Your enthusiasm is contagious! I LOVE your videos! Thanks for sharing all these wonderful things and also your previous videos. Your influence has improved our home schooling so much.
I totally agree with you, Nobel Homestead! Hana is an excellent addition to the homeschooling community and to the homeschooling RUclips community, as well.
It's always such a breath of fresh air to watch your channel! I love the haul- there is just so much here. And the main thing is you're excited about using the materials.
Thank you! Yeah, our educational funding is a huge perk of the charter school system in California. I hope you found some fun items to add to your homeschooling :)
Thank you so much for all your hard work to show us how your homeschooling operates. You have inspired me so much. I am still on the fence on which curriculum we will use however all the info you have provided has helped so much. thank you again
You're very welcome Sabrina! Happy to help where possible. I hope you enjoy which ever curriculum you choose and remember that you can tweak it to suit your needs :) -Hana
Assalaamualaykum~ Thank you for taking the time to go through your materials/supplies. It's so helpful. I love that you put so much emphasis on the tangibles, on the activities. Or rather, you make sure that you have hands-on materials for your lessons. Which is definitely how we operate best in our homeschool - with activities. One of the things I love about your haul is that it really helps me see how being true to myself and my kids' interests will in the long run make our homeschool journey that much more successful because if you're all engaged, then learning can actually happen. For instance, I love learning about your peg people supplies and your finger puppet supplies...even though I don't envision us going that route in our house for the time being (though the fairy house kit had me tempted)...because it's validating to see another homeschool mom pursue interests that are right for her family.
Salam Regina! It's my pleasure to share this eclectic haul. It might be otherwise missed, but the importance of play, in the younger years especially, is so important and this haul validates that in a big way. Having the Waldorf curriculum to back me on this is so helpful. If homeschooling is something I love as well as the kids, it will keep us motivated for the long haul. I think that's what you're saying, and I'm echoing :) I'd love to know what materials you're getting for your kids. -Hana
Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying :) We have board games, lots of board games, art and craft supplies, and popsicle sticks...lots of popsicle sticks. Oh, and our trusty glue gun. My son has constructed an entire popsicle stick village out of sticks, bottle tops, and other found items. It's taking over the playroom, but it's so magical when he completely gets lost in his imaginary play. The village, also, is not for people, it's for his toy cars, who all have their own homes (and garages).
Hana, You hit this curriculum haul out of the park, yet again! There wasn't a single item that I wouldn't like to have. I love it all! I wanted to pause the video and make comments on so many of your choices. You've added some books, that I've added to our own curriculum, as well. Take care and happy homeschooling!
Tonya Meadows thank you Tonya! This was pretty exciting. I think we spent most of our funding for second semester! I'm not sure if you know this, but none of the non-consumable material belongs to us. It all gets returned when we withdraw from the school. That's okay though because we still get the joy buying and using :)
Yes. I had asked you about that and we commented back and forth. You explained how the charter school works regarding the sharing of the curriculum. But, it's really cool you get to go on the shopping sprees, anyway! I bet you tell yourself and get excited over how you know the homeschool families who will receive those items in the future will be so happy when you gift them back. In my mind, all the stuff I'm buying and collecting, I'll be passing to my grandkids. I'm hoping to be saving my grown kids a bunch of money, and to save them a lot of worry and stress to already have this stuff purchased for when they start homeschooling, so they only have to worry about the teaching part. They can always concentrate on buying things they are really interested in, and I'll have already provided the basics for them. I literally had nothing when I started out, but some used items that my older kids had brought home from school and some basic pre-K poster items that I had leftover from my daycare teaching days. Your excitement is contagious when you're opening your goodies in your hauls. I live vicariously through you, I hope you know. tehe
You know I have thought about what it's going to be like to give all the supplies back, and I really want to buy a bunch of legal sized boxes and return all my material in units with lesson plans!!! Hehe...probably won't happen, but I imagine that would be so helpful to someone who doesn't want to assemble their own unit. I think it's great you're helping out your kids and grandkids that way. I'm sure they'll be relieved because supplies add up! So guess what? I'm asking companies with whom I got materials from to donate products or gift cards for a giveaway. So far the responses are favorable, so be on the lookout for a week of giveaways at the end of this month or early next :)
OOOOOOOhhhh! I love give-a-ways!...and FREE stuff! Watch this be the very first thing I mark on my brand new desk top calendar for Jan 2017! I'm going to get a good chuckle out of the fact I "met" you this past year and the first entry onto my new year's calendar will be to watch out for your posts of free curriculum! It's official. You and I have joined the "homeschool curriculum junkie gang". LOL Have a great week, Hana!
