People often forget why the spear is the most effective weapon throughout history you can train and be a masterwith a strange exotic weapon and everything but at the end of the day a rookie with a spear will still be a major threat

Completely agree! It's an easy weapon to pick up and use but it takes a little while to use it well, when you've got it it's deadly!

@@TheWelshRaider the biggest learning curve imo to me is how LITTLE you need to really do with it its not a weapon you use for style or flare points but again its beauty comes down to its pure effectiveness

People also don't realize how fast this weapon is. There are times you can see the thrust coming but not able to react at all. Not only do you out reach other weapons you also out speed them.

I completely suck at spear on virtual reality. It's harder than it looks to use.
