Just started playing this game after it sat in my Steam for years, I installed it by mistake and before you know it I spent over 7 hours spamming fireball, never picked up some mechanics on the way.. it's fun and overwhelming and this video was perfect ...
I feel like the biggest reason the campaign is a deal breaker for some is that it starts to feel like a real slog after act 5. The fact that you're ganking gods, albeit lesser gods, should feel badass, but it just feels like busy work

This is a great point of view. I did feel parts of this when going through. Another reason I think the campaign is tiresome is because when making multiple characters, you have to do it over and over and over again.
With the Crucible start, I wanted to get into the game, but after looking at it for a while I thought it to be too overwhelming, but a friend recommended your guide and now I am really excited to hop into the game and play it. The way you explain things makes them so easy to understand and it truly feels amazing seeing a character going from a simple spell to a full build that one-shots almost everything. I have played D3 for almost 2k hours and I'm still having much more fun in PoE. Thank you so much for taking the time to make such a comprehensive guide for new players, you really helped me out with this one :D
Being an avid poe fan and a content creator for the game, I personally think people are turned off by the game because it seems like more of a job than a hobby. I have also tried recruiting people and friends to play, but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of in-between. People either love it, or people just aren’t interested. I’ve also noticed a split between players that enjoy a more casual experience, and those who prefer a challenge. In both scenarios, I think players can find great value in path of exile. Especially with POE2 right around the corner. Even though games like this are much more enjoyable with friends (in my opinion), I also love the community and content creators like this willing to welcome new people with open arms into this whole experience. The takeaway I’ve had in my experiences so far with path is there is intact A LOT. But, when you get the hang of the game, the beauty of playing it is there’s no ONE WAY to enjoy it. Play the content you love, and take as much time as you want enjoying each piece of content. When burnout starts to occur, just flip the script and try new content! Thanks for the video. I look forward to seeing more of your content!
I don´t think the game would be that overwhelming if we could just have additional information on stats. For example a quick mouse-over tooltip to explain the difference between "global critical strike chance" and "just critical strike chance" would have been really helpful in my first playthrough. Or a tooltip explaining that caustic arrow benefits from "chaos damage over time" and "damage over time" passives, but not from "chaos damage" passives - could have saved me tons of frustration.... the list goes on.
I’m a casual and the only thing that scared me away was how bugged it was most instances I couldn’t play because I’d be froze up. They finally fixed that and now it’s a fun game
what I dislike about this game is that you can't really casually play it. it kind of forces you to watch guides and strictly follow builds in order to even finish the story mode let alone not getting constantly one shot while mapping.
Thank you for this, I was going to go into warlock and probably Necro kinda blind into the build and skills but this guide changed my mind and now I'm going to try and find and follow a good guide. Installing now on my PS4 since my laptop isn't that great I think my PS4 will have better performance:) thanks for the guide man

Just started playing yesterday, and I've decided to run a Poison Concoction Ranger build. The game is definitely overwhelming but your video helped a bunch, thanks!!!!
My biggest issue with the game is always when I get to mapping. My builds hold well until I get to that point. My builds are usually the same as what everyone is doing with the simpler ones, just go for hp, nothing crazy and damage modifiers with max resistances, but the gear and perfect links are always a problem for me. In the last league I tried a Concotion build and everything was fine until I got to maps where I just blew up instantly from almost every mob with 3k hp; empowered mobs that is, so I just quit again for the 10th time.
@@anthoonius_gabagoolius Following a guide to be ANY relevant in endgame despite finishing campaign should not even be a thing, that's the problem, lol. I am all for a challenge in games, but dude, this is a terrible design whether hardcore PoE nerds say "git gud" or not, it doesn't matter. If you cap resistances and finished the campaign, the start of the endgame should only be a tiny bit more challenging, then as you progress it should get harder and harder, you just farm and gear up for that and that's the correct loop. Not how it's with PoE where people finish campaign and get smashed immediately, then you either go to forums to find help or google guides, reroll or try carving a turd (your character) to somewhat make it be able to clear any endgame. You PoE players always come with excuses when newcomers (not necessarily people new to ARPGs) have valid criticism about the game's design, while there's no excuses. The game is just poorly designed, end of topic. "Git gud" is not an argument against it. Game sucks at explaining mechanics, that's its biggest issue.