Thank you! A Child's Dream is one of my favorite vendors and Nature Watch is new to us and already I'm well impressed with their products. I'll be sharing the projects we do this spring with our nature units using the kits from Nature Watch. I'm really excited to get to them. -Hana
Man. You are like the curriculum and goodies guru! Can't decide if I enjoyed the stuff or your excitement more! And I want to go to that Mermaid Island. So cool. Too bad it's not a real place! I am gonna check out a lot of these things. Thanks for sharing!!!
Homeschooling on a Wing and a Prayer Blog I realize there's no "real" curriculum in there, but as you know by now these are the tools we use to learn in our homeschool ;) I buy the stuff that excites the children and me. It's more like a toy, craft and book haul than a curriculum haul!! -Hana
well since we do literature based studies, like you, it kinda is "curriculum" lol but totally get your point. Lots of fun activities and that book with the wool critters looks very interesting!
I just subscribed to your channel! I do a lot of reading comprehension and math journals for my little girl - so fun! We are now reading some of the Junie B. Books and having a blast! I love to watch homeschooling posts and will definitely be back to support your channel. Hope you can stop by sometimes . I will be posting next week.
We should totally get together and knit. I just finished hat #6 - 8 more days to complete 4 more hats and a scarf. I am starting to lose my confidence. After the new year - let's plan it.
How long does it take you to knit a hat? I'm thinking by the time I'm done with my socks it'll be summer! lol! Oh yes, let's see if we can meet in the new year.
Great review of so many awesome resources, you are going to have so much fun. Thank you for sharing, it is giving me lots of ideas. Those kits look so fun, and the wool and yarn, my goodness! I knitted once upon a time and my 7 y/o daughter is interested in learning how to knit and crochet. Wish me luck!
Let's wish each other luck with knitting and crocheting! I'm really impressed with the Nature Watch kits. We haven't used them yet, of course, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be highly recommending them! Plus they were quite affordable as a class room set if a few families went in on the kits together. We have so many extra kits, we'll be sharing amongst other homeschoolers, and doing multiples ourself. And I was right...my kids asked to try the honey sticks 2 minutes after I opened that kit!! -Hana
Hana I want all these things ! So love you're creativity and passion for HS! .. going to check out Nature Watch right now 😊... oh and I love piecable kingdom!
Yes! That's a beautiful book. We've been out of town for a bit and just returned, and I keep looking at all the books but don't feel like putting them away just yet!! I need a spot for new material, so it can be enjoyed presently. That's one book that's going to get looked at often :) -Hana
I know this is an old video, but I just subscribed to your channel! Thanks for posting - I never knew about Nature Watch and I definitely want to add that Forest In A Box to our curriculum this year!
i love your channel! Such an inspiration for unit study approach! I've just ordered a bunch of fun things through Rainbow Resource with charter school funds as well. So excited to add to our base curriculum :)
It's been amazing so far. Have are making our way through these materials and enjoying and learning every minute. Thank you for taking the time to comment :) -Hana
Checked out nature watch because I've never heard of that site. They've got some pretty neat stuff! I definitely see a few things I want to order around spring. Thanks for sharing!
WOW 1. I wanna go back to school and be homeschooled by you. 2. what does you school day look like- how do you fit in all that amazingness? 3. How do you store EVERYTHING? I feel I would be overwhelmed. 4. plz see #1 =)
Hattie, welcome to my channel! Do you have kids? If you do and you decide to homeschool, you can do all this. I love homeschooling; a look at our materials can tell you why! We have a homeschool room that fits all this amazingness :) And yes, it's totally overwhelming when our supplies come in. I usually place large orders in August and January. We are with a homeschooling charter school which provides educational funding so we can buy these items. The school requires that we return non-consumable items when we withdraw from the school.
