Dear Sarah, I'm so thankful for the conversation shared between you and Corinne. It was quite insightful and very inspiring. I've been lusting after sheepy wool lately, especially now that the weather has cooled down & hope to give some new yarns a try. Lopi has been on my wish list for many years.. maybe now is the time I give it a try. Thank you to your contribution to our wonderful knitting community. Sending a ton of love! 💗💗💗- River
Such fun! I'm knitting with a cone of Frangipani from TWT right now and live watching the podcasts from both you and Corinne. What a special friendship and beautiful creations from each of you!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful, soulful conversation with Corinne. It was lovely to "join" you through your video and share in the kinship and love of wool. Looking forward to seeing the beautiful colours you picked out for your Agnes sweater (I might have gone ahead and purchased the Wiola e-book in anticipation of a Wiola-along)
Thank you so much for sharing with us your conversation with Corinne about our favorite subject! A total delight listening to kindred spirits chat about what makes me tick. All the best……
This was such a delightful episode. I loved your chat with Corinne and how much joy and passion you two have for all things woolly. You color combinations are stunning. Happy knitting 💚🧶💚
Thanks for this woolly and friendship content, it was a pleasure to watch. I love your video of the Northen Lights, you can be proud you did a great job !!!
Sarah, thanks for articulating those connections we have through textile work, “travel through knitting”, and the sensory experiences and connections to people and place we have that are associated with it. I find my work the same, especially when knitting and working with fleece, that it brings me back to close connection with the earth, and nature, places, even the smells of the fleece, and the finished wool yarns, and also to my connection to my own heritage and family members who also were knitters, sewists, back in a time when people were much more dependent on having these skills to make the things they needed in their daily lives. It is so gratifying, and much of the reason I create, in addition to the complete escapism and relaxation to be found in our artistic pursuits! Lovely episode!
It does bring that close connection to the earth doesn't it. I knew when Corinne started the conversation this was the perfect interview to share with the vlog audience cause everyone would be able to relate ;)
always lovely to see you. We had the same kind of reaction to the northern lights possibilities. . . Spencer shot them overnight and it was just amazing. Good work! Love your sweaters, as always :)
So wonderful to meet you at WT and up at Savage Heart. (I was the one who swooned...) ;-) I love your videos, your thoughtful reflections-- on your own and with others. Have a great time at Rhinebeck... Safe travels.
I enjoyed this so much. It was lovely seeing Corinne. I wish the feeling of meeting with like minded people, the excitement and the soulful connection, could be bottled so that we could dip in and have a little taste of it when we are not together and need that connection.
I enjoyed your chat so much! I’ll be at Rhinebeck on Saturday I’m sure I’ll be stopping by Tidal yarns. Her yarn is beautiful and as a fellow CT’er I have a special place in my stash for her yarns!
Ah, thank you! It was good fun even if only brief. It's probably the hardest thing about festivals for me the "busy" nature makes it hard to sit down and have a good ol' chat. It looks like you had a nice time with Paige and Rachel!
So excited to be coming to Rhinebeck after missing the last several years. Hope to see you while there on Sunday. I definitely want to pick up a sweater kit from Tidal Yarns. I love her patterns.
Hi Sarah…I really enjoyed seeing your visit with Corrine and hearing about your woolly weekend. I think I’ll make a trip to the Woolly Thistle…it’s not that far from us here in mid coast Maine and I’m sure I could easily convince some friends to ride along. If you do a knit along for the Agnes sweater, I’ll probably join in. It will be my first knit-along
Thank you for the beautiful episode! I can’t seem to find the viola designs pattern or book anywhere. Is it possible to post a link to the right place (I might have missed it?) thanks!

What a lovely episode. I love hearing this history. Isn't it amazing how wool brings people together?! I have also "found my people"!
Thank you . Nice video.
It’s so nice to watch two people have such a deep conversation about fiber and knitting. 🧶

You won't be disappointed! I will give plenty of lead time on the KAL so you can get to TWT and maybe get yourself some Rauma FInull.
Absolutely loved this episode! What an inspiring interview with Corinne! ❤ Looking forward to seeing your VT sheep and wool goodies.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for the beautiful episode! I can’t seem to find the viola designs pattern or book anywhere. Is it possible to post a link to the right place (I might have missed it?) thanks!
Have you heard the news about New Lanark Mill!!!
Lovely episode! What sweater pattern are you wearing in your interview with Corrine? It is beautiful.
Oh, roots and shoots! I should have been more patient. ❤
well we just get excited don't we! I knit mine in Nutiden and knitting for olive silk/mohair. It does have a lovely feel
What is the Gotland lace color? I love the effect
Sarah go with your gut! If it’s keeping up at night frog it and do something different.
Right!!! It's currently growing me though...
I'm not sure what the color is called. I picked it up Edinburgh Yarn Festival eons ago.
Cool. I really enjoy your videos. I live in northern Wisconsin on a lake. I totally relate to your live style.