@@DoctorStrange01 quit talking to me I don't play poe but it's clear as day if u don't follow a build ull suck that's the game dont like it dont play, steam shows the game is doing fine w out you
I played this game in like 2015 a couple years after it's release and got a little overwhelmed I originally only played Runescape cuz im a old geezer like that. But I think ima give this one a try again always liked the idea of the gem socket things. Good video.
@@ScruffyGG appreciate it and totally understand. I’m new to PoE I’m playing hardcore SSF, just got to act 8 and finished cruel lab. I have no idea what to do for gear upgrades besides alching and essences
This is my advice. Play the game and just have fun and enjoy it you will learn as you play its a amazing game with tons to do but dont stress yourself and just have fun and take it easy.
Im sure its super satisfying to build a house yourself, and learn everything about about it, but its also fucking nice to buy a finished house. Just sayin'.
The game as it is hardly drops beneficial gear so It feels like you need currency to make things happen whether that be crafting the gear you need or buying the gear you need but the game also doesn't drop enough of the main currency, that being Divine, Chaos and Exalted Orbs to make a difference when the items you need cost more that you can afford or an absurd amount of what you already have like Orbs of Fusing
Never really been into ARPG's that much and have been looking for one that has something special to keep me playing and PoE is definitely that. And its free, which makes its so much better. Tried all the Diablos, Grim Dawn, Titan Quest modded, Wolcen, etc. and PoE is the only game that feels satisfying to play for a longer time, i dunno why, they just really made something special and it is just the king of the ARPG genre, end of story.
Im an Diablo 3 player, a colleague told me to try poe. Tbh, Diablo is way easier to pick up, even the youtube videos and guides like maxroll are more straight forward than this. Still couldnt find a straight to the point: this is best witch build, this snd this talents you should pick and this gear/gems are best. On top: I’m a console player. I don’t want to go to special websites, I don’t run mods. On other hand, Im now lvl 34 and will figure things out myself I guess, just like we had to do in the past when wow came out.
There are many hundreds of Builds someone can play, depending on what a player likes the most. There will be no "best witch", sadly! The strongest "Builds" per season are always the hardest ones to achieve, therefore also not very beginner friendly.
I’m okay with difficult, I love a challenge, I just want to make the right choices for my class and such, I think more games should have a difficulty gate to enter, not every game needs to be casual friendly.
tbh the game is just poorly designed, the onboarding process is horrible, and even the build guides themselves give very little guidance to a beginner. It's likely that this is caused by feature creep, as the game is quite old. So it may have started out as a great game, but with every season, the addition of more and more content, the game becomes more and more overwhelming for new players. The veterans don't notice this, as they have been introduced to the mechanics slowly over time, but new players get completely lost in the jungle of mechanics.
I am okay with difficult and i love a challenge, but PoE's design is just shit. Why ? Because instead of being difficult and challenging, it's difficult and challenging without giving you any information about its mechanics and systems. Imagine you're a game developer. You have your wicked ideas about how the game should work, you implement them. But your players don't read your mind, they didn't go through process of designing these ideas. So what do you do ? Well, explain these ideas to them so they can tinker with these ideas. And this is where PoE's devs failed. They come up with ideas and don't explain them, they know they have an army of nerds who will study the game and will come up with solutions to problems they themselves created and it's all gucci. But that's not the case for new players, even those with ARPG experience. It's not about being casual friendly, game can remain hardcore but dude, the hardcore element should be theorycrafting and coming up with good builds and synergies, not figuring out what the devs had on their minds when they were creating mechanics you know nothing about, cause they're not explained at all :D That is literally the only true issue with this game, not the complexity itself, it's the lack of information about anything in game. Dash Peru above is right.
I want a game that I can play for years to come and there is always something new to try. Min/Maxers have a hard time with a gamne like POE because they want the best of everything ASAP. Obviously, it seems to me, that POE is actually a Min/Maxers' paradise if they give it a chance. I am a D4 refugee and I'm waiting to finish BG3 but I expect I'll really enjoy POE once I get started.
My friend want to convince me to play poe. I love arpgs. I play d2 on regular basis. Grim daw, titan quest etc. But i hate that if yoj want to make a good build you need to a) look at guide or b) play for a rly long time to be able make your own build capable of defeating the hardest bosses. And this is what i dont like. In grim dawn you have also quite complex character building but cuz of how easy is to respec you can learn on go and stay with your original character. Also i love to ssf and image being new player and ssf its so unforgiving. Its much easier for me to play different arpg. But i still watch a lots of tutorials for poe so some day i will be able to play it at least to some degree.
