If AOJ did get new support to make it more competitive, they would probably need to just ditch the central playstyle of the deck and just make it swarm the field with synchros, like with the Black-Winged Dragon support and Superheavy Samurai support. Someone at Konami - well, we’ve got all this Duel Terminal Lore, we might as well put it in somewhere. Too bad that, with hindsight, we can all agree that Duel Terminal is an incoherent mess, otherwise like to see them get the World Legacy Solo Mode treatment.
Well at least this means we get one step closer to the dragon showdown between the Dragunities and the Ice Barriers. I wanna know what happened to the Dragunities after they sealed the Ice Barriers dragons by beating them with a steel chair.
I know what happened. The dragons ended up being unsealed by the Six Samurai, Infernity and Crystal Beast archetypes years later to use them as weapons of mass degeneracy.
We could have the Albaz solomode, Live Twin solomode, the continuation of the fking Six Sam solomode but nah, the employee on Konami said " Fk it, ALLY OF JUSTICE ! "
On one hand, it's neat to get official summaries of older Duel Terminal lore. On the other hand, the Ally of Justice archetype probably wasn't the best place to start.
Ally of Justice's best monster's best (only) effect is a weaker version of Shaddoll Construct's worst effect, as people use her to retrieve Shaddoll Spell/Traps, and would rather deal damage than destroy whatever she battles.
@@waskithonugroho3955 The lore is that the AoJ are basically made *out* of the Genex, which just means that, Catastor aside, they're straight-up a downgrade compared to just running Genex.

The story is fine and all(well it's actually kinda bland but I've heard worse), but it's EXTREMELY silly that the prize cards for this are just some high level Normal Monsters. I don't think even this archetype gives you a good reason to run the things.
A solo gate based on the Different Dimension lore (with DD Warrior Lady, Dai Grepher etc) could be cute
honestly im really happy we got this, i know the archetype sucks but i love duel terminal lore
(Legacy of the Worthless flashbacks)
I had my hopes up for a massive Duel Termjnal solo mode without disastrous writing. Oh well.
You know it's bad when Genex puts your archetype to shame.
to be fair ailly of Justice combine with genex to beat worm iirc
@@waskithonugroho3955 The lore is that the AoJ are basically made *out* of the Genex, which just means that, Catastor aside, they're straight-up a downgrade compared to just running Genex.
0:29 They say you can find it over the grand line
Ally Of justice is a deck whose entire thing is that they are "good" at dealing with Light attribute monsters.
The last 2 challenges of this solo mode have you using AoJ -THE FUCKING ARCHETYPE THAT DOES NOTHING AGAINST ANY OTHER ARCHETYPE BTW, to fight an earth machine mix and a monarch mix, with no Light attribute monster used in both of those deck.
Yeah, but one time if you draw the Heavy Metal Raiders, you just win! Seriously, why? Why was that the win con?
You can just SMELL the amount of love and care that the devs put into this solo mode.
@@JackofCookieJars heart of the card simulation I guess?
@@nick-playercharacter8583 ah yes, it is almost as funky as their urge to NOT ban floodgates
Good to see someone who actually knows how to play yu gi oh struggle the same as me in some of there solo mode matches. The Decks they be giving you, and the ones your opponent has. Just RNG to hope the bot bricks hard and u start with a godly hand
The monarch part of this was crazy to me because I opened two United We Stand and they literally couldn't stop me if they tried
Took my a while to beat this overall tbh and it took the AI to brick on something for me to win
Every ygo story sounds like this when you take the rose tinted glass off
Frankly, I couldn't stand being forced to play some bizarre hybrid of Gimmick Puppet and World Legacy
Yugioh solo modes always suffer from the fact that the difficulty is tied by how bad you bricked. Now imagine that with a dog tier "archetype"
Does the audio sound weird or is it just my imagination?
Begin the comments about a reupload!
The fact that I beat this solo mode gate without United We Stand against the Monarch AoJ deck is kind of hilarious
It's hilarious that Branded-Despia and all their lore associated tools like Dogmatica and Bystials is a better "Anti-Light, Anti-Extra Deck" than Ally's of Justice and Mekklords put tougher.
I love how ally of justice is so God damn terrible that the tutorial for the deck required jet synchron. Clearly jet synchron is the best ally of justice card XD
The one good thing that came from the ally of justice was the Genex lore, not the archetype but the lore of them
The ONLY good thing about this solo mode is that it might lead to a Fabled gate.
I mean to be fair ally of justice is the beginning of a lot of really interesting lore
Does someone have a link of this? I wanna see the full duels with everything and the suffering included
I never knew that every ally of justice except catastor being worthless garbage is lore accurate
I'm pretty sure Weather Painter + Nemesis vs. Weather Painter + True Draco/King is still the absolute WORST nightmare of a solo mode. I do love the painters, don't get me wrong, but they have almost 0 chance of beating "turn 1 immune to everything 2400-3000 ATK pass". That one was absolute NONSENSE. WeatherPAINters, as it were.
Seeing how much Joseph Struggled on that First Duel serves to Remind me that I was just Lucky for Winning it First Try...
Ah yes. Ally of justice. Aka Catastor and cards that only come up when a light deck with graveyard effects or special summoning are meta.
"Who wanted this?"
People that wanted the Duel Terminal story told, mainly.
At least they’re starting to explain the complicated ass Duel Terminal
tbf... a lot of people were asking for this. not ally of justice exactly, but duel terminal
We need an Arcana Force solo mode
I'd love to see them get some lore
God no. That's the bottom 1 absolute worst archetype of all time. Only Guardians comentaris even close.
Lots of people want hidden arsenal. Mostly because we never played the archetypes, know there is lore and don't know the lore and they came from a pack we didn't know existed.
This is the only Solo Mode where I didn't even try the loaner decks.
Honestly, ghostrick was worst, because it was always a mirror match of set monsters
I honestly got lucky and I got through the Ally of Justice loaner duels pretty painlessly. If you want to talk about pain, the original Demise loaner duels were misery incarnate.
wasn't ally of justice just a side event of duel terminal that had no impact on anything at all. clearly the perfect choice to be the first duel terminal story being brought to md
Damn, I really got lucky with this solo mode because it didn't take me THAT LONG to beat it holy shit.
Bro, the solomode is literally bringing the story of duel terminal
