Thank you Shane and Audioquest for this product. Looks like a great combination of practical design, balanced number of sockets, and prices. The 707 is the one and for me and while personally its a little high, its not outside of achievable. Unlike some other products that are sooooooooo out of my range in the thousands of $. The 707 could see me pull the extra shift here or there to obtain one.

Amir takes all the joy out being an audiophile and his sheep just regurgitate whatever he says without question. Some things can't be measured. I put a power/line conditioner on a system years ago in a home with shotty electrical and it cleaned up the sound, bass got tighter, mids and treble became more clear. I would regularly show people the difference as I plugged my system into the wall and into the conditioner and everyone noticed the difference. Amir can't reproduce every situation.

You showed us device that picks up signal (EMI) of certain radio station because cables in walls are acting as radio antenna, right? However, you forget that radio frequencies range is 88-108MHz while what we hear is 20Hz - 20KHz. Mega vs. kilo! Ring a bell??
100$ made in China device you used transformed that picked up signal in MHz range into audiable sound that is amplified (in this case to max.) in order to be heared like any pocket radio would do.
You proved that PowerQuest 707 filters that signal and that's fine.
However, be kind and tell me what that tiny signal has to do with electric current flow in power cable and how our gear performs, based on some proper measurements, shown in comparison graph, table or anything concrete.
Also be kind and tell can that tiny signal somehow disturb 110/220v current flow in cables so our gear perform worse and exactly how. As we all know our gear works on electric current, not on any kind of signals or noise.
Answering those questions will show are there reasons for buying 1300$ power conditioner (noise filter) from AudioQuest.

Amir has tested several power conditioners. Several of which did indeed reduce noise in the AC power.
However, no testing done or measurements shown indicated a change in noise or output from the attached equipment, which I think is much more relevant than whether you can prove mains-lines pick up noise that you can filter out externally. Your equipment does this perfectly fine by itself.

conditioners put series inductance in the path of the AC current. This can definitely impact the di/dt of the current, which reduces transient current to the device. The result of this is usually reduced dynamics, particularly high frequency.

Hey Shane - QQ: when you tested the line noise on the powerquest 707, did you let the unit burn in? If so, for how long before you tested the line noise? I ask because I got the powerquest 707 (from Crutchfield) a few days ago, and as soon as I plugged it into the wall, I got no decrease in the line noise from the back of the unit. I used the exact same line noise analyzer as yours.

Without mains power, no audio or audio visual component can function. Your musical enjoyment is reduced by mains noise contamination .. this can be from either differential or common mode means noise. Differential noise is created by the power supplies in all electrical devices, while Common Mode noise is introduced by RFI and the wireless communications that are becoming increasingly Common. Since my purchase of an audiophile grade power conditioner my system has significantly better sound quality with more detail and greater dynamic range.