Oh my gosh! What a fantastic idea! Do you mix the cards up? I don't have trivial pursuit. I wonder what other games I could do that to. Thanks for sharing this tip Danielle!! I'm sharing it the next time we show our Professor Noggins game in a unit study video. -Hana
Pepper and Pine I actually aligned subjects with the different colors in the game. So human body would be orange, presidents blue, ect. You have to get all the colors to win do that made you have to answer all subjects.
Yes, the "Who Is" books are fabulous! We love them for their simplicity. We learn more from those books than almost any other biography. The Professor Noggins card games are a treasure as well. -Hana
Yes, it was expensive and yes so many awesome projects we've already done with the supplies so far. We are with a charter school and we used educational funding to purchase these materials. When we are through using them, we return them to the school. The perk is we get to choose the materials we want. The downside is we don't own any of them. -Hana
Pepper and Pine Hello, Hana! Really enjoyed your videos! What kind of charter school are you guys use? We are in California as well. With our school, we don't have to return everything as I understood. The only thing is hardcover books or we can pay and keep them if we want. Thank you!
The rules with charter schools vary quite a bit and though I expect some flexibility when we finally withdraw from the school, currently their policy is to have all non-consumables returned. We've already been with the school for 8 years and expect to be with them for another 8, so in that time I'm sure there will be plenty they won't want back. Then again, by that time, there will be plenty I'm ready to get rid of anyway. The things I might end up buying are things that we have sentimental attachment to like certain books or games. Everything the kids have made using the materials we got, they get to keep :)
Ok...grab a cup of coffee or tea or hot chocolate, because I just started watching this video and can see I'm going to be leaving several comments! LOL I LOVE that drum! I want one! (I say in a whining voice.) FYI...I just did a curriculum haul video too. I'm waiting for it to upload. I just did an overview or sneak peak for right now. I'm going to wait to do individual unit study videos before I show each item I've purchased over the last few months. I've been putting together a good collection of materials too. Great minds think alike! Now, back to watching your video, while I'm waiting on this NyQuil to kick in so I can go to bed.
Tonya Meadows awe are you sick? Get better soon. I'll look for you haul videos. I get so many ideas seeing what others buy and how they use it. I hope the same happens with the material I find :)
I haven't been able to stop thinking about your idea of using the post-it notes attached to the non-fiction books you use in your unit studies during your planning sessions. I just LOVE that idea! I seriously think about it during my "quiet times" (like washing the dishes, etc.) and tell myself I need to try that. I've been making sure we read and do the vocab from the textbooks, but I've only been offering the presence of the other non-fiction / reference books as a "just in case" my daughter is interested in researching further. Sometimes she does, sometimes not. As she's getting older, she's starting to become more and more drawn into electronics. I really need to be more intentional in adding in the "extras" that I buy, instead of just leaving it up to her. That's why I like the way you've organized your unit studies with intention in the planning. :)
Thank you Tonya! I've noticed that my children and I learn far more from a historical fiction than any of the other books I add to a unit. The content enclosed in a story is a fabulous way to deliver information. It's at the core of Waldorf education, but I rarely do it because it requires quite a bit of prep and it's usually easier to read books than to retell them as a story. Though my children were avid readers in the middle school years, it took a sharp drop off in high school. The only reason my 14 year old still reads fiction is because I assign them or occasionally he gets into a good series from the library, but my 18 year old hasn't read leisurely in years. So again a long comment to say, yes! Add historical fiction to your units. You'll both be thankful :)
Such an awesome haul! You have mentioned having a museum pass and getting in free to the other museums with it. I looked that up and website said you can only use the passport deal with museums greater than 90 miles from your museum of membership. Have you seen them be very strict about that or have you been able to use this museum deal within your 90 mile radius as well?
