Maybe you should try Japanese sunscreen? Their sensitive sunscreens are quite gentle. Because when you mix anything with sunscreen, you compromise the film forming abilities and you don’t get the stated SPF. Also, you need a ton of foundation to get the stated SPF value. And there are some ingredients that can mess with sunscreen filters to make them less effective.

☀️ a sunscreen factoid sorry : I understand sensitivity is a huge issue for some so please do what you want and what keeps your skin happy , however … for those truly seeking adequate uvb/uva protection , this method will not protect you . The protection factor (spf) on foundations is hard to achieve on your skin because you would have to apply a shit ton of that foundation , and reapply every 2 hours if outdoors .. I get no one is doing that , but mixing sunscreen into another lotion is also a really easy way to not get any sun protection at all .
I can think of nothing worse than putting 6 layers of sunscreen on in a day especially when you wear makeup. That would ruin it. 🤮 I rather wear a hat and a mask in strong sun.
You don’t need to wear sunscreen on your face every single day. It’s good to get some daylight on your skin and sunscreen blocks d3 which is essential for us. If you’re not spending time in the sun, foundation blocks enough uv out for just running around. You say you understand sensitivity, then add a “but”, meaning you have no idea how toxic sun creams are to many people who break out, get rashes, eczema and even weird burn like marks. Far more damaging to the dermis than a bit of daylight.
@@Jessinkorea if you’re staying mostly indoors, you only need 1 layer. And I know it’s frustrating when sunscreen doesn’t work with makeup, but a lot of new Japanese and Korean sunscreen actually makes makeup look better.

The Supergoop one is the only one that has worked for me. It’s a chemical sunscreen but with the types of sunscreen that are on the cleaner side. Goes a little shiny but goes away after a while (or you can use setting powder)

Prescription skincare is THE BEST. A few years ago clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide completely cleared my acne, it came back about 5 years later and now I’m on prescription retinol and literally just a week into using it I see a noticeable difference. Prescription makes such a huge difference unlike the $100s I’ve spent on other skincare
Clindamycin is antibiotics, so unless you want to develop antibiotics resistance you should use it together with something like benzoyl peroxide that keeps it from happening.
As someone who also uses clindamycin prescribed from my derm, this is very true! I use a benzoyl peroxide wash every two days to prevent antibiotic resistance
I'm 57 and my skincare routine is cleanser followed by moisturizer. I really dont have wrinkles except for. a few light forehead lines. I think most of the stuff pushed these days is a money grab unless you are using a product to treat acne. If all these products did what they claim - all these celebs using the most expensive serums and creams who also get regular facials, peels, etc wouldnt need to keep getting brow and face lifts.
People, you absolutely DO need to use a separate sunscreen as mixing with lotion degrades the SPF and also the amount of foundation used is just not enough to provide the right SPF.
No, you don’t. I don’t know who came up with this idea that you must slather on sunblock every day even though it’s winter and you’re indoors. We actually need vitamin d to penetrate the skin which it can’t do if you’re covered in sun cream. Separately, that stuff has a lot of chemicals in it and your skin absorbs all this into the blood stream.

Tbh I was waited for this vid because I wanted to know how you got your skin to shine like that 🤩
Sharing a skin care routine nd ending with "good luck" is such a mood 😅
the thanking the 10 yr olds is so real😭
@@Hit_Me_Up_Official_Haley_Kalil i’m confused
Korean skin care brand Sidmool is very good for sensitive skin. I spent my whole life without sunscreen for same reason but then I found out all my sensitive skin friend were using it so I have been using it since. The website looks like scam but it is the right website. I am telling this honestly no scam or promoting anything I just think it is a life savor for me and fellow sensitive skin people in Korea. This brand is the one that started "good and healthy ingredients for skincare products" trend in cosmetic industry in S korea.
The way my jaw dropped when u said u were 31-

I WAS MANIFESTING FOR THIS OMG IVE WANTING THIS FOR SO LONG
my skincare routine is genetics. I never really got the fascination with skincare routings because unless we have the exact same skin type it's not gonna give you the same results
tip: do NOT rub your hands together when doing skincare unless its a cleaner and whatever, because a whole lot of it will stay on your hands (serums, sunscreen, etc)
this is no hate i just hope it helps anyone
The way she thanked the 10 years old 😅

The real key to your skincare is the red light therapy panel behind you.
