My thoughts exactly. Even the music has a Otis Redding flavor. Yes, he does move like Joe Cocker.

Great reaction. Thank you. If you want to experience the Teskey Brothers connecting with the audience and with a full band, you should watch the Hold Me video live at The Forum. You won't be disappointed.

He is a person of color singing, his color just happens to be white... lol . I'm half black and white so no side picking favorites. I have the best of both worlds. I love this group.

So happy you mentioned Sam. I've always thought that, with a touch of Otis, but it's all natural.
We lost a wonder of the world when Sam left us.

Different strokes,...It doesn't bother me his eyes being closed singing soul that I can feel. And not having the band with him in this performance made me focus on Josh singing without being distracted by seeing the band members. It was that video of Josh Teskey that made him my favorite singer 3yrs. ago.

I usually I don't comment, but as a fan of music period, this is so soulful. Take a listen to the Teskey Bros singing there song What will be & Hold on live. Nice treat.

Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding, Ray Charles the flow is so similar even his vocal inflections and pauses are very familiar to those gentleman I mentioned.

Could you check out Jimmy Barnes and Same Moore singing Soothe Me. Yes, this is Sam from Sam and Dave, and he was 86 years old, and Jimmy was 66. Their voices are incredible. Jimmy is one of the 2 biggest and best singers in Australia, and I guarantee you will love his voice.