They've gotten stricter over the years. Some museums we used to frequent underwent renovations and when they reopened they weren't members anymore. Some local museums don't honor the pass anymore either. My children have gotten older and we don't use our membership as much as we used to. It's perfect for when we go on road trips because it's a great way to explore the museums in another area. -Hana
Hmm the museum pass is a great idea. Wish it worked for all local museums though. Thanks for posting about the membership on your page. Great idea for field trip options:)
Alternatives to memberships are community free days and library passes. They don't offer library passes where I live, but I know in the Bay Area (Northern California) and in Arizona, you can go to the library and check out two passes to local qualifying museums. Some other places offer one day free each month. Of course there are group and educational rates. Locally we can go to Sea World, the Aquarium of Long Beach and Legoland for about $6-$8 a person instead of up to $75 a person during special educational rates. It takes a little digging around, but you can probably find at least some discounts for most places.
Pepper and Pine I will definitely check out the library pass as I live in northern California :) I am new to homeschooling this yr so still looking into fun trips.
I just discovered your channel and love it! Thank you so much for all of the inspiration! Have you done or would you do a video on how you organize your homeschool day with such broad ages you are teaching?
Hi Natalie! Thank you! There have been so many changes this year in regards to teaching multiple ages. I have a KG, 5th grader and 9th grader, and it really hasn't worked doing lessons that meet all their needs at one time. What's worked better is for my 9th grader to have almost all independent work, while I do a unit study approach with my 5th grader. My KG plays and works independently on her 'work' while listening to the read alouds. We break from our normal schedule occasionally to do Kindergarten Week: a week or two or more devoted to just KG activities. My 5th grader joins in :) ruclips.net/video/d7-OdYiEAms/видео.html -Hana
Hana, did you all ever successfully grow one of the trees from the Forests Forever Nature watch kit? All of ours died. Some never grew at all, the few that were doing well, died as soon as June hit. We are in the Orlando FL. area. I had really hoped the trees would grow. They are supposed to be Italian Stone Pine trees. I had plans to plant two in our yard, and donate the rest. I did contact Nature Watch, they are going to send a new set of the seeds for us to store in the fridge and then begin the process in the Fall. I will then report back to them to tell them how it goes, We are hoping that if they are established enough before Summer 2022, they they will survive! Hopefully we can successfully plant two and donate the rest.
Angie Ellaboudy awe thanks Angie! I'm loving Nature Watch, and I'm thrilled you got to order some material. The classroom sets are a great value. If you didn't get the ones I got, I'll save a few for you :)
Hi! Are you with Heartland Charter? You mentioned charter funding in a comment. We are with Heartland in SLO County and I very much enjoy the hauls with our funding🙌🏻
I love you're videos! we are a first year homeschool and Inspire family in California. You're videos are like a go to for me but how do not get overwhelmed? I'm so scarred I'm not doing enough or they are not learning enough.
Oh Mandi, I think that is a worry of many people. How old are your children? I wasn't able to teach everything to my kids and there definitely holes in their education, but they have the building blocks and the foundation. One of my kids is in college now and it's fine because he has the ability and desire to learn, which means he can easily fill in those gaps which are information based and not skill based. I look at homeschool as a means to teach the basics, teach them well and foster a love of learning along the way. -Hana
Haha, that's okay, it's likely all our children have holes in their education, even if they went to the local public school. My goal is to foster a love of learning, create beautiful childhood memories, and focus on proficiency in reading, writing and math. Easy peasy!!
yes! this is what I was talking to my husband about maybe the first year needs to just be teaching them that learning isn't just a program... if you get what I'm saying? Then we can get to things like "what your supposed to know."
