Dude I saw Yang coming. He was the #8th seed. Beats almost everyone outside of JPN and KOR. Seriously dangerous on the ground. Biggest upset for me was the NED Tsjakadoe vs the RUS. But I've got a theory! And I'm gonna say it here first... RUSSIANS AIN'T DOING SO WELL CAUSE THEY'RE NOT DOPING ANYMORE.
Yeah. The predictions and analysis are great. There is no other source for this high level information. I feel other sports (probably because of higher popularity) get this analysis. Thanks for the time and effort. Love your videos and teaching.
You know why? Coz he is smart and sticks to the game plan, displaying his cases better than any other Japanese judokas. (Which tends to not appear to the judges as much) I like Takatos dynamic throws but, hate his games against top tear, he loves taking cheap Shido on those guys.
@@AceInose I dint mind him for king the shiddos but in The final the last one was not a shiddo. The TPE guy literally had 4 attacks to none and takato got no shiddo, next they both get stock doing nothing and TPE takes the penalty. Sad to see that…
Bocay505 Yeah it was pretty leaned towards Takato from earlier grip fighting sequences. as he appeared well on the second Shido, which seemed to set the tone on the Taiwan player being stingy to fight straight forwardly. Definitely not the best ending to the final. I kinda liked Takato interview after the fight stating that “it didn’t end in a great throw or fashionable way as he may want or spectators would like to see. But that is my judo” Seemed that he hinting the ref decision being leaned to his favor, but it is what it is.
No one saw Yang coming, so we’ll conditioned with great defense and ne waza. Smetov and Takato was insane…..

Good job on calling the TPE judokas strong performance. I really wanted Smetov to win....
Yeah keep these up Travis, like these brackets, and the tech breakdowns you're doing now.
THANKS! I might try to do these for all the Big Events. Worlds, Grand Slams, Masters, Europeans

Definitely keep doing these. Really enjoying them.
Thanks, will do!
Thanks again for the video Travis! These videos are very cool and fun and I definitely support some more of these!
Please refer to the Taipei player as coming from Taiwan. You’re not beholden to the Chinese communist party.
hi Travis, nice video. It would be very cool to have this videos for grand slams and world championships
Doin this for a world championship tournament or paris GS would be great!
Quality content, big like
👏👏👏
Takato was favored by the referees twice…
