Raja Ram Mohan Roy: Launched a campaign against Sati Governor-General William Bentinck: Abolished the practice of Sati in 1829 so it is very hard to believe that ranjit singh's wife were in sati pratha

Didn’t expect largely a facts based presentation of the history of Maharaja Ranjit Singh by the Pakistani historian and his hugely secular and humanitarian approach in managing his vast kingdom. Pakistan probably is the only country in the world that iconises foreign invaders like the Babar /(his descendants ) of Uzbekistan or Nadir Shah / descendants of Iran. Christian France has been attacked multiple times by the Christian Germany, but France never ever iconised German invaders or Hitler.
