This video is amazing! I bought Grand Mariner last year to make some chocolate truffles and completely forgot that I had it until recently. It tastes amazing “neat”, but I wanted to learn more about how it could be used…. Your tutorial does not disappoint! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and passion with us. I say “Grand Marnier” instead of “Good Morning!” Sometimes…when it’s apropos.

Love the versatility of Grand Marnier. I use it to flavour Crème Brûlée so good.

Agreed! I think its image is so “fancy” that people forget that it’s like a proprietary Orange Curaçao and should be used more in mixing.

Grand Marnier is one of those liquors that Ive always seen at the liquor store and bars, but never known what to do with it. I'll have to pick up a bottle to try these recipes. Also, Ive always thought it was Grand MARINER lol I never read the label closely enough

If you’re referring to the product at minute 16 it’s angostura bitters, which I then transferred into a bitters bottle. Both items are available through Amazon.

For the Manhattan, would you still use the Grand Marnier as an accent for a Rye whiskey instead of a Bourbon? Thanks for coming to the Crescent School the other day!

I absolutely would! It would still work lovely and would be a touch more Spicy perhaps. Welcome to the channel!

The inefficiency when making the cocktails is killing me. Everything was on different sides of the table, nothing prepared or laid out, and picking ice cubes one by one.
