- Back at Truck Fest Trencin, Matej of M&I Autotransport gave me a ride in his 480hp Mercedes-Benz Actros (MP4 or MP5?) which has recently been upgraded with a 11.5m-long FKM loud pipes exhaust system. If this system wouldn't be crazy enough, the truck also has a jake brake system, so it can go really loud! Especially for a straight six cylinder engine!

When the american trucks are the best in the Jake Brake theme. But in the european trucks are a mystery very hard to capture since the first moment.
Volvo and Mercedes-Benz had it, and now Scania also has something similar.😄

@@randyblackwell5016 If you mean "Jake Brake" to the "Retarder", I think that if you put a modified exhaust, apart from making it roar more when you reach RPM's, it also increases the sound of the "Retarder"/"Jake Brake".

You said "MP4 or MP5?" in the description so I just wanted to let you know that it is an MP4, because the MP4 still has normal gauges and the MP4 has a flat screen as the gauges and everything.

@@zivaTARY Yeah the MP5 is a very subtle facelift basically
@@epeli4585 it's an MP4, u can see that to the steering wheel! But Mp5 can also got a standard gauge and physical mirrors too, it's called "classic cockpit" for the dashbord with gauge , and "advanced cockpit" for the screen tab interior.
From exterior, the mp5 got only a new headlight with DRL integrated. Mechanical are the big change, new gearbox program, new euro6.2 norm, new exhaust system, new dash program and implementation of the mercedes PPC with automatic cruise control for the curve and road relief.

Truck sounds so good and is so wrong but right at the same time😂 but end of the day it’ll never beat the Americans engine brake sounds

They DO have jakes, just like Volvo and recently Scania too. ✌🏻😁

Igen, már más is írta az MP4-et. Aztán hogy kinek mi az erőltetés, az relatív, nekem tetszik, a tulajnak tetszik. 😄 Ha esetleg nem úgy hallgattad volna, akkor javaslom egy normális fülessel, vagy még inkább megfelelő hangfalszetten, a mélyekkel együtt azért reálisabb képet fogsz kapni. 😉 Ha még ezután sem tetszik, akkor ez van, nem mindenkinek tetszhet ugyanaz. 🙈

Sorry i like Mercedes but i dont want to drive this Mercedes. The Jakebrake while driving is annoying. Openpipe Sound yes but without the Jakebrake...
