    Can somebody please tell me how to NOT zero-gap the Wahl T-Wide blades? I would like to know how to put a normal, slight gap on these blades. I have very sensitive skin, so a normal, slightly separated T-Wide (or any) blade is perfect.
    If I'm not mistaken, I remember a yt vid where a guy takes a trimmer blade set to a mirror and pushes it straight down on the mirror and continues to push with light pressure while placing it at an angle causing a slight gap in the blades. It might seem like I have no trouble recalling the vid, but it's so vague that I would need to watch it again to do it correctly. And that's if the memory I'm recalling isn't confabulation, lol.

    • @laurentiumatei111

      My Wahl trimmer came with a special tool to adjust the blades. If you don t have that tool, you’ll have to loose a little those two yellow screws and lower the moving blade with 0.2 mm below the fixed one using your eyes amd fingers.. so, MANUALLY. Its not really hard, i’ve did it in 5 min;).
      Good luck!

    • @WAHLClippersEurope
      @WAHLClippersEurope  6 лет назад

      Well, possible reasons for your issue are: Rust, Dirt or missing blade care. How often have you oiled it? My sugestion, put your screws back on, oil it propperly, let the blade run for a while, oil it again, unscrew the blade and try to pull as hard as possible. You should also consider to get yourself a new bladeset.
      To avoid this kind of problems, oil the blade after each cut.
      I hope this will help.

      Because you can clearly see in the still image after adjusting that the smaller moving blade is completely and outrageously crooked. And zero gapping blades are never actually 0 overlap, that would cut the skin on any human being. The smaller, lower blade should be just a hair shorter than the top stationary blade.
