I'll admit it. I also thought that Blazing Inpachi looked like he was playing Basket Ball as a kid. It also didn't seem that far fetched to me either since Battle Footballer and Ultimate Baseball Kid (Other early monsters based off sports) where also Fire attribute. So I just assumed that Yu-Gi-Oh just made a Sports = Fire motif in some of its cards.
The first time I saw this card was when Duel Links released. I didn't read the flavor text so I thought it was like an anthropomorphic leopard playing basketball
Phoenix Mode does, that's it. Apparently they thought Egyptian God Slime was more important than all 3 Egyptian Gods combined, and they're probably right.
Doug was talking about what would’ve happened had the God Cards been legal and MegaCapitalG actually did a video on that topic. He concluded that Obelisk would’ve been the best boss monster in the game while Slifer would’ve been the best control card in the game. Ra probably wouldn’t have seen play.
Hell if Slifers effects were printed on some archetypal boss monster that is easier to get out consistently, hed actually be playable even by modern yugioh standards, it would effectively blank your normal summon and make you special summon everything below 2k in defense, which is relatively strong
@@fortidogi8620 The "OG" God Cards with the coloured backs were never playable because they're just collectors versions; the three each got official playable versions w/ effect text printed later on, starting with Obelisk, then Slifer, then Ra (they got released one at a time iirc).
The inpachi number on its chest its a mark for when he was a tree to be cut down. He gained sentience when all other trees around him got chopped off. OR when he gained sentience he actually got a pro basketball contract

Well, she is legitimately bad if your opponent is just setting monsters (which they probably are as you have a 2K attacker on your side). She's a great card for beating over other beaters, but spending 1/8th your LP just to run over a defense position monster that your opponent has 20 more of or, worse, smack into a 2K defender is very not good.
@@Celestia282 thats not bad at all you just use her as a 2k defender and tribute her for summoned skull. shes objectively better than the 2k defenders that everyone used and a great way to win the 1900 beater arms race
Hey Dzeeff, you seriously have to make a video commentary on how inept and idiotic Konami has gotten when making these special events and how players are so easily abusing the special rules to make decks that are the maximum in anti-competitive and virtually unbeatable in master duel. I'll give a great example of what I mean, in the current special event going on in master duel the special rule is that you can only use fairy and fiend monsters. Sure that is all well and and good, there are plenty of great monsters in those two types, to name a few I like; madolche, infernity, fluffal, frightfur, and others as well those I don't know if right this moment. The three problems I see are 1.) Konami intentionally puts on special event ban list cards that would prevent the decks they want played from being played cards such as skill drain, necrovalley, there can be only one, cauldron of the old man, among many others. 2.) Konami it would seem doesn't do any sort of play test of these events prior to their public release to find the decks that would be too problematic and difficult to beat with a deck that isn't a mirror of the main deck being used by a majority of players at the time. 3.) That because of no plsy testing, players of master duel seem to become mindless sheep just copying decks that are extremely difficult to beat due to the mechanics of the deck faced so that they can attempt to prevent themselves from constantly losing to an event specific over powered deck. The perfect example of this theory is what I just rage quit master duel because of. I made a decent deck who hopefully would get me a maybe a 60% win ratio when all is said and done at end of event, yeah I'd probably lose a good amount of duels but I'd also win some thusly having fun. But oh hell no that wasn't to be, I kid you not I played for 120 minutes-ish and faced 64 different players. Of those 64 duels 62 times I played against the labyrinth deck and 61 times I lost (42 were surrender because I'm not wasting my time playing a duel I have less than 0% chance of winning.) Really Konami couldn't have done anything or foreseen something like that happening and done something to prevent it such as limiting certain labyrinth to one copy or perhaps preventing certain cards in that archetype from being used? Do I expect to win every duel I enter of coarse not, but I would hope that id be given a fair shot you know.
Regarding the Inpachi stuff, you should totally check out the bootleg version of Inpachi where they give the number on its torso much more importance: Giant Wood 18.
Clown's effect is non-target, the one is bounce and the other is destroy. That is good effect, why Konami didn't make Clown deck because this theme looks interesting.
I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure they can. Though, probably only for the one day they filmed, and any other days would still be a personal expense.
MBT's Jellyfish love is foreshadowing for his love of Ghoti.
Its foreshadowing his love of stinger flynn
He does regularly teach them how to do things so it's not quite a secret

Shout out to Danny in the Mirror
I’m looking in the Dan in the mirror
It’s not a match up I would’ve wanted to see but great tech in the deck otherwise
