I love your cards! Thank you for teaching us how to "art!" I am thankful for you, Lindsay, and appreciate that you give us "permission" to change things up to suit us. AND that you encourage us to use what we have rather than buying the exact products you are using. You are a true embodiment of your brand, The Frugal Crafter.

aww, thank you:) It is so easy to be tempted by all the new stuff, get it home and then be like "what was I thinking!" Many of the stuff we have is the same as new things coming out or will substitute beautifully:)

Quit putting yourself down. You are a very creative artist. When people critique your artwork negatively, tell them to put up or shut up. Especially in the time frame you have to create your video. Love you and your work, I have learned so much watching your videos. 😊

I heard no snark whatsoever; just wisdom and humor and joy. You seem to have such a good time and that's contagious. Great cards and great as inspiration for me as I continue on my creative journey. Thanks!

I have been watching you forever and I love your attitude especially when you said if you dont like it throw it away its only paper, and your so right. Sometimes we get hung up on being perfect and not wanting to mess around with different techniques or use new products because we are afraid of ruining our projects but then we are missing out on all the fun and not being creative by doing that. It is only paper if you dont like it toss I love how free you are creatively. Im not as free as you are but Im getting there.Thank you so much for your tutorials, product shares and just having fun with us. You are greatly appreciated. God Bless.

Lindsay, I should have written months ago. You are the greatest, like another comment I am in my late 50's and have decided to take up watercolor painting. I watch your videos so often that I am lucky there is not a fee. Please keep being you, so positive, so happy, so encouraging and just so nice.

I really enjoyed this video. I love what you created, the inclusion of the thread. I love the blues and green with the orange and red; great color combo. I don't have the oxide ( still on the fence about them), but I'll use the regular distress inks and try different colors. This has given me the incentive to play around and try to think of more ideas. I need to do a small stash of cards for thank yous and general greeting. Thanks for the tutorial. I really appreciate your time and creativity.

i think trying out dif backgrounds can be fun. once i was stamping several cards and using many dif colors. happened to have a pc of card stock under my what i was working on and when i was done, looked at that 'scrap' and decided it would make a fun background for a card. plunked some more on it and it turned out to be a really fun card!

I have become addicted to using stencils BUT I really like the mini gelli plates. Those r now on my want list. The two cards using them r my fav. I'd either put another small gear or sentiment to cover the oops area and add another dandelion seed to even it out. Great job with this video. Found my clear chess set yesterday and can't wait to make your cute daubers. I already put one on a small acrilic block. Makes a cute handle and I can now find it so easy. No hunting for it in all the paper mess. I use it to help tear my score tape in a perfect line instead of just tearing it off. Makes is real nice for your next application of the score tape 😍🤗

I love how you share money saving tips - I definitely have that same problem of wanting an entire collection of something, but when I recently bought the oxide inks, I just bought maybe six in a rainbow of colors and really that's all I think I need :) could have even just did red, cyan, and yellow to make the other colors too! You absolutely blow me away with your creativity! Your designs are fantastic and I get so much inspiration from you but with all the techniques you are so accomplished at, when I sit down to do something I'm overwhelmed with choices to dabble with. I just bought some Distress Oxide inks and am itching to play. You give me courage to experiment! I'm just starting to try water coloring also and I hope someday to get the gorgeous results like your creations! I noticed in this video you use you own homemade dabbers. Awhile ago, I saw a video where you talked about chess pieces and makeup pads. Can you share where that video is so I can go back and watch? I would like to make some for myself. Thanks for all you do for us! You are simply amazing, Lindsay!

I LOVE these background techniques! I don't have any Distress Oxides but I think I could use my other stuff. I'll try anyway. You seemed a little defensive today. People can be very rude, and many people find fault if it isn't something they totally agree with. It as if they think they are wrong if they don't like a detail or are somehow inferior. Hey people, it's called individuality, or personal taste, or being yourself. It's a fundamental aspect of being an artist. I always adapt your techniques to what I have, and limited, my recent purchase from Rubber Stamp Tapestry notwithstanding. I Do blame you for that little addiction. But after I checked out their catalog, I think I only got 2 or 3 of the sets you have and lots of others you've don't have or haven't used on vid. FYI - RST now has "blender brushes" So please continue to be your very talented and individual self. And continue to share your techniques and your art.

Oh girl, you and I have the exact same tastes in colors so I love to watch what colors you match with each other because I am a horrible judge at that. You'res look amazing. I love the look of using gesso in the stencil because I do that same look a lot also, over top of brusho'ed backgrounds, etc., and I've always used my embossing paste which as you know is a lot more expensive for the very similar look. ALmost even better with the gesso as it's a little less opaque which I like. Wanted to ask you also, I can't remember if I've seen you do it before or not but do you ever use aluminum can cuts on some of your bolder dies? Then alcohol ink them. Some amazing looks from that. That is like one of my favorite things to do. I love alcohol inks and will use them however I can but on aluminum is awesome. Couldn't remember if I'd seen you do it so just wanted to share. As always, love your videos.

They are all so beautiful I really couldn't tell you which one I loved the most! They all remind me of a large certificate that my Father got from the Navy during World War II It was of Antarctica and all of the colors was of the Orange, Coral, Blue and Green and the gear reminded me of a ships uhh, I forgot (brain freeze) anyways he crossed that and also the Equator First ship to ever cross the Equator and that reminded me of the other certificate that he got from the navy, it was Green and Blue! So, that's why I'm having a hard time saying cuz all 4 of them is really exquisite! I must have your taste in Art 😉 I do kinda favor the one with the Orange and Coral in it more 🥰😉 I got on the website to order all those cute peg stamps and sad but true, they don't carry most of them any longer. Although they still had the Butterfiles and Ivy so I ordered me that! I am really happy that they still carried that 🥰❤❣ I do have to tell you I got laughing so hard when you said; I'll do me and you do you! I used that line all the time with my EX! I ended up doing what I do.... that's why I say he's my EX!!! LOL LOL 😂🤣😅😄😁 Love what you do for all of us Lindsay! Thank You So much for sharing! Sending Love ❤ and Blessing to you and your Family and Loved ones Lindsay 😊❤❣
