    Hi, Big buddy. Craig Beale here. I have been a catapult lover from a kid with a lot of hunting experience since I was a kid, like living on the wild side of life. I just love your enthusiasm and the way you keep people updated about catapults. All the best. Will keep looking forward to more of your videos. TTFN. CHEERS

    I lovee this video. It's so cool to see your journey.
    Have you ever tried the slant roller? I would imagine it's quite similar to your apex plus in hand feel.

      I checked it out because there's a clipped version but the 88mm frame width isn't for me, I'm really a 95mm guy these days and trying to stay there to get my accuracy better. Right now I'm deeply in love with the GZK GAL, the Hegarty Esus and the Simpleshot Axiom X....but the king is still the Evo, but these others come damn close. Thanks so much for watching, I need to post a 'top frames' video for December...

I love them both... go with his 275 lb paracord series... so much nicer in hand... i own quite a few frames even the Proshot ppmg+pro and the titans are far and away my favorite because of how crisp his fork tips are he has it right....

      I started with a Black Widow something like 40 years ago!! They're okay but slings in general have come a LOOONG way since then...it's a classic design but flat bands tend to be much better

    You should absolutely get an OTT Titanhunter and/or Companion to add to your collection! The medium Titanhunter and S90 are both 90mm wide; there’s not much difference between the two. The Companion is also 90mm wide, but it’s designed for a higher brace, which aids in accuracy IMHO. For that reason, the Companion is my favorite Catapult Carnage model! Anyway, great video and review and happy shooting!

      Thanks so much. I've recently fallen head over heels in love with the Evo Field Pro, so my anchor point is now 95mm (great for Evo and Apex+, not good for everything else!!). I definitely 100% need to get the M95....

    SUBBED! great vid. I was super surprised by the bswan as well. I used the bswan and the gasser at ECST this year and they did not disappoint. I let myself down during the knockdowns but that's another story. I have a hdpe of the spitfire but a good custom spitfire is next on my list to purchase. Currently the Gasser and the Saker are on my best of the best list.

    • @WildandWiredUK
      @WildandWiredUK  6 месяцев назад

      Thanks bro, I'll give it a shot. Do you aim off the inner fork point or the outer? I just got an Evo and I've moved my anchor point to 95mm because of both the Evo and the Apex!! I think it's a better anchor point too, more repeatable on my face. Sloped tips are so much win, I'd love the Apex to have more pronounced tips...

    • @ATOMark
      @ATOMark 6 месяцев назад

      @WildandWiredUK I aim from where the bands meet the clip. When you point you will only see one point if I am understanding what you are asking.

    For the B-Swan, I ordered a left-handed model and hold it with my left hand, chunky side up which seems to me to be the way it was meant. However the taper on the fork tip is such that the fork side closest to me is longer than the fork side closer to the target, which means that if I push my wrist forward, the taper will be digging into the band rather than aligning it straight. Is that how your fork is tapered also? Seems to me like they have it backwards and are mixed up about their left and right. Anyway I would suggest anyone to order the version opposite of your holding hand

    • @WildandWiredUK
      @WildandWiredUK  6 месяцев назад

      Thanks so much for this George. I'll go out and have a try now. My plan was to buy a proper official right hander from Snipersling to know for sure, but the truth is that I don't think it has any impact on performance at all. My bands aren't slipping or breaking anywhere near the forks, always at the pouch end. It just works!! BUT...I need to know and for 30 dollars, it's not an expensive way to find out...

    • @WildandWiredUK
      @WildandWiredUK  6 месяцев назад

      p.s. Yes, my forks are higher shooter side, so the 'slanted tips' go the wrong way, but it doesn't seem to have any affect on performance that I can see...

    • @georgexhiu
      @georgexhiu 6 месяцев назад

      @@WildandWiredUK Yeah it's weird I'm not even sure what the intention is with the slope. Do they want a forward wrist to dig in the band and stretch it more for speed even though the fork edge then becomes misaligned with the line of sight or do they want a forward pushed wrist to bring the fork edge correctly aligned with the line of sight? I analyzed Ming's youtube video from snipersling in slow-,mo and at first when he is explaining the slope and fooling around with the frame, he pushes his wrist forward with the LONGER taper side facing the target but at the end of the video when he opens his hand to show the frame, it shows that he was shooting chunky side up with the SHORTER fork side facing the target. Would be nice if they clarified this point.

    What about the Evo Ergo or the Evo Goblet?

    • @WildandWiredUK
      @WildandWiredUK  4 месяца назад

      I have the 85mm goblet and it's just too small for my hands, plus I hate wrap and tuck, so I think I'd enjoy it more if it was clipped. Never tried the ergo...mainly because it isn't clipped either...

    Why dont people use slingshots with rounded rubber bands, I have seen people use only flat rubber bands in all the videos, may I know why is it that way

    • @WildandWiredUK
      @WildandWiredUK  6 месяцев назад +1

      I think flat bands are better for accuracy and aiming but round tubes are much quicker to reload and are used for speed shooting more (the pouch doesn't flip over like it does with flat bands)
