Aubergine House Update

The aubergine house is home to loads of plants at present from the majestic Perilla Shiso to the numerous aubergine plants, the kiwi fruit, kiwi berry and wasabi. ..... oh and the Brads Atomic Grape tomatoes, growing into a mish mash of leaves and stems, needing a prune really soon.

Kiwis seem quite the divas every one that grows them says they get no fruit. 😂😂 oh good a creosote flavoured dish for dinner. That moss is why I am taking out the beds in the brassica cage it held too much water in that corner. But every thing looks good and hopefully you get some aubergine aka egg plant soon. @myrustygarden cheers Ali. The moisture in that area is good for the Wasabi, at least I think so, lol. The kiwi fruit take a few years to establish, can take up to 8 years I think to get fruit. I gave a couple of white eggplants growing, they always do quite well. My weekend is spoiled by a day at work but oh well.

Hey Chuck! Would that be Jess at plot 37? Aubergine house is looking good mine have been late fruiting and the slugs have eaten a hole through some but I harvested my first whole one today yaay. How many varieties did you grow? I want to grow Brads atomic grape next year lots recommend this apparently shabby tomato x.

@Lynne-plot35b-36b yep, Jessie's fox problems are way worse than mine. I grew about 8 varieties, I have some white ones already. Brads is gorgeous to look at and taste and yes, it is the shabbiest tomato by far!

Yes it must be heart breaking for her to have such an immense problem with foxes this year. There have been enough problems this year without this. Hope her new bad cover ideas do the trick xx
