whenever i make a bag, one side is perfectly straight & the other side (usually where i slip stitch & start the new row) always looks diagonal? like i’m increasing.. but i’m not. i always use stitch markers to make sure i’m not missing a stitch. not sure what i’m doing wrong.
I'm having the same issue..can someone let us know what is the issue?
@@kalacombinebyamit i still haven’t gotten an answer. maybe we’re crocheting too tight? but my tension stays the same throughout the whole bag. it’s so confusing 😭
@@stxrbabies I had the same problem. It’s because you have to start the new row in the same chain you did your slip stitch. It worked for me, hope it helps you :)

I always start the new row in the same chain I did the slip stitch, still didn’t work out for me 👎🏼 it always comes out diagonally

Is it ok to use satin ribbon instead ?
Ribbon r so flowy so thin which I don't think is ok to use .some people use a yarn like ribbon but it's a bit thicker than ribbon and more stable and hard so that it can cover everything and nothing can fall out of your bag and the bag will not bend too much. hope it helps❤

Hello! :) you can use one strand but the bag is going to be a lot smaller
Thanks a lot I made a white one with one strand and it was very tiny (small) like you said so I made a blue one with 2 strands long after that and I like the size of it. Thnks❤
