Yeah, the FYE near me closed down a few years ago. It sucks because I loved that store so much and I will never forget the first time my dad took me there as a little kid. I was in complete awe at the amount of movies there.
It really does suck man! U dont find many places like fye!! Eventhought theh have awesome movies but they have tons of weird stuff u never see in that store!
Actually... FYE is really nothing to rave about. Too many of their titles are always way over priced. And for your basic well known titles (like The Shining, IT, Jaws, Aliens, etc) you can always find them way cheaper at Best Buy or Walmart. Yes, in steelbook editions!

Planet Terror is a zombie movie. I think you’d like it. My favorite was Death Proof. I really dig the car chases that pays homage to the classic car chase movies. I was gonna get The Thing steelbook, but that would make it my third copy.

@@durantcinema7345 I was a zombie charging down a corridor in a big fight scene. Also was front and centre in a scene where a soldier rammed a grenade into a zombies mouth and pulled the pin. Sadly that was cut from the final cut but at a q&a with the director he says he'll probably release the full 20 min segment on blu ray instead of the 6 mins shown in the theatrical cut.
They premiered it today at Urban Action Showcase Festival in New York and are looking at a mid January blu ray release here in the UK. Definitely worth a watch bud. Also, was lucky enough to watch the big crowd scene being filmed from the start of World War Z when they filmed in Glasgow a few years ago. Keep the blu ray vids coming buddy. So jealous of some of the amazing steelbooks you have in the States. I would be flat broke if I lived there. Haha.

Cool video! I liked Justice League, It was okay and that's the problem. It should have been a lot better. I usually watch Planes, Trains and Automobiles and Uncle Buck every Thanksgiving. Nice pick-ups!

Once I heard you were getting The Thing and realized your FYE store was closing, I started repeatedly shouting Kurt Russell's "Yeah, f*ck you too!" line from the movie. FYE is quite literally my all time favorite store. To see any of these stores close down is not only sad, but it makes me wonder how many nerd-related and physical media specialty stores we are even going to have in the future. Sure, there's Newbury Comics (at least in New England), but their new release prices are horrible, and they barely have new releases to begin with. Speaking of which, they gotta start giving away more 4Ks. The closest FYE to me is in New Hampshire, and if I was ever able to drive, I'd go there in a heartbeat. I am REALLY hoping that store does not close soon or else I might never see the chain again unless maybe they show up at comic con. What was that other thing (no pun intended)? Oh, right, pickups. Tbh, I've got nothing to report. I was at Newbury Comics in Providence this weekend and they surprisingly had more 4Ks than I expected. Also, this was during the weekend of Rhode Island Comic Con and they had an FYE booth. Apparently there was an exclusive Blu-ray for Hocus Pocus available.

@@durantcinema7345 the 4th is fun enough. It has "Replacement Nova" Who's kinda fun. But sharknado 5 is just these actors thinking they're better then they are (with the acception of Nova's actress. Who isn't awful) All movies have their fun moments. Sharknado 5 has my personal favorite Cameo in "Tiffany 'New York Pollard. She was my favorite tv persona. It was fun to see her on tv again

Just got done watching the original Terminator and thought about your impressions of Arnold because now I can't watch an Arnold movie without thinking about your impressions. It's making me really excited for them to release more of their older films on 4K, y'know? A lot of those older movies could really look fantastic on 4K if they really did them right....imagine how crisp those colors would look on those older movies. I m not the biggest fan of zombies (even if I do watch TWD but lets be reaI.. in the last few seasons.. how much its about the zombies in there ? Its more about THE PEOPLE! haha) But I will say what I like better.. and my answer is often: Runing ZOMBIES ! Those are scarier for sure I usually like vampires over zombies but runing zombies are for sure more interesting and scarier than those slow moving.. cuz the people who makes these types of movies (or tv shows) usually uses 2 types.. Slow moving zombies and fast moving zombies) Sadly.. lately my vampires are suffering.. a few underrated but good vampire movies and lots of zombie movies (some overrated).. Damn you Twilight.. Those are not my zombies.. I need Blade (from Marvel) back haha

@@durantcinema7345 I was a zombie charging down a corridor in a big fight scene. Also was front and centre in a scene where a soldier rammed a grenade into a zombies mouth and pulled the pin. Sadly that was cut from the final cut but at a q&a with the director he says he'll probably release the full 20 min segment on blu ray instead of the 6 mins shown in the theatrical cut.
They premiered it today at Urban Action Showcase Festival in New York and are looking at a mid January blu ray release here in the UK. Definitely worth a watch bud.
Also, was lucky enough to watch the big crowd scene being filmed from the start of World War Z when they filmed in Glasgow a few years ago. Keep the blu ray vids coming buddy. So jealous of some of the amazing steelbooks you have in the States. I would be flat broke if I lived there. Haha.

Once I heard you were getting The Thing and realized your FYE store was closing, I started repeatedly shouting Kurt Russell's "Yeah, f*ck you too!" line from the movie. FYE is quite literally my all time favorite store. To see any of these stores close down is not only sad, but it makes me wonder how many nerd-related and physical media specialty stores we are even going to have in the future. Sure, there's Newbury Comics (at least in New England), but their new release prices are horrible, and they barely have new releases to begin with. Speaking of which, they gotta start giving away more 4Ks. The closest FYE to me is in New Hampshire, and if I was ever able to drive, I'd go there in a heartbeat. I am REALLY hoping that store does not close soon or else I might never see the chain again unless maybe they show up at comic con.

I was at Newbury Comics in Providence this weekend and they surprisingly had more 4Ks than I expected. Also, this was during the weekend of Rhode Island Comic Con and they had an FYE booth. Apparently there was an exclusive Blu-ray for Hocus Pocus available.

And fye is out and it sucks big time because I'd always go there for years!! Only reason to go to the mall in the first place but not only does it have great physical media but just random stuff u dont normally see at all!!! But what can u do though it stinks! And damn sounds like u had a good time man! I've never been to a comic con before

Just got done watching the original Terminator and thought about your impressions of Arnold because now I can't watch an Arnold movie without thinking about your impressions. The Lion King is my favorite Disney movie, too and I'm really excited at the fact they're releasing an older movie like that on 4K. It's making me really excited for them to release more of their older films on 4K, y'know? A lot of those older movies could really look fantastic on 4K if they really did them right....imagine how crisp those colors would look on those older movies. Last week on Halloween I bought David Cronenberg's The Fly at my Frys elections for 7$ & some change then went to Best Buy & saw that They still had The Terminator with that cool slipcover that was released in like July and pulled a slippidy it was so awkward doing that .

Wonder Woman 4k steelbook did not show up anywhere! I went to two Best Buys earlier and nothing. I went to the first one the minute they opened so it just never made it to stores. I usually like vampires over zombies but runing zombies are for sure more interesting and scarier than those slow moving.. cuz the people who makes these types of movies (or tv shows) usually uses 2 types.. Slow moving zombies and fast moving zombies)
