Sikh religion was indeed revealed by Guru Nanak. "Na hum Hindu Na Musalmaan Allah Ram ke Pind Praan" is Guru Nanak's Bani which makes it clear that Sikh religion is distinct from other prevalent contemporary religions.

Non Sikhs often get confused when they compare Sikh Gurus with their own religious figures. The concept of 'Avtarvaad "is not there in Sikh religion because Sikhs believe that the' Creator' does not go through the cycle of life and death. The Creator is not born out of womb of any female. The concept of 'Prophet' is also not there in Sikh religion. Sikh Gurus are not mere messengers of the Creator. So no prophets in Sikh religion. GURU is sanskrit word for 'Sun' which is source of light and energy. So Sikh Gurus are not merely messengers rather they are messengers and source of enlightenment. Without Guru's Grace enlightenment cannot be attained. It's mentioned as "Gurprasad" in Mool Mantar.
As a Sikh I think this is my opinion.

Bro you're saying 'not mere messenger' which indicates that they were Messengers of god but also much more than that. Can you please refer the verse from Gurubani or some other authentic source where any Guru has referred himself or other guru as messenger of god?
Sorry to say but Sikhism do believe in Avtars. Guru Granth Sahib ji has many verses in relation to avtars of various yugas. Avtars are sargun saroop of waheguru.

First is that 4 sons which were killed by Wazir Khan of Sirhind were not Guru Tegh Bahadur ji’s sons but were of 10th Guru Gobind Singh ji’s kids. He did not call for MIRi PIRI out of anger and neither did Guru Gobind Singh ji. You cannot say for your convenience that Guru Nanak Dev Ji did not start a new religious path which he did and clearly stated it as well. I belong to Bhatia family from Chardah Punjab.The words you told in the end of Podcast are really true as we had heard from our Grandparents during our childhood.My maternal grandparents were from Lahore and my paternal grandparents were from Sialkot.They both were Bhatias.My paternal Grandparents were Saraf ,used deal with gold.How within a night they had to leave their haveli and how they threw all the sacks gold in a well in their home and came here.My grandfather along with some relatives went back to recover all the gold but the well was filled with dead bodies 😢

He seems to be young, very educated, very clear about each and every questions, Answering each question and diverting the each question towards islam is clearly visible in the conversation.
Forcing the hinduisim and sikhism to convert into islam was the main reason of begin with MIRI. Guru hargobind sahib ji was born warrior, he was tall and broad. This seems like a half-informed podcast. I admire the guest but there are many things he told about Gurus which are not factually sound. The martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur was a result of him raising his voice against forceful conversations of Kashmiri Pandits by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb and not some comic book's "Secret". Also, Akbar gifted land to Guru Amar Das's daughter (3rd Guru) or Guru Ramdas's wife (4th Guru). There are a few corrections the guest needs to make.

Granth Shahib is a compilation of words of truth and wisdom enabling a person to see through the existence , and brotherhood among all beings.
Rani Jindaan and Kharag Singh.
Kharak Singh in spite of being inefficient, first invited East India Company to play politics by appealing to them to help him in reaching the throne.
Secondly he ditched Dhian Singh duly appointed Prime minister by encouraging a fool and insignificant person Chet Singh Bajwa whereas Ranjit Singh and Rani asked them to take an oath of loyalty to each other. This Kharak Singh triggered a chain of intrigues.
Rani Jindaan through her tactics got Dhian Singh and Heera Singh assassinated. Both of these were highly competent and through their conviction against Britishers.
Then Rani appointed her brother Jawahar Singh as Prime minister. There is total consensus that he was the most useless person. Jindaan took this esteemed office of PM as a child s play and just to avenge the Khalsa Army appointed her closest Lal Singh and Teja Singh as PM and Army Commander. Both of them were known agents of East India Company and there are proofs to establish this.
Britishers were not afraid of Maharaja Ranjit Singh only who died in 1939, rather they waited for the assassination of Dogras Dhian Singh and Heera Singh. Prithi Singh Dogra fled away after taking revenge with Jawahar Singh. Britishers entered the war with Punjab just 3 months after the assassination of Heera Singh.
Traitor Lal Singh of first Anglo-Sikh war in 1845-1846 was non Punjabi who came from British India and became Sikh to join the army.
Punjabi living in Punjab before partition were divided on religious basis but living quite peacefully together. Partition on religious basis were the biggest cause of the division of the Punjabi nation.

