Thanks for the feedback. I'll be trying out V-Log-L on my FZ2000 next week. Will be interesting to see how well that matches up to CineLikeD, after post.
Is there a crop in 4K DCI? People say that there is no crop, because info on the screen shows focal range 25-500. However one of the reviewers wrote that in fact there is a crop and the indications on the screen are a bug. Could you confirm that?
Yes it does have a crop factor of 2.73. Crop factor multiplier is calculated by dividing the diagonal of 35mm film (43.27mm) with the diagonal of the sensor. Panasonic FZ2000/2500 crop factor: Sensor diagonal is 15.86mm. So 43.27 divided by 15.86 = 2.73
You didn't understand me. Of course I know the crop factor of the sensor itself. However FZ2000 doesn't use the whole sensor while recording 4K UHD 25/30p. It does a 1.5 crop (so the crop factor while recording 4K is 2.7 x 1.5 = ~4 and the equivalent focal lenghts change from 24-480 to 36-720). In the Cine 4K DCI 24p mode it shows the range of 25-500, which would suggest there is almost no crop (FROM THE 1-INCH SENSOR), but today one reviewer (Video Gizmology) told me that is just a bug, because it still crops the sensor. If you could, just check if in 4K 4096x2160 24p the recorded widest angle is like in 1080p (where there is no crop) or like in 4K UHD (where there is 1.5 sensor crop).
Footage looked great.
Looks like a great camera for film making. I cant decide between this or the Sony RX10 series
What is this music?
Hi loving you video very nice. Please can you help me find the cine settings as i cant seem to find them im new to Panasonic
Is the detail as good as the previous FZ1000? Anyone done a side by side test. I sold my FZ1000 to get the 2000. What do people think?
Beautiful footage! Is this straight out of the camera?
The picture style was CineLikeD untouched with some small adjustments to colour correction in Final Cut Pro X

There is a crop, I'll post a clip soon.
