That was a super display of dignified sportsmanship from Dux (red) at the match conclusion...Johnson (green) was beaten - possibly due to that shoulder ailment he experienced during the match? - and in those last seconds he surrendered, and Dux showed huge comparison by not continuing to apply further pressure and with that gentle tap on the whistle, and the shoulder tap at the handshake. I was hugely impressed with Dux’s skill and ability during the match, but especially so in those last seconds...clearly a decent lad, and his coach and parents should be super proud of him. I’m sure Johnson will come back strong... Great match. Thanks MidwestWrestle for uploading 👍

Luc Dux shows impressive abilities to stay focused and adjust to his opponent. He does not seem to 'get rattled.' He is an extremely well rounded, skilled athlete. Bravo.

For those of you making fun of D. Johnson at the end for being emotional: not only are you pathetic for making fun of kids but you obviously have no clue the type of work ethic, tolerance of pain and sacrifice it takes to wrestle... that's all I'll say. Luke Dux was an awesome sport at the end patting Dawson on the back and consoling him. Wrestlers understand what wrestlers go through.