I am 11 and I live with my nan and she doesn't know all the upto date learning prosseses and what u need and stuff ur videos are amazing they show different Aged prouducts
Hi Hope, I'm glad you enjoyed watching this haul. Do you homeschool? I gather you live in the UK. The rules for home education are different than the ones here, but many families home educate successfully. -Hana
Neither! None of it technically belongs to us. We are with a charter school that allocated educational funding for each family. We buy from vendors that are approved by the school and use the material for as long as we like or until we withdraw from the school. If material is used or consumed, it's not returned, but everything else is. So we get the fun of buying the material without the worry of long term storage or resell. Win win for us! Well, except for things we grow attached to. -Hana
Hi! Your videos are so good . I want to know what do/ did you do with your 3 and half year old? I want to start Montessori/ Waldorf style in daily life of my kids but I can’t figure out how to start? If you have time please give some suggestions
Forgive me if you've answered this- I love your curriculum hauls, but I'm curious after the year/semester/unit is over what do you do with it all? DO you tend to keep all of it and it just goes on your shelves? Do you donate? resell?? The hauls are fantastic but they are so big I wonder where the stuff goes. I can't picture getting rid of a game just because the unit is over but if you keep everything your house would be full of stuff (like mine is lol)
Oh yeah, she's called pumpkin, sweetheart and many more pet names :) I asked my kids to wait before going through all the boxes till I recorded the video, and it was really hard for them to wait! So as I opened everything, I handed it to my kids to look at or play with. They were really excited. -Hana
Thank you Lupe! Yes, I'll have some nature units coming up for spring, but I think I'll call them Spring Units or Spring Curriculum based on your comment. We're really excited to dive into those units, but currently we're still working through our history units. -Hana
khadijah e your comment is older but in case you still need ideas, i like to buy used, buy with a friend and only buy books that will takr a long time to read - the rest would be from the library
Do you order the silks through your charter and is that something you have to return at the end of the year or can you use it under a consumable product? Thank you
Welcome to homeschooling!! Well, not quite yet. hehe ;) Here's what I would do: start building a collection of open-ended toys for creative open-ended imaginative play. Do your best to get good quality non-toxic toys, things made from wood or fabric. Find some unstructured playgrounds for your baby to explore as she gets older. Get a book on storytelling and learn the art of storytelling. It will be one of your best parenting/homeschooling tools. Learn about some educational philosophies. I personally like Waldorf, Charlotte Mason and Thomas Jefferson Education. Lastly, start forming your community. If your friends who have kids your kids' ages end up sending their children to school, you'll end up feeling left out, or you may end up comparing your child to their children (still will happen around homeschoolers as well). You'll want to have a community, so your child has friends (good for you, too). Socialization is a valid concern when homeschooling, and being ready with your community will not only provide support for you but friends for you and your kids. -Hana
Pepper and Pine I found some. thankfully I have the tool on chrome that links Amazon to your library and shows if the library has any books you are looking at!
BismillahirRahmanirRahim Selam Aleykum I wanted to say thank you for showing muslim and waldorf homeschooling. thank you abla mashAllah MashAllah. p.s. belated Maulid Mubarek and cuma mubarek abla
LOVE your hauls & demos!!! I just ordered several of the games you mentioned and I'm ordering several of the "Who Was...?" biographies from Libraryanded.com
In general we use about $2K per child per year, but we don't pay out of pocket for that. That's the funding we receive from our charter school to use on homeschool material and classes.
Great share💓 just posted Montessori I Spy language activity and tutorial for parents, teachers and caretakes that you may be interested in. Have a great day!
Hana! As of today, January 09, 2017 you have 3,150 views on this curriculum haul! Wow, Girl! That's great! Is this the correct website for Nature Watch you refer to? www.nature-watch.com/
Yep! That's the one! You might find this interesting, but after you told me the views, I looked it up and only a third of the views came from subscribers! It's exciting anyway :) -Hana
I don't know that much about the statistics side of RUclips. I think it's great that your videos are educating others even outside your immediate network of subscribers, all about the ins and outs of homeschooling and education in general.
I disagree completely. But also it's good to know that the goal of education isn't just producing factory workers, but rather to raise compassionate, innovative and creative individuals who are capable of handling the problems of the future. I'm sorry you don't see it that way, but at least you left a comment saying so rather than just leaving a thumbs down. So at least I can tell you are not shy to say what you think, however tactless it may be.
Stem is the future, you have very nice things, they just have absolutely nothing to do with schooling. I see many homeschooling parents who run an afterschool fun activity club, rather then school. The goal of education is to make sure that they can pay their rent and food and utilities without needing to steal it from relatives or strangers. Compassion creativity and especially innovation would fly right out of the mind, when the basics are not covered. The goal is to make sure they can pay their own way for their expenses. I did not put thumbs down. it was a nice presentation. With this kind of schooling however, you will be very very lucky if they get to the factory. All the factories are in China and Mexico now.Where have you seen "candle making workers hired " ad?
