Hi, Don! There is no brand name printed on the case of this scale, but a decal on the rear reads: Superior Balance, Usb-100 100g x 0.1g. Hope this info helps!

When I weigh nickels with my scale i get 4.96 grams instead of 5 I calibrated it multiple times. Is that a reasonable weight?

Hi, Matt! That discrepancy is normal... The weight tolerances for a United States nickel is .2 grams, more or less. So, any weight from approximately 4.8 to 5.2 grams is normal, and the actual weight of the coin in its current state could be even lower depending on how much wear that nickel has.
