    There was so much in this video that I could really relate to. Challenging yourself to shoot in familiar place, and also seeing something that you really like the look of, but not knowing if you can really do it justice with your photography. Really good video. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Awesome video as always. I envy your local area, so awesome nature compared to mine.
    Almost did the same thing like you did geting stuck in mud, was trying to get closer to two white-tailed eagles sitting on rocks at a mire. Walked zig zag towards them and a small path of water crossed infront of me, I just went for it and tried to jump over. Jokes on me the edges were not compact at all, one of my shoes got stuck behind and i got all muddy to my knee on the other side. Luckily camera didn't get any on it.

    I just visited your website. Nice portfolio.
    The FZ200 is pretty popular bridge.
    Wondering if the company will upgrade it, a FZ200MII, now we have the #FZ1000MII?

    Oh lalaaa, thanks much for the review. Im planning to buy this one go add to my G7 panasonic. How do you rate Fz2000 for weather sealing n handli g.

      My advice is to always treat consumer cameras as consumer cameras. Unless the manufacturer states it is weather sealed - use with care.

    i need advice pls im mainly going to be shooting videos so which camera would you recommend between the g85 or the FZ2000 ?please advise that would be greatly appreciated thanks

      You have chosen two very different cameras. One is an interchangeable lens system (g85) primarily for photography, the other, the FZ2000 is more of a dedicated all in one package designed for video (it's like a GH4 with a 1 inch sensor in a bridge camera form factor). I don't know what type of video work you need to do, and I can't give you advice on which camera to chose - YOU have to be the one to make that decision based on what your needs are. My only advice is that you should read multiple reviews from other sources before making a decision. If you need a camera with interchangeable lenses to shoot video then the FZ2000 isn't for you. If you need a small compact all in one system for run and gun shooting then the FZ2000 MIGHT be an option for you. Good luck.

    And what camera did you shoot when you're in the picture together with FZ2000?

    I like your shots very much! :) Can I ask, what settings do you use for your videos? The Mov or the MP4? Because I believe some of these are destroyed by youtube, but yours seem perfect! :) Thanks!

      You are right quality can vary. I tend to use mov settings to record in. Thanks for the comment!

      Thank you! There are so many options and settings, it feels like I'm trying to control a submarine. Again, thanks for the tip! :)

    I can work professionally with this camera or I need a reflex?

    • @JonBryantPhotography
      @JonBryantPhotography  7 лет назад +1

      I do not understand your question. Define "professional"? If professional photography means you earn money from photography, it doesn't matter which camera you use!

    I have this camera and the current version of Lightroom (or ACR) will not import the RAW files. You mentioned in the video (5m 00s) using Lightroom to choose your shots. How are you doing that?

    • @JonBryantPhotography
      @JonBryantPhotography  7 лет назад

      Hi Daniel, good question. Yes LR currently doesn't support RAW from the FZ2000. It does support JPEG. To import the RAW files you need to trick LR into thinking the RAW comes from the FZ1000 by changing the exif data (camera name) using an exif editor. This works until
      LR add the camera. Hope that helps.

      Daniel Harvard convert the raw files to dng files. download the dng software from Adobe. Dng files will retain the full RAW resolution.

      Jon Bryant As I am deciding on a camera or camcorder to purchase for vacations. I would be taking more video than stills. Just wondered how the AF in video is for this camera?

    • @JonBryantPhotography
      @JonBryantPhotography  7 лет назад

      Hi Ba Bu, the FZ2000 is loaned to me from Panasonic, and this was my first photographic shoot with it. I haven't used it a lot in video mode yet. The AF works well from what I can see.
