    Ugh. I miss growing Asiatic hybrid lilies. Realistically, I love vicariously through these videos because there are so many things I can't grow because I'm limited to containers on my balcony.

      Thank you for your great comments. The rhodos are fab in bloom. I was just noticing how those lilies are so much taller this year. I guess they needed the first year to find their feet. You can expect them to be featured in a garden tour, hopefully soon.

    I've been planting my fall bulb varieties and as I cover them over I put a sprinkle of vermiculite around in a loop, to show where I just planted. This lasts awhile so if I come back to plant more I can see where I planted.

      Sounds like a good idea. If you mark them then you're less likely to disturb them.

      Hello Valia. I just discovered your channel and subbed. Love the illustrations. The plan for dealing with the lily beetle this year is a daily patrol and catching of them. I already found a few this year!

    I've planted Turks cap lilies last fall. Is it safe to plant them with oriental and asiatic lilies in the same bed?I've heard they carry virus.

    • @GardeningatDouentza
      @GardeningatDouentza  3 года назад +1

      Lilies can carry viruses that will infect tulips too and vice versa. I never heard of the Turk's cap ones being more virus prone than others.
