Dakar is a city that beats with the heart of Africa! The fusion of tradition, modernity, and vibrant art is unmatched, and the warmth of its people is unforgettable. This gem of West Africa deserves so much more recognition worldwide! 🌟🇸🇳
The people are so beautiful, love from Kenya
Shout out to Matador for teaching the young people in Dakar to be prideful of their country and culture.
as a senegalese this is very touching we need more exposure on African history and lifestyle
We need more exposure of Senegal as a destination for luxury travel as they say in the name, but instead they don't show anything about the real Dakar. I'm disappointed in the video. They always try to make everyone look like they are struggling to survive.
you look white. Not Senegalese.
Are you a colonizer descendant?
@@sinetageorge2003 if most people are struggling then that is the real Dakar
Wow this is Just an Amazing Documentary, Especially with a the African Girl teaching the young Boys to Surf, its Just Priceless and Needs Support, im Definitely gona Pay Senegal 🇸🇳 a Visit ❤

We need to get the textile industry back up and running in Africa. Black people are powerful we need to stop giving away our money to people that don’t care about us. For us by us!!!
I love Senegalese women, their melanin and their style ❤❤ from Kenya
Sooo incredibly beautiful 🙏
As a Gambian, i enjoyed this immensely. Love it!
This is a superb documentary, it focuses on street art and of course water art brings Senegal to the world. From the clothing markets to the wrestling the beauty and talent of the people of Dakar shines through.
Senegalese women are indeed very beautiful ❤

If someone could get Senegalese wrestlers to the UFC, I'm sure it would be interesting. Those guys are tanks! 💪🏾
Thanks for sharing
Great video. I’m visiting Senegal on Tuesday so I’m happy I stumbled on this video
The woman at the very beginning, sorry I have no clue how to spell her name, but she’s amazing!! I love that she is doing what she loves even if it’s “unusual.” Also absolutely love that in her spare time she teaches the children who dream to do what she does. How incredible to be breaking barriers and also passing her skill and knowledge onto the children.
If I was rich, I'd DEFINITELY invest in these people!!
I love this video.❤❤ I want to visit Dakar!

Welcome to Sénégal 🇸🇳
Love her beautiful dark skin 🔥🔥🔥
I think you made an early comment about why Senegal export so much cotton and buy cheap mat from China. When will they learn, Well it looks as if they have. I think the vid is old Senegal plans to ban the export of raw textile materials, according to Serigne Guèye Diop, the Minister of Industry and Trade. The announcement was made on December 9 during a meeting organized by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) with private sector entrepreneurs supported under the "Invest For Jobs" program. This initiative, active in eight African countries, promotes investments and job creation across various industries.
MashaAllah❤. This is an excellent documentary about Senegal
I love dancing sabar myself. It's beautiful.
Beautiful film/documentary; from a young female surfer to a gardener.
This is great!
Please forward info that I can get in touch with her to raise support for her surfing program.

@@vanhuvanhuvese2738 Senegal was called "West Sudan".🙂
"Acrobatic dances" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
No, if you don't know the dance name, ask the people, ask google.
Missing layups gaddamit…Come to Accra
Sama koñ unité 13 (Parcelles Assainies), 2 Gigas (lutteur) lol 😅😅
Mom Mongui beuré batay walla ?
This documentary is not new tho what year was this ?
I just returned, I cannot imagine surfing/swimming in the waters…the amount of garbage and pollution was appalling, I was even nervous to consume the seafood. St Louis has gorgeous stretches of beaches but was FILLED with litter, glass bottles, pieces of tin, and plastics for as far as the eye could see, like EVERYWHERE, you couldn’t walk a singular step without stepping onto trash, nevermind go barefoot. It was heartbreaking to witness, that said the Senegalese were wonderful people. I’m guessing they need better education and infrastructure regarding rubbish management, I noticed that trash bins were hard to come by whilst traveling throughout the country.
I agree with you. I visited Dakar beaches and found them so dirty and disorganized. The Gambia has similar people but it is much more organized and the beaches are clean and well maintained
Ringing or wringing?? I thought it was wrestling??
Its beyond me why they are purchasing their own materials from China. When will they learn.
Your country does the same. Shut up and leave them alone
Senegal needs to seriously develop and improve economically. I visited Senegal in 1975, 2007and most recently 2021 and based on my observation it appears, little has changed. The country needs to seriously invest in human capital … educate its large growing and young population … wrestling alone is not the future. Senegalese are generally very smart and have a good temperament ; however they need infrastructures and sounds economy to move forward into the 21-century. For that,Senegal needs a well-trained technical class and highly educated elite. Certainly, they need a new creative leadership to foster that path, to create a favorable business environment.