My problem is all the cool builds that I see and want to try out, the videos/articles explaining the builds are still confusing. Also playing on console, makes it worse because I can't just copy and paste the passive tree guide in. It just seems all the videos explaining builds expect you to know a lot about the game, so it just makes getting into the game way harder.
dude!! haahahahaha this guy is like "just pick a guide and follow it, the game is not complicated, yes its complicated but dont pay attention to that so its not complicated" im like okaaaaaaaaayyy..... whatever u say mister, even you dont make a lot of sense i will trust you. "just go to this website and follow this guide"...so I open the website to look at a guide... IT IS THE. MOST. COMPLICATED. website i have ever seen. Etuuuuuuu. HAHHAHAH! at this point this is just a joke right? this has to be a joke.
Great video, as I have reached the end game is it necessary to buy the customized stash tab from the store ? Because my stash tab is getting filled with items that are so overwhelming to use.
Stash Tabs are Quality of Life - Sorting them yourself is for sure not easy, I agree! Sadly tho, the only way to sell your Items on the official Trading Website is by having a Premium Stash Tab, Otherwise you have to use the Trade Chat ingame.
@@centrinobanderas2797 yeah stash tabs are a MUST BUY. People who say that don't and that it is just QoL optional are simply lying. You have to buy premium stash tabs to put items for sale. I recommend (as I did as a starter this league on patch 3.19) to play the campaign without spending $$ on the game, and start the end game content, if you enjoyed campaign and are enjoying the end game, then buy some tabs why not. The must buy ones are: Currency, Maps and at least a Premium Stash tab, the others for sure are useful but not as mandatory. (Ideally you will want to have all of the tabs, because the game was designed with those tabs in mind)
@@shaunhayes3072 I've gone thru over a hundred hours without them and while I spend a few min here and there organizing my stuff I'm doing fine, seems like eventually tho it's gonna be a massive pain but I haven't reached that point
Thanks for the vid :) If most peole say Path of Exile is overwhelming & overcomplicated, it's because it is lol. The level of complexity is beyond absurd. Forced to watch many guide videos + builds videos + builds in eng forums + add ons + you can't even reset your skills xD It's elitist. It's hardcore. It's non sense. It's okay for late boomers & veterans or nerds who passed a college degree in theorycrafting. Otherwise sadly, it's a solid no go unfortunately. Imo, developers are high af if at one point they think "yes, it's accessible for new players to understand the game, it's intuitive" xD
This video is a meme right? It's not complicated, just follow a guide (the guide itself is too complicated to understand for newcomers) It's not overwhelming, just ignore 99% of the content in the game If you die, you won't even know what you did wrong, so just die again, you will never know what killed you, because the game poorly communicates it to you. Right.
The video might appear as a meme, because the game design is a meme. If there was a competition about games who are the least player-friendly, PoE would probably take it. Like you said, everything is literally a question mark in this game. If you jump in, even as an ARPG fan and veteran, you will have absolutely no idea about what you're doing, you will die before you finish the campaign, and you will surely have a terrible time when you start mapping. It's because everything is unintuitive and purposelessly complicated without any explanation. I've played a bit of PoE like 2-3 years ago and i indeed followed a guide since the very beginning and watched multiple very long videos explaining the game so i have any idea, but it was not enjoyable to play this way at all. I feel like the only people who can come up with proper builds are total nerds that have thousands of hours in this game and know how every single mechanic works, so they can experiment with it. I like complexity and depth, but not when there's no explanation about game mechanics, like in PoE.
I started a week ago, I am lvl 26 and so far the game is fun and fairly easy. I am an ice-tank priest and I like it. If I actually have to go take a build someone else build or I can’t progress I will probably stop playing. This is boring.
This is not a beginners guide, it's an advertisement for the game. All you say is "don't be overwhelmed, it'f fine. BTW, if you want a guide, there's los around, go check them"... xD
"This game isn't complicated." "Don't just play something right away... [Watch] a league starter video." And that's why so many people are immediately turned off the game.
Tbf that is a lot of MMORPG games and it isn't a must, but most people feel bad by not doing thing efficient or doing something wrong in the start and have to work to fix it later, so alot of people focus on efficiency where as back in the day before all the internet guides and. Such people would just figure it out of not
@@jaketheriault8268 I don't know any MMO that is as unforgiving for not studying guides before playing it. If you mess up your skilltree and didn't follow a certain guide, you're pretty much done for by the time you reach mapping.
