Ohh what great finds . Think Susanna’s doll is a little cutie … Pollyanna … I’m off to a big charity shop later today (Saturday) hope I can find some lovely bits like you girls found xx
Oh wow! Enjoy
@@tobelovedtreasuresbycorrine didn’t find a thing ☹️ .
Wow what an awesome market & so nuch fun with a friend, especially a like minded friend 😃😃
Your doll reminds me of one I had but mine had a plastic face.
I do like Sweet pea as suggested 💗
Hi. You two got some beautiful things. Love, love, love all the laces. Susanna’s baby doll looks very neglected. It’s a good thing she adopted the poor little thing I’m looking forward to seeing her once Susanna has performed a miracle on her. I’m sure she will be looking so sweet when Susanna is finished with her. When you asked for name suggestions, the first thing that came to mind was Sugar Baby. That’s what I call my sweet granddaughter. Loved the little clip at the end. Looks like a great place to shop. ❤️💕🙂
Susanna will love her.. she is safe!
Round wooden clothes pins. Amazon has a good selection.
Just a fun day you guys had, everything you got is so lovely!
Great video !!! Nice to have a friend to shop with. Thanks for taking us along 🧵🪡♥️. I think Dolly is a great name, I’m sure she will be a wonderful treasure when she’s all restored !!!
I think so too! Lovely girls day out!
Loved watching you two together. You remind me of sisters! I can just see you both strolling through the market. So glad you got to visit!
Thank you so much!!
You've have a great time together!! Everything you got is so special! My name for the sweet doll is Penelope😅
TFS ❤you are lovely!
Oh like that name!!
Doll - Dolly? How fun to go shopping with a friend.
WOW i would have broken my bank balance. lol what a fun time you both had. Love all the goodies you both got and the doll well she looks a lot like one my sis
had way back in the day, her name was jemima. Thanks for sharing your awesome hauls. Hugs from over the Ditch xox
It was hard to hold back!! It’s on 4 times a year.. I only go once. Too dangerous on the wallet!
The dolls name has to be Orphan Annie! Looks like a great market!
Very good suggestion
I'm from a small town in southeast Ks. I love your channel. I'm 67 years old and I am making slow stitched blocks from old lace, tatting, quilt pieces, hankies, doilies and unused depression Era printed feed and flour sacks. All are treasures that I have from family. Wish you could see some of the treasures you can still find at the thrift shops here in Kansas!
Wow, aren't you lucky! I've heard that prices in thrift shops have gone up just like everything else. I'm on the west coast and can't go to the thrift shops anymore. I bet you find more goodies in your location than I could find here.
Wow.. one day I will get there and travel USA. Can’t wait
Love fruit cake as much as I love tins. Those clothes pins are also hard to find in Canada. Had a picture of an assortment of old pins and can't find it now. Love bits and bobs. I have an old cigar box that mom stored her things in. I haven't used it all. It is great to feast the eyes, brings back so many memories. For the tin bottom use a piece of an acid free box to line it. I like the dutch stitching.but of course I a little Dutch. Doll use a dutch hat to hide the back of head. Give her a proer apron and a recipe for specalass kriden cookies to use your rolling pin. Call her Willamina. Oh I loved all your treasures. Don't forget a pair of clogs to keep the dutch theme.
Thanks so much for your comments and watching., pleased it brought back memories for you!
You girls have had a ball!! 😁😁 what a fantastic haul. That tablecloth in the cake tin looked very “Autumn”. Maybe extras for your Autumn panel???
Fabulous tin! I love tins for storing my stuff in. My mother used to make a fruitcake during the Christmas season - early, because it had to soak in brandy (or something) for weeks. It doesn't have a good reputation here in the States, but I loved it. I find myself using the tiny laces more than the larger patterns too. And oh, the spindles! Love the sheet or whatever that was with the roses on it. I'm glad the doll will be getting a wash and brush up. I'd call her Sweet Annie. 😊
Nothing better than a good tin.. love the name!
You both found lovely things! Love the doll, you should give her a Dutch name 😉
Ah great idea.. over too you Susanna!
Love, love, love all your finds…may I ask how much you got the spindles? One piece ? And are you gonna put them in your shop??? I would love to have 1 🥰 Thanks for this video
I believe from memory they were $22 each. I don’t plan to sell them at this stage.. I think they will be a project kit in the future.. one day!
@@tobelovedtreasuresbycorrine Thanks for replying! Will be waiting for the “Kitting” then…one day! That’ll be awesome🥰
That doll of Susanna’s should be named Audrey! Sounds like you guys had great fun, I’d love to spend a day with the two of you!
It was a lovely day out!
