I've been researching this come to the conclusion that picks only show their physical state when observed. They could be in anyone's house at any one time until somebody observes it. Simply answer is you drop a pick and it's state is unknown. Someone on the other side of the globe goes "ah, my pick!" and its with them. Until they free up it's quantum state by looking away, you can't find it.
Well there is a theory that says that there are parallel universes sooo... I guess the picks somehow fall so fast that they somehow create some wormhole or portal and go there. One universe surely got enough of them now lmao.
"If you dropped your pick its gone" Seriously How the hell did i lose a whole 12 pack of yellow picks on a dark green rug. They really are gone forever once you drop them.

Immaculately done Tyler. You tricked the woman into believing she was playing a solo, when in reality she was playing rhythm for you. This lead her to play with feel and emotion... something never seen from a rhythm guitarist. All this led to you in fact being the true soloist.
Keep teaching your wife cause no else is married to you Tyler. She has a Berklee Alumni to learn from and I don't think there's anything better than that. You're perfect for her because you're a great teacher and she is perfect for you cause she's willing to learn.
Tbh if she could be taught difficult popular aongs on guitar by her husband here or even fake it and have him play she could rake in easily as much money as him.
Orest Hopiak - Eddie's notes can be copied, but his 'finger tone' is master level. A lot of youtubers crank up the gain while EVH gets a lot of the clarity and intensity from sheer hand strength.

I like how you managed to figure out the tempo and rhythm she was playing and play along to that, especially at the end of the video you can really see that you’re feeling the rhythm, even though it was off. Great job.
This is a really good idea. The benefit of this is that first of all, you teach somebody something, second, we can see solos and licks from 2 perspectives: One from a pro and one from a starter (for now, I think she will be great in a few months) and third, we can learn them as well and compare our playstyle to both players in the video. By the way, if anyone says anything rude, they clearly have some mental issues. I think your wife plays better than most people that have just started learning guitar. Sorry for a long comment :)
This is fantastic. You have no idea how many times I've done this with my kids. The look on her face when you first started playing rhythm? That's what it's all about.

Nah picking comes to you after a while. It gets better the more you do it eventually her position probably won’t feel comfortable so she’ll move it. And this is a lesson focused on the solo not everything about her technique. She is a beginner after all
