Whoever decided to upload this in 4k is a goddamn genius
Just see.i.donot. know another. This...
Idk what to say .. you feel the love in his voice .. love for travel , love for food, love for people… what you don’t see is the love for himself . It’s clear he was the most happy/unhappy person on this earth .
Easy on the existential blah blah …..
True that !
Master story teller. Noone else tells it like him
For me .
Couse he .
I loved that he really developed a love for Vietnam
To me he treats his love for Vietnam like New York.
Yes I think so. Maybe time idea.
Thank you, Go Traveler, although you make us wait for another episode for months
They have all the episodes in another playlist. This is just the 4k.
Beggars can't be choosers.
Easily one of the best travel shows, now in 4k :D
i love phillipe! dudes just so humble and 100% interested in food like myself. when i go out i want to eat stuff pple shy away from.
Love watching these old episodes💗💗
I,see exactly why he fell in love with Vietnam.
Just so heartwarming ♥️.
ค่ะ
Miss him. Thanks for the upload! ❤️
Did I just see a scalloped fretboard? That is awsome.
I wish No Reservations would be available on You Tube too.

I do enjoy watching 'reruns' of Tony's shows, next best thing. Still feel sad about his sudden end.
Exactly man!
No Reservations was the only thing of his I could find on cable so they may be reruns but its all new to me
Thanks you for sharing your story rest in peace Tony God loves you
I love Vietnam. We must keep our oceans clean.
It's been a while that I didn't enjoy something like this much, while I was watching this episode. It is just beautiful. Everything that happened afterwards...God damn it! It gives me the feeling that I have to change my life.
Same I had a sort of a mental breakdown the other day and after watching anthony’s Videos tonight it lightened me up and made me a little hopefully
I would have loved to go along with Anthony on this one. My family is Dutch, and doing everything on the water just comes naturally. And oh buddy, especially the food that goes with it.
Vietnam tauight me about food economy back in 1984. I was introduced to classic Vietnamese cuisine in Saskatoon.
One duck fed all those people? That is amazing!
It is said the Vietnamese drinker can feast on a single peanut. It's all about the booze and the person you drink with. I suspect the had a potluck with people bringing various chickens.
Thats Jesus in action ! He's in the multiplying business ❤
The best.
RIP Mr Bourdain 🙏🏽
Got to love that "Apocalypse Now" reference with the ceiling fan in a hotel in Vietnam.
Miss this dude and all his shows.
Some of the best travel memories I have had were befriending a taxi or equivalent driver and asking them where they buy their food and where they eat
Nice bass line from “stir it up” by Bob Marley at 4:00.
"Please, God, let it be a chickpea" 😂😂
the heart of darkness reference tied the episode up in a bow.
We do not.know what.he thing .just love him.
The fact a man who has everything and met so many humble people and took his life ...one is nothing with out spiritualty.
Some Ho-bag named Asia Argento was the cause of his demise
He found spirituality in the end and was killed because he was about to speak out about some of the dark things he had taken part in, for which he was seeking absolution
I just know him 6 days ago. So i love him.
the duck looked SCARY
Just amazing 👏👏👏👏👏!
I dream about the place.
Rip tony. U are so missed
10:29 I lived in Vietnam for 6 months. I had a friend there that would take me to his friends' houses. We always did shots. It was weird though because on friend would do a shot with me, then another friend would, then another friend. Between these sometimes everybody would drink but it turned out I was drinking about 3 shots for everybody else's one. I wasn't sure why and my friend never told me until after I left that they wanted to see how much I could drink.
Diddnt yall have like every episode up here?
Your 4 ever missed A.B. Migwech 🔥
*You're
06:43 Love that "rights free" Fatboy Slim music. However...I'm not criticizing, I love this series!
It's like Bear Grylls but in urban environments.
Viet Nam ❤
❤mey God Bless U AnFamily
That duck is seriously undercooked…….very dangerous
Mybe u.s. viet. Make him
Gucine
I know the feeling well, when me and my wife visit her family in Thailand, the entire village shows up at the house, like over a hundred people!…..used to freak me out but I’m used to it now…..ps I’ve always found Thai people to be much more friendly and welcoming than the Vietnamese
I respect him a lot cause I really can’t eat that dirty sheetty duck sorry people this is so gross
That duck cooked in clay looked horrible.
Yes, the duck cooked in clay did look scary. However, Tony and Phillippe survived that meal. Tony was not so fortunate after eating bird's nest soup!
Nasty duck meat😮😢
At 7:39, these people haven't even understood how to bake clay?
Maybe Bourdain was being made a fool of by the villagers!
And the heavy drinking is a machismo contest, who can dose the most anaesthetic .
They were in a very rural area and besides very country has a way of doing things their way. They can't afford to waste a couple of ducks just to make a fool of a stranger.
Thank you bourdain
