      IMO, misogyny is often a big role in these types of cases. Women absolutely can and do these awful things, and can match the brutality of men, but never the same numbers. Unfortunately, men kill women in much greater numbers than vice versa. The fact that so many cultures globally have taught men that women are their property, IMO, is a major factor in the entitlement they feel in taking the lives of their partners…the parents can’t fathom their child doing this, and of course their fear what this says about their parenting (and often they worry what their friends/neighbors/coworkers etc will say). Misogyny is bad for everyone, men/women/etc alike😢

    The fact that his parents lied to defend him is a huge part of the problem. Making excuses and not acknowledging bad behavior encourages more bad behavior.

      It's always "mummy's best boy's" that grow up to be entitled and lack respect for other women whom they expect to treat like crap because mummy thought no girl was ever going to be good enough for her faultless son! A lot of mothers who are like that often compete with every gf for her son's love and attention, thus the son respects no woman other than his mum. Sick, but I've witnessed this many times throughout my life thus far, and I'm not that old!

      @elishh8173 9 месяцев назад

      I agree. I'm starting to think people are born inherently evil.
      When they're babies they have a behaviour that makes adults want to take care of them, but it's more like a parasite.
      As they get older you see they have no moral or real kindness.
      Then they grow up to the everyday evil people we see every day.
      And you might say "but not all people are evil!!"
      Yes the majority are. They only care about themselves and very very few have a truly kind innocent heart.
      I'm sick of humans and I'm considering unaliving myself.
      I guess I'm just a pussy who's too scared otherwise I'd already done it along time ago.
      Also many men think women have some kind of advantages in life.
      That's so not true.
      Except I've been raped by one man and gang raped by many men. And I'm a woman.
      I've had enough of this evil devil's playground we call earth.
      It's so painful because I can't even find a religion that would help me because all religions are for men and are misogynistic aka hating women.
      Anyway I had enough and I'm not scared of unaliving myself. I will do it.

    Despite how mental and morbid the topics are, it never ceases to amaze me how respectful and courteous adrian is towards the case. He handles and understand the seriousness and the depravity that comes from the subject matter and doesn't dramatise things for no reason. I honestly recommended CHC to my older sister and friends that also are interested in true crime. Great work as always, Adrian ^^

    I feel so sad listening to this-Jasmeen was so excited to have a wonderful adventure, and she had a powerful loving heart, devoting herself to caring for others as a nurse. She deserved so much better. Thank you for sharing this story in a way that allows us to see Jasmeen as more than a victim. It’s important that she is remembered for who she was, and that the tragic circumstances of her death do not completely overshadow the rest of her life. The way she died should not be the only thing the public knows about her-she should not be reduced to the actions of a depraved mind against her. She was a beautiful young woman who had a living family, and great career, and many prospects in life.🙏💔💕
