Meat hook is the absolute truth it's won me my last 3 boros matchups including one where I had to cast it for zero in an extreme mana screw and it let me grind my way to victory by the skin of my teeth, Gracias for your continued innovations Mr. Meat!
The card quality overall in this list is better I feel as well. Would much rather have access to Agatha and 4 copies of Grist, than some combination of borderline 3 drops to help Ritual like Woe Strider, Eternal Witness, Geralf's Messenger, etc... Combo is more streamlined as well with Zulaport/Blood Artist instead of having to allocate several slots with Innkeeepers and Marionettes. Keep up the good work bro!
I honestly like this version more. I had a lot of my creatures removed so I could not use Birthing Ritual or Nightmare as much as I wanted to. Rumble seems to speed up the speed of the combo post-mh3.
What would the sideboard ins and outs be if you went against something like Pox? I imagine it would be something similar vs Scam? -3x Chord of Calling +Reclamation Sage +Force of Vigor +??? Something else? Would you bring in Thoughtseizes? Anything else dead in the matchup to take out?
Yeah that sounds about right. Maybe just minus 1-2 chord and take out like a wall. I wouldn't bring in TS. Just try to keep a decent 7 and avoid mulling if you can
@@meatmtg I found it, its a video by controldaze, where he learn 9 combo interactions. Thank you for your videos, I will try the pre MH3 list with cauldron and grist and without rumble, lets ser how it goes.
You put a -0/-1 counter on Wolf with Wall's ability, then you use Walking Ballista's ability to remove a +1/+1 counter and ping the OP. State based actions are checked and the wolf dies without a +1/+1 counter on it, meaning it comes back with its undying trigger. So basically I can make infinite green mana and have infinite damage this way 🕺
@@meatmtg ahhhh. I knew that but couldn't imagine it in my head. So, you on Cauldron or Ritual? I ask because I'm interested in playing Yawg at my LGS and maybe some RCQs.
With Cauldron, creatures that ETB with counters on them are supreme. In this regard, if you choose for MA to do so, it only comes as 1 body as opposed to 2 for Bowman. Also, with all the incidental card draw, AND bowman allowing you to play at instant speed, AND killing their bowman, I don't think that's the slot MA should be vying for.
@jasonsim4474 yeah this occurred to me as well. Plus having main board ways to deal with things like ocelot pride. I understand why bowmasters is good, im wondering if it's just my local meta is what's making me feel like they might be cutable. Plus it sounds nice having additional avenues of drain.
I was in the livestream, it was worth every single second of my time❤❤

Super sick! Card is good! 🕺🕺
AWWW YEAH LETS GO BABY! Playing Yawg for the first time in an RCQ this weekend, been binging your vids to prep so love seeing a new one!
I was thinking of selling my Yawgmoth deck after MH3. Your videos keep me in it 🙌🏻
These videos are super enjoyable man, appreciate the content and hope the best for your job hunt!

I think I’m gonna try the rumble version as well, I haven’t enjoyed the all in feeling from birthing ritual all that much
Super nice line in Game 2 with Boseiju, god damn.
Cool meat

Where can I find the combo interactions with ballista? I need to learn all of them.
I thought there was a video on it but I can't find it..

Omg if we get future sight yawg…
Ok, I need to understand what happened game 1 match 1. How would we win?

What version do you like more actually? The ritual version ou rumble version?
I like Rumble more rn 🕺
@@meatmtg how is the energy matchup between the 2 versions? personally ive had good luck with the ritual version finding me the combo pieces.
@@claytonheuser7753 I've liked rumble bc of meathook
Against FrogAsmo, couldn't you have Chorded for Ballista instead of Zulaport to kill him? Wall of Roots was under the Cauldron already.
Correct! Missed it 🕺
Have you tried Wight of the Reliquary?
Its slow
I have, but it isn't the best in our shell. I like the card a lot though!
Where's the patreon link for us youtube scrubs :D
Added to the description!
Thoughts on 4 marionettes over 4 bowmasters?
Bowmasters too good to cut entirely