Having graduated one student from homeschool with a second on the way I can assure you they have viable careers ahead of them. My 19-year-old has two quarters left of university. Which puts him graduating two years ahead of his peers. His summer internship is paying more than we could hope for and he is following his computer science degree with a PhD in AI. One of the most valuable take aways he says about his homeschool was how relaxed it was. He was able to explore his interests in a non-competitive way. Fostering an ability to use your imagine when a child is young is directly related to creative and critical thinking skills in adulthood. Even Einstein, said that if you want smart children, read them fairy tales, and if you want really smart children, read them more fairy tales. I don't disagree with doing STEM and STEAM activities; those are fine activities and pursuits. But, for you to basically say that the materials we're using in our homeschool have no educational value is ignorant. If you think candle making is to teach them how to be factory workers in a candle factory, you're missing the point of the activity.
Your enthusiasm is contagious! I LOVE your videos! Thanks for sharing all these wonderful things and also your previous videos. Your influence has improved our home schooling so much.
Awe Vicki!! Your compliment is off the charts sweet and thoughtful
I totally agree with you, Nobel Homestead! Hana is an excellent addition to the homeschooling community and to the homeschooling RUclips community, as well.
Tonya Meadows very generous of you to say! :)
It's always such a breath of fresh air to watch your channel! I love the haul- there is just so much here. And the main thing is you're excited about using the materials.
Thank you Demetria! Yeah, we are all excited about the material and have already started using many of the things.

Um.. this is amazing! Love all the Items you showed! Wish we had the budget to get so many resources. Definitely making a wish list.
Thank you! Yeah, our educational funding is a huge perk of the charter school system in California. I hope you found some fun items to add to your homeschooling :)
Thank you so much for all your hard work to show us how your homeschooling operates. You have inspired me so much.

You have some really great things here!
I am so grateful that you share these videos! I never knew these places existed and I can't wait to check out their websites!!!

What an amazing haul and such great ideas!! Thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you! We are really enjoying our supplies :)

This is amazing!! I am only in my second year of homeschooling but I have never heard of Nature Watch or A Child's Dream. Thank you!!!.
Homeschooling on a Wing and a Prayer Blog
I realize there's no "real" curriculum in there, but as you know by now these are the tools we use to learn in our homeschool ;)
I buy the stuff that excites the children and me. It's more like a toy, craft and book haul than a curriculum haul!!
-Hana
well since we do literature based studies, like you, it kinda is "curriculum" lol but totally get your point. Lots of fun activities and that book with the wool critters looks very interesting!
So much great stuff! Thank you for sharing the Nature-Watch stuff. I am going to be ordering some for our spring units!
Barefoot Izzy good choice!! I don't think you'll be disappointed.
-Hana
I just subscribed to your channel! I do a lot of reading comprehension and math journals for my little girl - so fun! We are now reading some of the Junie B. Books and having a blast! I love to watch homeschooling posts and will definitely be back to support your channel. Hope you can stop by sometimes . I will be posting next week.
Ok can I come to your house and you can adopt me? 😂😂😂😂 seriously amazing stuff!!!!
Miki Thompson Yes!! Do you even need to ask! Open door lady. And bring your knitting, so you can help me ;)
-Hana
We should totally get together and knit. I just finished hat #6 - 8 more days to complete 4 more hats and a scarf. I am starting to lose my confidence. After the new year - let's plan it.
How long does it take you to knit a hat? I'm thinking by the time I'm done with my socks it'll be summer! lol! Oh yes, let's see if we can meet in the new year.
Miki Thompson me too lol
-Hana
This is amazing so many fun supplies and books!
I'm especially looking forward to using the kits from Nature Watch. It's going to be a lot of fun!