This game is hard trust me I ve been play it for almost a year and I never seen a endgame boss. And endgame maps is very complicated and 3 months is not enough time to do them so good luck with that. I never seen or done redmaps cause it's that difficult to get to.
Going from Campaign to Map Grind can be difficult. You lose a lot of resistances, so thats priority number 1 after finishing campaign. In Softcore, slowly work your way up from white to yellow maps, and check if your build has any mandatory unique items. Many build guides will show cheap alternatives for early endgame
@@ScruffyGG I always cap my res it's the damage of theses builds that questionable non of the league starters I've played don't have the damage to even do yellow maps. So it's pretty deceiving when they show endgame game gear you should have but your league starter is so weak that you never see endgame so what's the point.
I have 700 hours on this game, 50% of that time on this league (3.18, this is the 1st time I play the game seriously) followed a build step by step without deviating. I searched millions of videos on how to get currency to pay for stuff (chisels, alch orbs, chaos orbs to buy items, etc). So I started to grab the good yellows for me, then I did maps, I put the atlas passives to get more essences. I farmed essences A LOT (like 120 maps) on white/yellow maps, and put the essence modifier on the map device. With that I made 25 exalted orbs (I sold them on bulk at 110% price on TFT, yes, I learned about that discord thing and in the beginning it could help). With that amount of money I bought the rest of what I need, I try to do the scary bosses like the bosses before searing exarch, the exarch, eater of worlds etc. I just needed to learn about the mechanics and telegraphed mechanics (which is usually them saying something) and I killed them!. I don't blame you, when I got the achievement, 1.7% of people killed searing exarch. Now I'm learning about the maven fight. But in order to be there, I had to play a lot to farm and to learn. No need to play a lot on a single day, you can play 1 or 2 hours per day, but you have to play, specially if you want currency.
Hey cool vid, only problem u are linkin poebuilds video as place where new players should look for build. Dont do that thats lucifer of poe community he promotes rmt and half of builds are trash without 50ex and he almost always showcases with different gear than his ''cheap league starter''
@@darkmanddk i think someone already answered you earlier so i'm not sure what you are wanting to hear. The current league ends in 1 week. Someone told you that you can create a character in Standard league to practice (which I highly recommend) but you seem averse to the idea of starting over again for the new league. Please understand that this is the rhythm of PoE. Every 3 months, we get a new league, and everyone starts over from scratch. Characters that people have in the current league right now, will be automatically moved to standard when this league officially ends. Standard is the base game, most old league mechanics can be found there, but they are not immediately applied there in a current league. So, when 3.19 starts, only the temp league will have that league mechanics and items. League mechanics are usually rotated to standard after a round of balancing at some later point. I'm telling you all of this so that you understand. Creating a character in Standard now will enable you to get familiar with combat and items and the campaign, and you will still be able to play your character in Standard forever. But when the new 3.19 league comes out, if you want to play that new league, you will end up creating a whole new character for that specific league and you will start from scratch, just like everyone else. You will have to decide if spending a whole whopping week to create a character and practice is worth it to you. I will be honest and say that if you think doing something like that is a waste of time, you probably won't enjoy the game much, since again, every 3 months we all start over from scratch.
@@soshspotgames4380 another question: so if I would go tonight and start a character in standard and for example go for a Ranger type, what kind of tutorials (and which version) would I look for?
Awesome can't wait for hte kids to sleep to watch this. Is it too late for me to start up a ranger class as my first ever PoE or should I wait for this new 3.19 patch I keep reading about?
Season 3.19 starts next Thursday, but you can already practice a bit already in Standard League! Make sure to watch a guide for the specific build you want to play in the long term, it will help you on your way trough the campaign and early endgame!
@@ScruffyGG oky thanks. But does that mean that what I do now in terms of leveling and such will be erased next thursday and everybody starts all over again?
@@darkmanddk there are also people that only play standard league.. but also your characters from past leagues end up there. you will keep your character either way. so yes, with the league reset next thursday all chars from sentinel league will be transferred to standard and you wont be able to continue to play in the new league.
@@nemosonn o I see. But people still play this 'old' league?? Will the updates go back to that standard as well, if I say watch a 3.19 guide on some class, will it then be that way in the older one too?
