Pakman isn't a journalist. He's a political commentator. He admits there is a difference and he's not the former. Although, admitting fault is still the ethical thing to do.

Honestly, I got the same impression from how you framed your impression of the questioning, as well. I am glad that Howard Stern clarified that, because this election is far too important for people to hear speculations about questions coming from Biden's handlers, instead of the interviewer's.

Actually, making airlines reimburse fares for cancelled flights is really GOOD and it's high time it happened! I am so thrilled that Biden has been doing things like this - there's a whole list of things I never expected him to do, like cancelling student debt and promoting EVs and solar power! I never thought he would be such a great president that works so hard to improve life for ALL Americans!!! I am so glad to admit I was wrong - and I think he's been way better than Obama. I hope to GOD he gets re-elected!
The extension of that story should be that airlines run on over booking every flight, so they have a full flight everytime and make extra money of the people who get bumped and never use there credit ever in the future. The legislation is cutting off their scam.
And as a result if this Biden intervention, prices for airline tickets will increase across the board. Actions have consequences- and Biden's actions tend to have terrible consequences.

He often is morally superior to those he is interviewing, but does he have to act so morally superior? He seems like the kind of guy who would stare at you and tap their watch while waiting for you to finish with a piece of gym equipment.
To be honest David, a LOT of people would benefit from knowing about the airline rule changes. It’s actually a fairly big deal :)

I remember seeing Pakman a long time ago but it didn't stick with me. Not sure why. Regardless, been watching this DPS channel for a couple months now and definitely super-impressed by his mature demeanor, articulation, knowledge and sincerity.

As a long-time Stern listener, i know he has a terminal with topics and questions to ask or funny things to say. It's usually Fred or Bengy or Richard Christy.
That's how easy a conversation can turn into an argument, so that's cool that you're talking about it and settle in it

I think Pakman did not understand that Stern would not do that. He asks what he wants to ask. He is in a very different class of interviewers. President Biden knows that Stern supports him and the interview would be fair too.

This is one of the reasons I like David Pakman. Too many people would try to rewrite history to save themselves from embarrassment. David gives the mea culpa before explaining what he meant. Clarifying, not accusing. Too many people give the conditional non-apology. The, "I'm sorry if people were offended," fake apology. The record should be corrected, not rebalanced to make one seem better than they really are.
