Why is there so much pain and hope expressed in the Psalms both at the same time?
If the Psalmists were convinced that God cares, why would there be so much laments and despair in the Psalms, for instance, Ps. 43.3; Ps. 88.14?
How can the use of imagery, from biblical times, supposed to relate to us as Christians today, in the context of God’s care for us?
Could you give us an example of that connection?

Amen. So comforting to know that God reigns or rules from His sanctuary in Heaven where He oversees His saving work of the restoration of humankind. Every action on our behalf is for the purpose of restoration whether it be in the physical, mental, spiritual or emotional arena. Zion and the earthly sanctuary were symbolic of this Heavenly sanctuary. We praise Him that He and He alone is fit to rule the Universe's throne. Let EVERYone who lives reserve their truest praise for God and God alone.
