Man that was a great win for Tony and the boys. But this win came with a high price when Hunter got injured. Hunter was never 100% for the rest of the season, and ultimately lead him to not being able to play in the NCAA tournament. The Cavs offense and defense was built around Hunter, and when he went out of action just before the start of the tournament it set Virginia up to lose to UMBC. We all saw just how effective Virginia was with a healthy Hunter when in 2019 Tony and the Cavs caught fire and made a deep run to the NCAA Championship. Which they also ended up winning, and redeeming themselves.

@Lover of History Hunter was the NCAA Defensive Player Of the Year in 2019. Malcolm Brogdon was DPOY in 2016. Tony gets the good defensive players.
