It's now updated to G-BOMBS: Greens, Beans, Onions, Mushrooms, Berries, Seeds. >>> According to Dr. Fuhrman on PBS, Greens (some of the best are; bok choy, broccoli, collards, kale, cabbage, brussel sprouts), Beans (including peas, lentils, all legumes), Onions (I believe this includes all types of onions as well as garlic but I have not gotten an answer on this yet), Mushrooms, Berries, and Seeds (including nuts; best are flax, chia, hemp, walnuts, sesame).

"Kale is the new beef". I'm not sure I agree with that. Beef has never been a health food and kale is one of the healthiest foods around.
Think about that statement in the context of protein. People generally associate beef with high protein intake; but kale is a great source of high plant protein.