1. BABAR comes to see Guru Nanak Dev ji where he imprisoned Guru Ji . He took blessings from Guru ji and released Him realising that Guru Ji is Divine Soul
2. Guru Nanak dev ji started institutional practices in KartarPur Sahib .
3. All Gurus Practiced Miri -Piri , just that first five Gurus used Pen Kalam instead of physical sword
4. Guru Nanak Dev ji believed in reincarnation and karma
5. Not only military practices were done , gurbani and bhakti has always been core in sikhi . 10th guru had 52 poets in His darbar , where music was created , poetry , Gurbani in different Raags along with Khalsa military practices

Guru Gobind Singh compiled more religious philosophical literature than rest of the Gurus. . He wrote Adi Granth (Sri Guru Granth Sahib) because original writings were stolen by some other people. But whole Guru Granth was in His memory word by word correctly. Also he was very expert in Shaashters and shashters. He went to rule the universe in the age of 42. During that period he fought 14 wars and also wrote dasam granth.

You were talking about the vengeance by the Gurus, vengeance in sikhism is especially in Gurbani is not allowed. Guru Gobind Singh didn’t took the vengeance of his four sons two of them were only six years and eight years old he still helped Aurangjeb son. Guru Har Gobind never had any vengeance ideas. He and Sikh army stayed with Jahangir with his army. They stayed together for sometime so don’t say that they were there for vengeance. Sikhism is beyond that. Sikhism talk about one God. they talk about that nobody is enemy they believe all are children of God, so everybody is one and same however they took those weapon just to protect them and their ideology. And Guru Nanak Sahib went everywhere. He went to East. He went to the temples, the Buddhist monks, and of course he went to Kaba and he went there not just because he was influenced by Quran. He went there because he wants to find spiritual people that’s why it doesn’t mean that if he went there he was influenced by Quran. He went everywhere else so this doesn’t mean that he was also influenced by all the Hindu temples or Buddhist temples.
Gurbani is like ocean it talks about one God in sikhsim. The Guru don’t say that they’re the prophet’s like others. Please have your fact check about sikhism please. The Adi Granth book of Sikhism only talks about one God they don’t talk about any rules, regulations and cultural rules or history or how many marriages you should do or how many wives or girlfriends you should have its peoples personal choice. Religion is about spiritualism about soul and God and how to merge with one. They are truly talking about the one and they are submitted to the one. At the last five gurus doesn’t stop talking about Gurbani because they took up the arms. There were many treacherous and greedy people Hindu and Sikhs , who wanted the throne for themselves, contributed to the end of Punjab, even though they had been given very generous wages and vast lands by Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Interestingly his Muslim advisers remained loyal to him and to his sons. Later these traitors, eg. the Dogra brothers..Gulab Singh who were Hindu's from Kashmir (they were not Sikhs) are credited to adding slow poison to the kings food and the causing the suspicious deaths of Maharaja Ranjit Singhs favorite and most capable sons after his death in1839.
The Empire became weak without strongh leadership and the squabbling, power struggle of these traitors weakened the Empire. The British had waited for this opportunity and were buying these traitors promising money, land and even the throne to them.
The army of Maharaja Ranjit Singh army made of Hindu, Muslim, Sikhs were still loyal to the King and his sons and it continued to fight against the British for another 10 yrs.

In fact Guru Gobind Singh created 5 Piaras at Anandpur Sahib and 4 sons who were killed by Wazir Khan were the sons of Guru Gobind Singh not Guru Teg Bahadur. Bhai jaan plz don't spread false history. 4 sahibzada's are son of Guru Gobind Singh ji not Guru Teg Bahadur ji. Plz use appropriate words, and pls read history again. Bcz you are confused with Gurus history and name. You are not using actual historical incidents. I used to listen to you a lot but after this. I think you should be more careful what words you are using and pls don't mix up history of gurus and their name.