-Hana
Hana I want all these things ! So love you're creativity and passion for HS! .. going to check out Nature Watch right now 😊... oh and I love piecable kingdom!
the prairie that nature built was beautiful. im buying that. lol
Yes! That's a beautiful book. We've been out of town for a bit and just returned, and I keep looking at all the books but don't feel like putting them away just yet!! I need a spot for new material, so it can be enjoyed presently. That's one book that's going to get looked at often :)
-Hana
I know this is an old video, but I just subscribed to your channel! Thanks for posting - I never knew about Nature Watch and I definitely want to add that Forest In A Box to our curriculum this year!
Thanks for this video! I love the nature watch items!
Oh nice, do you have their products? We really enjoyed them so much this year, we're ordering again.
Love all you items! Gave me lots of inspiration!
wow!!! just finished so fun and amazing haul!
i love your channel! Such an inspiration for unit study approach! I've just ordered a bunch of fun things through Rainbow Resource with charter school funds as well. So excited to add to our base curriculum :)
This is so amazing!!!! Thank you so much for making this vid!
Hi Melody! You're so welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
-Hana
it all looks amazing! thanks for sharing!!
It's been amazing so far. Have are making our way through these materials and enjoying and learning every minute. Thank you for taking the time to comment :)
-Hana
Checked out nature watch because I've never heard of that site. They've got some pretty neat stuff! I definitely see a few things I want to order around spring. Thanks for sharing!
Oh yes! I hope you do. Their material is really fantastic, and I can't wait to dive into those units.
-Hana
Uhoh, this video is causing jealousy and an increase on my wish list...and I'm only 3 minutes in. The Naturalist book, the tree blocks, so fabulous!
The school requires that we return non-consumable items when we withdraw from the school.
we swapped out our trivial pursuit cards with professor noggin's cards! It made the game so much fun and a great learning tool.
I have a link to what we did. daniellehuddlestonphotography.com/not-so-trivial-pursuit/
I REALLY ADMIRE YOUR VIDEOS!
Those professor noggins card games look really neat!
I really like those who was, who is books too my daughter likes them! We have Jane Goodall and Beatrix potter would like to get more!
Yes, the "Who Is" books are fabulous! We love them for their simplicity. We learn more from those books than almost any other biography. The Professor Noggins card games are a treasure as well.
-Hana
Nature watch has some awesome stuff!
Yes!
Assalaamualaykum.. really loved this video 👍would love to see more homeschooling videos ....thanks for sharing .
Jazak Allah Khair, Sanjana!
Wow so many awesome items and projects! I have lots of new things to look up. I imagine it was all very expensive though!
Omg so in love with these :)
My 5th grader joins in :)

Love you
Hana, did you all ever successfully grow one of the trees from the Forests Forever Nature watch kit? All of ours died. Some never grew at all, the few that were doing well, died as soon as June hit. We are in the Orlando FL. area. I had really hoped the trees would grow. They are supposed to be Italian Stone Pine trees. I had plans to plant two in our yard, and donate the rest. I did contact Nature Watch, they are going to send a new set of the seeds for us to store in the fridge and then begin the process in the Fall. I will then report back to them to tell them how it goes, We are hoping that if they are established enough before Summer 2022, they they will survive! Hopefully we can successfully plant two and donate the rest.
as-salamu `alaykum! Just did a Nature Watch order! :) Never knew about the website, Jazaki Allahu khayran for the share!
Angie Ellaboudy awe thanks Angie! I'm loving Nature Watch, and I'm thrilled you got to order some material. The classroom sets are a great value. If you didn't get the ones I got, I'll save a few for you :)
Pepper and Pine that would be awesome!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Meet the Planets looks like it would be good for preschoolers. My daughter loves things with faces :)
I'm glad to hear because I was thinking my kids might not enjoy it as much as I thought, so now I think there's hope :)
-Hana
You're awesome Hana!!!
You're awesome Linda!!
-Hana
my 3 girls are 12, 10 & 3! That makes me feel better that you to have holes lol sorry.
Is that yarn?? Curriculum and yarn!? My 2 favorite things lol
-Hana
This is so wonderful - I love your homeschool style! May I ask what ages your buying these for? Many thanks!
Thank you! At the time I think my children were 5, 10 and 14.
