You can see it on gsp's face when he's fighting, he's not playing. Even during a fight when he high fives Matt Hughes, he's so tense. Self honesty is an amazing thing, or rather being able to admit your feelings to yourself and everyone else, it might be powerful.

There are many people in combat sports who are psychopathic or at least in the neighborhood. Fighting really is enjoyable to them, so when they are saying there's nothing to fear, well... they are literally fearless.
I feel him. I was like this in HS playing football on game day. Scared I was going to get hurt or drop a pass. But once I got that 1st hit in was good and loved playing.

So doing all that work and preparing for what could be a 30 second KO or tap out. Especially when your getting paid nothing is it really worth it ? Only a few handful of boxers not Even UFC fighters get the big pay day. The gypsy king, money may, pac, Canelo and Connor who else is really making millions 🤷🏼♂️
