Laughing and Talking with Iranian Youth

  • I noticed a group of young people and got one of our translators to help facilitate a dialog. Though we didn't understand most of what the other was saying, we all felt connected to each other through the laughter. This is the extended cut from a shorter clip that I took from the end with their message of oneness. I did later get a better translation from some of my Iranian viewers about what was being said.

    I am from Iran and i must tell u that not only these guys but also most iranians want to be friend with the other in the world . Iranians love foreigners all the time .

      That is really good to know, my friend. I think both our governments are going to have to work better with eachother on some things. Every video I have seen with the Iranian people has been good. They've always been very welcoming and friendly. I know that there are others though that dislike the west.. I hope more positive thoughts spreads and helps others work on getting to know one another for a more better future.

      +Courts Griner ...see friend...only thing we saw from Western culture was bad things indead... like Swinger clubs, places for do immoralities...and totally per thing we saw of western culture and countries was colonialism and more war in middle east but in whole the world!!!
      We are disagreed for these...
      Our sipreme leader 3 times sent to western youths letters... our supreme leader is disagreed about that ur devil authorities ..not the people!

      @dave johnson oh wait , Dave Johansson in Iran , oh wow , looks like jihadis come in various faces these days , depends on who you are at least we worship something that is usefull to us in day to day life , like cows , they give milk, also Europe have several time higher rate of crime than us so you don't get to question that, we worship nature , not like you who worship idiots born in desert who were thief's and raiders , that explains why abrahamic religion are so intolerant and fascist.

      ***** Thanks! I want to know is what foreign countries are Iranians mainly fascinated with? What is the main source of entertainment? I know football is very popular there, but how popular among the common person?

    • @reza4975
      @reza4975 9 лет назад

      Iran-Japan-Africa-America
      There is a low coverage on this topic, almost none; however, it's fascinating once you experience the lifestyle in Iran. One is able to take part in any activity that's available in countries such as the Uk, or the USA. In addition to that all that, many other activities that are soley cultural. The night life in Iran is also very fascinating, i.e. one can go shopping for a new t-shirt at 1 AM. It's also very common for families to go out and have a picnic at 12-3 AM, the country is very family-friendly, and the enviroment is perfect for that.
      The main source of entertainment (In terms of popularity) would have to be the t.v, through a satelite one can acess any channel station around the world, meaning channels in the uk, usa, germany, ect.
      Football is very common, to the point where almost everyone has at one point in their life showed interest in it. However, football is not the only source of sport entertainment. There is a high interest in volleyball, basketball, wrestling, and baseball (other than baseball Iran's quite skilled at playing competively).
      If I may ask, where are you from?

    • @homokharcos8966
      @homokharcos8966 9 лет назад +2

      ***** Tehran looks like it has a pretty good night life. I know there are even burger joints and pizzerias there, and I heard they put ketchup on their pizza. For me, Esfahan looks like the nicest city. The architecture is beautiful and it looks very nice. Shiraz also is a fascinating city.
      I don't many Iranian shows, but I do know Kolah Ghermezi, the puppet show.
      I really like the footballing culture in Iran. They pour out into the streets when they qualify and I really like it when they make the World Cup. Baseball being popular there is a surprise. I know an Iranian wrestler who went to WWE (although he is often incorrectly portrayed as an Arab).
      I was originally born in Michigan, USA, but I now live in Canada. I am dual American-Canadian.
      Where in Iran are you from?

    While governments bicker with each other, meetings like this show what the PEOPLE of these countries truly think about each other. No countries people want war. I have nothing against any Iranian, Afghan, Iraqi, Sudanese, North Korean or anyone else. It's the governments who go to war with each other and have the people suffer for it. It's really sad.

    I believe there should be a fair representation of Persians here also, but I do so dislike the way their government treats the people. I would also like to visit Iran and meet people like these, but I worry too much about the "Maag barg Amrica" people.