@@darkmanddk standard league will always be up-to-date but lacks the current mechanic (current league, now sentinel).. so if sentinel would "go core", youd also be able to play it in standard. the skill balances also apply to standard (afaik).
i tried to play this game more than 10 times. have 140 hours on steam but every time is the same. i feel completely lost and abandon the game. idk man, i think the problem is in the game. its not everything so clear. i feel is a forum game. you have to talk talk talk in the forusm to play. should be more of the reverse, you play and then you talk. its just too much theory crafting :( they could update the tutorials
Never use leveling guides or especially talent guides on your first character. You might as well not even have a talent tree that gives you choices if that's what you're going to do. Maybe use guides for your 2nd character if you want.
PoE is probably the most hardcore video game currently on the market. In order to play it you have to study it like a degree. I gave up after a few hours of guide videos just to know the basics.
Why do people like to copy other's builds? That takes all the fun away! It would be like picking someone else's "bet picks" and this is highly frowned upon in the world of sports. I like to figure stuff out for myself. It's nice to have a guide, but to copy the guide word for word? Where is the fun in that? I took plenty of notes in school, no thanks! I will enjoy this the way I want to.
Because if you want to do any endgame in PoE, as a new player, you pretty much have no choice :D You need a lot of knowledge to even start theorycrafting in PoE, which is the biggest downside of its design. It's extremely beginner-unfriendly. How did going blind into PoE and finishing campaign then doing maps go for you without watching guides or following builds ? :D
"This game is similar to Diablo". ...absolutely not at all. In Diablo 3, the gear drops are mostly class specific. In POE, gear drops are 100% annoyingly random.
You are 100% correct. I felt, its easier to describe Path of Exile as "similar to Diablo" for new Player that has never played PoE yet, but probably has tried Diablo before. Especially since PoE is the so called "spiritual successor of Diablo 2"
PoE is a bloated mess, if you wanna play your own style then you are forced to read for 500 hours before you can even start to theorycraft and following a build guide is always boring as hell, trading in ARPGs is sadly trash
Sheesh. I just left the game again bec its overly complicated. I cannot enjoy the game i have more than 200 hours on the game still doesnt understand the basics. Just looking a guide and trying to make a build takes 5 hours of reading the mechanics i have no clue about. How people learned this fking game ? You need actual lessons to learn this game ffs its not a game its a major
How ? Some people are just very into games and learning stuff about a game, putting a lot of effort and time into it, like studying. Except, unlike studying, it gives you absolutely nothing. It is hard to understand, but some players are like that, the more complicated and addicting, the better. I am like you, i play games to play games, i like depth and i am a big fan of Grim Dawn for example (which isn't the most shallow either), and i love theorycrafting in ARPGs, but PoE is the absolute worst at explaining stuff to you to the point it's literally disrespectful. I have no clue why the devs have made such a complicated and convoluted with systems game and didn't bother to at least explain the basic mechanics in game (like Last Epoch's in-game guide for example), so you can start theorycrafting without watching long hours of guides. It's like : "here are hundreds of different skills, item effects, affixes and mechanics, have fun figuring out what does what and what synergizes with what in a way that is not a complete waste of time, because it's also very costly to respec" :D Game's a mess and i gave up on it, came back for Crucible league and watched a few videos again but nah. Wanted this league to be a waiting room for D4 but fuck it.
this video made me quit POE. thanks. I came here to get an understanding of how to proceed after my first 5 levels, because the game is just waaaay to overwhelming (and thats coming from someone who played dota for many years) then you say "game ezek pezek. not complicate mayte, just ignore complicateded, so its not complicated"..."and just use one of these websiteded. follow guide izi pizi bratan". I open the website and its the most complicated exel spreadsheet shit I have ever seen, so much so, that I cant even find where any of the guides are. All in all thats a no for me dawg. Fastest 180 I have ever done after starting a game.
Many people quit without guidance - best thing to do is "stick to your build, progress as you can". And true, build guides might be overwhelming if not written with new players in mind
to be honest, I would feel the same way if I watched this video as a new player. Even though everybody and their mama will tell you to use a guide, some people just want to take it slow and figure things out in their own time. I completely *f-ed up my first character, died to every boss, took ages to complete the campaign and had a terrible survivability - but I still had fun trying out what kind of playstyle I liked, discovering the boss mechanics and so on. What I want to say is this: you don´t necessarily have to follow a guide or buy top tier items and I´m sorry that this drove you away.