I would love to have all of this! Even 1/5th of it!! Were you able to buy things on a discount or did you pay a TON of money for everything?
-Hana
Oh wow that's so awesome!!!
Hi, I am from gettysburg pa. ❤️ we homeschool as well. And visit the battle filed several times a year! It’s beautiful have you been?
Hi Abby! What a great field trip. Nope, we haven't been, but I would love to take an East Coast road trip.
Did you do a video showing your favorite nature books?
I did not, but maybe after this current unit I can :)
Alicia Simon hehe we keep it all. It all gets stored in our homeschool room which gets reorganized occasionally to make room for new items.
So lovely. How tall and how wide is a drum? We looking to order one of them.
Thank you.
The drum is about 8 inches tall and about 4 inches around the top. The base is smaller.
Pepper and Pine thank you.
WOW
I want to have it all. I had to remind myself envy is haram :D
P.S. Are you calling your daughter pumpkin? :)
Oh yeah, she's called pumpkin, sweetheart and many more pet names :)
I asked my kids to wait before going through all the boxes till I recorded the video, and it was really hard for them to wait! So as I opened everything, I handed it to my kids to look at or play with. They were really excited.
-Hana
Hello I love your Videos! Can you please make a spring curriculum video I'm sure you have awesome things planned. Thank you, you are very inspiring!
Thank you Lupe! Yes, I'll have some nature units coming up for spring, but I think I'll call them Spring Units or Spring Curriculum based on your comment. We're really excited to dive into those units, but currently we're still working through our history units.
-Hana
I love this! as a new mom starting out, how would you recommend affordability for these items?
Salam Khadijah! I use charter school funds for all these supplies. But I think I should do a top 10 supplies video.
-Hana
khadijah e your comment is older but in case you still need ideas, i like to buy used, buy with a friend and only buy books that will takr a long time to read - the rest would be from the library
Thriftbooks.com has the Betsy Maestro series. It's called "The American Story". Thanks for the heads up!
Oh good!
Hi, thanks for the infomative video. I am thinking about homeschooling my son but I dont know where to begin. Any suggestion.
Do you order the silks through your charter and is that something you have to return at the end of the year or can you use it under a consumable product? Thank you
please tell about Ramadan wall decoration with Aayat..!
and i am referring to kids paper crafts.
Salam Shazma, you can try this one:

am starting a home school how can i get books too orden bye mail love your videos
Marilyn, what state are you in?
I just started homeschooling- well about to start... and Im so overwhelmed.. how do you choose what units to do at what grade level?
i want to homeschool my first.... so scared im going to mess it up though... where do i start?!? mind you shes only 1 lol
-Hana
and now I want more books. ha
Haha, same here when I watch other channels. I hope you can find your favs at the library and save some coin ;)
-Hana
Pepper and Pine I found some. thankfully I have the tool on chrome that links Amazon to your library and shows if the library has any books you are looking at!

-Hana
Madam ..please tell from where we can measuring mat.. i need it and how many price of this
Can you please tell me the minute marker? I can't seem to think of the product you are referring.
-Hana
LOVE your hauls & demos!!! I just ordered several of the games you mentioned and I'm ordering several of the "Who Was...?" biographies from Libraryanded.com
Very very fun
Would be nice to say how much this total haul cost for one year.
In general we use about $2K per child per year, but we don't pay out of pocket for that. That's the funding we receive from our charter school to use on homeschool material and classes.
Hi can you mention the amount of the charter school grant , can you give a dollar $$ amount of how much money you get
Sure, would you mind sending me a private message via facebook?
Your kids are lucky
It's been a fun year for sure!
Great video! have a nice day kiss
Great share💓 just posted Montessori I Spy language activity and tutorial for parents, teachers and caretakes that you may be interested in. Have a great day!
Thank you!
It's exciting anyway :)
-Hana
I don't know that much about the statistics side of RUclips. I think it's great that your videos are educating others even outside your immediate network of subscribers, all about the ins and outs of homeschooling and education in general.
💕💕❤️
jazaki elleh khayran
Wa ayakki :)
Do I have children that u home svhool
it is 1000s of dollars worth of crap that would not go to any paying career
