Welcome back my loves and Happy Black History Month! ❤️🖤💚
It’s been a minute-how have you been? January 2025 felt like it was six months long, but we made it! In this week’s vlog, I’m recapping everything I got up to last month-from cozy winter nesting to finally getting back outside after the LA fires.
One of the highlights? Checking out Issa Rae’s new restaurant, Somerville (obsessed-definitely going back!). I also reconnected with old friends and made new ones at a vision board party, had a late-night coffee run with my friend Chia, and got nostalgic watching football with friends from my early LA days. Most importantly, I poured into myself-prioritizing rest, mental health, and Black joy as a form of resistance in these heavy times.
This vlog is full of “get dressed with me” moments, life updates, and all the random stuff I needed to get off my chest!
February is Black History Month and I’m planning to immerse myself in Black culture-think museums, books, social events, and more. Can’t wait to take you along for the ride!
