting/Taming & Turn Base Action RPG & Metroidvania. Great game for it's price and size. I have 170+ hours on it. It has a huge re-play value too thx to RPG elements and different build options. Also with New Game+ option you can take on more challenging re-play scenario too.
And the best thing about MS , Your monsters are not your pokeballed slaves they're your comrades, on the way each of'em has special ability that help you thru Navigate in the Sanctuary. That makes it unique You always use all of 'em.
Also You can customize many things for urself and ur monsters. Truly a well thought game imo.

If Monster Crown didn't take away one of your monsters if you lose a battle I would try it but for me the way it stands there would be waaaay too much frustration with it which just isn't worth it.

A port that very few pple have since I first found it on mobile is kinda shitty over they I would love to play. I would not recommend Pokemon to Coromon fans. This was said in jest, but kind of not really xD
tbh as a coromon fan i didnt really enjoyed nexomon mainly because the gameplay is very lacking and most monster designs feel like it was quantity over quality
I loved Nexomon 2 but I kinda agree with you. They needed to cut some Nexomons. I prefer 200 nice Nexomon than 200 cool + 200 weird/bland ones. Nexomon has great design but others are mediocre. There is very few consistency.