In the last league I tried a Concotion build and everything was fine until I got to maps where I just blew up instantly from almost every mob with 3k hp; empowered mobs that is, so I just quit again for the 10th time.
whats preventing you from following a build that works online
@@anthoonius_gabagoolius following a build is always lame and takes a huge part of ARPGs away
@@TheMCmaceep, I don't get how people like rpg's when they just cookie cut everything

I'm doing my first play through right now. I'm an old diablo veteran. No idea on why I've never tried the game before.
I played this game in like 2015 a couple years after it's release and got a little overwhelmed I originally only played Runescape cuz im a old geezer like that. But I think ima give this one a try again always liked the idea of the gem socket things. Good video.
Great game to play while you are afk skilling, that’s what I’m doing until Diablo 4 comes out haha
Got a few level 90 characters under my belt but just got back in the game after a few years needed a refresher really bad.
This was a great video. Can you make another video that’s “advanced”? Like not all the way end game but just before it
I'll put that on my list... have been busy so much, slacking so hard with youtube videos

I'd liked to try a necro build this season but I have no idea where to start with the minion changes.
Wanted to play Skeleton Mages myself, but that seems RIP to me! But we know for sure on Thursday
Check out GhazzyTV if you haven't already. He is the defacto Minion-channel and is already practicing and theory-crafting new minion builds. :)
Where do I find the guides you use?
I usually find the guides to my builds on poebuilds.cc
I hate I can’t collect all the loot. So much wasted loot.
"Yo dawg, i've heard you like ARPGs so here's an excel spreadsheet so you can beat the campaign"
I am certain you will enjoy Path of Exile! Try to not get discouraged early on, and focus on your next step only.
haha that intro, can you read my mind :) ill give it a shot
Like u know im not a "Beginner" but its very good explained gg much love
Huge help mate, thanks so much for this!
No problem 👍
I've just started playing the game and I absolutely love it just one question should I create a character for every class or not ?
I would suggest you start with just one in the beginning :) Plenty of time for more characters later
what build is he using i like it?? the wind spell shit
The build used for some of the footage is the infamous "Ward Loop" with Freezing Pulse!
I just started playing it for the first time. The graphics are bad. It’s pretty rough.

@@ScruffyGG so umm do I need to buy them or play at my own pace ?

If most peole say Path of Exile is overwhelming & overcomplicated, it's because it is lol. The level of complexity is beyond absurd.
Forced to watch many guide videos + builds videos + builds in eng forums + add ons + you can't even reset your skills xD
It's elitist. It's hardcore. It's non sense. It's okay for late boomers & veterans or nerds who passed a college degree in theorycrafting. Otherwise sadly, it's a solid no go unfortunately.
Imo, developers are high af if at one point they think "yes, it's accessible for new players to understand the game, it's intuitive" xD
great video
Ty so much, my dumbass thought support helped everything
This video is a meme right?
It's not complicated, just follow a guide (the guide itself is too complicated to understand for newcomers)
It's not overwhelming, just ignore 99% of the content in the game
If you die, you won't even know what you did wrong, so just die again, you will never know what killed you, because the game poorly communicates it to you.
I like complexity and depth, but not when there's no explanation about game mechanics, like in PoE.
how do you only have 480 subs
I am really inconsistent with uploading :/ (*promised a POE group play guide and its still not here*)
Just let people respec for free whenever they want. Most problems solved there.
Literally. You could fuck up your build infinite times and try different stuff to make it work YOURSELF, not by watching guides.

This game is hard trust me I ve been play it for almost a year and I never seen a endgame boss. And endgame maps is very complicated and 3 months is not enough time to do them so good luck with that. I never seen or done redmaps cause it's that difficult to get to.
Have you looked up or followed any builds?
Yes, and that doesn't help cause alot of those builds are not even strong enough to do yellow maps.
I know, I'll make a video for beginners, then immediately insult people who are intimidated by the game!
ik this is a weird question, but is there any way to play this game as a pacifist?
Hey cool vid, only problem u are linkin poebuilds video as place where new players should look for build. Dont do that thats lucifer of poe community he promotes rmt and half of builds are trash without 50ex and he almost always showcases with different gear than his ''cheap league starter''

@@ScruffyGG does it make sense to start my first PoE character journey now or should I wait for the new expansion 3.19?

PoE is probably the most hardcore video game currently on the market. In order to play it you have to study it like a degree. I gave up after a few hours of guide videos just to know the basics.
If you need a leveling guide in a game, as a new player - it's a badly designed game.
gud spiel
@@ScruffyGG problem is there shouldnt be a need to follow a guide or follow a specific build
