    That video looked great. I was looking for some example shots that were shot on the Panasonic FZ2500 - excellent job !

    I have similar FZ2500 setup. Mine FZ1000 is mounted in a cage with shoulder mount and handle bars that was ordered custom to my line of work. I also used the sennheiser wireless equipment and the SR AZ-100 2 channel audio adapter but it never worked right with my FZ1000. I now have the FZ2500 and use just the DMW-MS2 shotgun for audio and it works great. I also use a viewfinder from Kamerar that I custom fitted to my FZ2500 . I love using it and will never go back to the camera viewfinder. I also got rid of my tripod because I couldn't pan without tripping on the legs as I film a lot of events. So I purchased a Benro S4 and can pan any way I want. Thanks for sharing.

      can you tell what model of Kamerar view finder you bought or what you made to fit? Thanks

    Hi the 5-Axis compensation (Optical image stabiliser) works in video recording except for 4K video, variable frame rate video or dolly zoom video recording, I used a tripod/mono pod for all my shots.

    I have looked long and hard about the V-Log upgrade and think it's a poor show on Panasonic that it's not included it in the price, as I'm sure the GH5 will include this profile, however moving from the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera where you had no option but to grade the image, this camera is a joy to use and to get broadcast quality images at 4K straight out this camera has to be commended, It's by far the easiest I've used in years and love it to bit's.

    This camera looks like it will be even better than the FZ1000 - and that was a hard act to follow. It is strange that Panasonic did not allow 200mb/s for 4K, it is only for HD. 4K is limited to 100mb/s. Maybe a firmware update in future will give 200mb/s for 4K and C4K.

    I noticed some micro jitters when you zoomed in with those ducks. Can the in-camera image stabilization fix this? Or is your stabilization turned on during this recording?

    • @innerscape
      @innerscape  7 лет назад

      I'm glad you noticed.. The stabilizer doesn't work with 4K content, the shot was taken using a monopod at that time and proves a point that you will need to treat this lens with respect at the long end and use a very good tripod. in conventional terms you wouldn't attempt this shot with a 500mm lens and a shutter speed of 50. Even with a tripod, shooting at the long end and hitting the record button gives a bit of jitter....

    Thank you, a very good video. Did you use always a tripod or are there freehand shots with stabilizer?I have made my first shots today by cloudy weather and there is a lot of noise in the videos. I used the stabilizer and there is mostly a very frequent jitter in the videoshots. The live cropping shows also jitter.With my GX80, there is no noise and a perfectly stabilizer!

    Can you tell me what model# is the view finder please? There are a lot of Zacuto Z-Finder models.

    • @innerscape
      @innerscape  5 лет назад

      The Panasonic GH3/4 model works well ($395.00) however I saved some money by getting the Z-Finder jr ($95.00) and the GH3 Z-Finder frame kit ($129) all available direct from Zacuto.

    Hi. I have one question. I have little problem with my FZ2000. I use very often a button "AE lock", but I think that this button doesn’t work properly in this camera. I think that because, when I push this button AE then it is lock and should be lock till I push again button AE lock. Yes? No it isn’t true and here is my problem, because when I use , for example, ZOOM LEVER or ZOOM RING, "AE lock" is gone. Can you check it in your camera whether you have the same problem ? What we can do with this matter. I think that is a mistake in firmware? What do you think about it?

    • @innerscape
      @innerscape  7 лет назад

      This is useful when you want to take a picture of a subject outside the AF area or the contrast is too strong and you cannot achieve appropriate exposure.
      1 Align the screen with the subject.
      2 Press and hold [AF/AELOCK] to fix the focus or exposure. (Do not let go)
      • If you release [AF/AE LOCK], AF/AE Lock is cancelled. • Only the exposure is locked in the default setting.
      3 While pressing [AF/AELOCK],move the camera as you compose the picture and then press shutter button fully.

    Great Video! Does the 5 axis stablilization work at UHD? Also what speed SD card did you use for these shots?

    • @innerscape
      @innerscape  7 лет назад

      Hi, the stabiliser only works in photo mode and HD video only... bit of a shame but if you're serious about your film making you would turn this function off anyway...
      As for SD cards, i'm using SanDisk Extreme PRO 94mbs SDXC 1 U3 Class 10... The new V30 cards are a bit better... A 64gb card will give you 1h 20mins of C4K @ 100mps, not bad at all..

    • @gordiebryce8247
      @gordiebryce8247 7 лет назад

      innerscape thanks! That is a shame about the stabilisation. I am assuming you do still get image stabilisation with 4K just not as good? I am looking into getting a steadicam in the future.

    • @danielharvard7688
      @danielharvard7688 7 лет назад +3

      Yes, just as with the FZ1000, there is stabilisation available in 4K, it's just that it's not 5-axis. It is still very good, though. I have only just taken delivery of the FZ2000 and seeing these shots makes me feel I have made the right decision. The Cinema 4K looks fantastic. What shutter speed did you use to go with the 24p?

    • @innerscape
      @innerscape  7 лет назад

      The shutter was set at 50, the shutter must always be set at twice the frame rate.. or 180 deg

    • @danielharvard7688
      @danielharvard7688 7 лет назад

      I agree. It is a pity (unless I have missed something) that you cannot lock the shutter speed to a particular value, such as 1/50 for video. The ND filters are going to be so useful. On the FZ1000 I purchased a set of screw on NDs but it was always a pain having to swap them about depending on conditions. I assume you used the built in NDs on some of the sunny shots in your video. How did you find them?

    I've FZ1000 and very interested in FZ2500 too, yet some reviews report the lens in FZ2500 was much softer than FZ1000 and RX10 III, Is that true?any comment on that?

    • @innerscape
      @innerscape  7 лет назад +1

      I can't comment on the other cameras as I have never used them, however the images this camera produces are stunning and I'm very pleased with it. Take a look at Graham Houghton's review here. ruclips.net/video/wCcFixyTwDQ/видео.html

    Hi, can you tell me when the iris start to change from 2.8 when zooming?

    • @innerscape
      @innerscape  7 лет назад +1

      f2.8 is only at the wide end (24mm) and increases in small increments until the lens reaches 266mm and then it's f4.5 all the way up to 480mm.

    • @nemethmik
      @nemethmik 7 лет назад

      Because of the insane 36mm crop in 4K, we have an f2.8 lens at 36mm FoV. :-)

  • @sangmojo
    @sangmojo 7 лет назад

    so what do you think about this camera? may be a conclusion. What do you prefer fz2000 than g80?.

    • @innerscape
      @innerscape  7 лет назад +2

      After shooting with the BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Camera this is a joy to work with, the form factor is perfect for what I shoot.. The only negative is that the stabilisation only works for photos and 1080HD recordings not 4K, so you really have use very good tripod to get stable images at the long end.
      On the whole the images are of broadcast quality but only when you treat this camera as you would a professional camera.
      The big deal for me is the ability to shoot 4:2:2 10bit to an external recorder, I plan to get the V-Log-L upgrade and get myself the Atomos Ninja Flame recorder, this has the ability to recored native 4K HDR (High Dynamic Range) and playback directly to your 4k HDR TV, can't wait for that...
      As for the G80, I don't know.

    • @innerscape
      @innerscape  7 лет назад +1

      Hi Miklos, here in the UK if you are producing content for the BBC the minimum acceptable bit rate is 50mb in HD for broadcasting, this camera is capable of 200mb in HD All I mode and delivers 100mb in 4K well within broadcast quality.
