Laughing and Talking with Iranian Youth

- I noticed a group of young people and got one of our translators to help facilitate a dialog. Though we didn't understand most of what the other was saying, we all felt connected to each other through the laughter. This is the extended cut from a shorter clip that I took from the end with their message of oneness. I did later get a better translation from some of my Iranian viewers about what was being said.
I am from Iran and i must tell u that not only these guys but also most iranians want to be friend with the other in the world . Iranians love foreigners all the time .
That is really good to know, my friend. I think both our governments are going to have to work better with eachother on some things. Every video I have seen with the Iranian people has been good. They've always been very welcoming and friendly. I know that there are others though that dislike the west.. I hope more positive thoughts spreads and helps others work on getting to know one another for a more better future.
We have cultural similaties brother you & us.
+Courts Griner ...see friend...only thing we saw from Western culture was bad things indead... like Swinger clubs, places for do immoralities...and totally per thing we saw of western culture and countries was colonialism and more war in middle east but in whole the world!!!
We are disagreed for these...
Our sipreme leader 3 times sent to western youths letters... our supreme leader is disagreed about that ur devil authorities ..not the people!
@dave johnson oh wait , Dave Johansson in Iran , oh wow , looks like jihadis come in various faces these days , depends on who you are at least we worship something that is usefull to us in day to day life , like cows , they give milk, also Europe have several time higher rate of crime than us so you don't get to question that, we worship nature , not like you who worship idiots born in desert who were thief's and raiders , that explains why abrahamic religion are so intolerant and fascist.
And surprised to see an Iranian named Dave - lol🤣🤣🤣
I honestly love Iranians and Persians! Must say that they seem pretty cool and honestly wish I knew some more.
Iran-Japan-Africa-America Ask, dear. I'll give up as much of my time needed to explain to you briefly or comprehensive any topic, discussion, or question which you desire to know.
***** Thanks! I want to know is what foreign countries are Iranians mainly fascinated with? What is the main source of entertainment? I know football is very popular there, but how popular among the common person?
Iran-Japan-Africa-America
There is a low coverage on this topic, almost none; however, it's fascinating once you experience the lifestyle in Iran. One is able to take part in any activity that's available in countries such as the Uk, or the USA. In addition to that all that, many other activities that are soley cultural. The night life in Iran is also very fascinating, i.e. one can go shopping for a new t-shirt at 1 AM. It's also very common for families to go out and have a picnic at 12-3 AM, the country is very family-friendly, and the enviroment is perfect for that.
The main source of entertainment (In terms of popularity) would have to be the t.v, through a satelite one can acess any channel station around the world, meaning channels in the uk, usa, germany, ect.
Football is very common, to the point where almost everyone has at one point in their life showed interest in it. However, football is not the only source of sport entertainment. There is a high interest in volleyball, basketball, wrestling, and baseball (other than baseball Iran's quite skilled at playing competively).
If I may ask, where are you from?
***** Tehran looks like it has a pretty good night life. I know there are even burger joints and pizzerias there, and I heard they put ketchup on their pizza. For me, Esfahan looks like the nicest city. The architecture is beautiful and it looks very nice. Shiraz also is a fascinating city.
I don't many Iranian shows, but I do know Kolah Ghermezi, the puppet show.
I really like the footballing culture in Iran. They pour out into the streets when they qualify and I really like it when they make the World Cup. Baseball being popular there is a surprise. I know an Iranian wrestler who went to WWE (although he is often incorrectly portrayed as an Arab).
I was originally born in Michigan, USA, but I now live in Canada. I am dual American-Canadian.
Where in Iran are you from?
Religion has enslaved these great people. One day they will rise up and beat the crap out of those bearded old slave owners.
nice iranian people i missed you guys in here.i'd like to come back
im part persian and am so proud of my culture

I love the reactions to this video. All of the Persians I've met would probably go along with it.

We Iranian usually talk all together and won’t give enough chance of talking to others. Very interesting nation. I am the worst. Love Iran.

long live Iran and its people! So sad to see how the western media have no idea of reality! cheers from Mexico!
asheghe bachehaye iraniiiiii...ba hameye in sakhtia va moshkelat hanooz shad o khandan!!
:)
While governments bicker with each other, meetings like this show what the PEOPLE of these countries truly think about each other. No countries people want war. I have nothing against any Iranian, Afghan, Iraqi, Sudanese, North Korean or anyone else. It's the governments who go to war with each other and have the people suffer for it. It's really sad.
wow that was awesome I missed Iran I wana go back and visit. I am in the USA Since 1996 I was 12 when I left Iran! I understood all of the conversation from both sides that was awesome:)
They seem like fun people to be around.
i really like how you guys made these videos about the REAL Iran instead of the bad things we hear and see on the news
oh my god amam hosayn i love this conversation
i have been in AFQANESTAN
I liked that part of making the entire world as a single country with no border. That girl who was interested to go to US was very funny. Hossein was funny, too. I hope nobody write political comments about this video.
In video darbareye Iran khub ast.😃
This video about Iran is good.😃

2 words:world peace!
tanx for posting this vid...nicee :]
I'm a Caucasian from Los Angeles, but I'd love to go to Iran and eat everything I see! My mother owned a Persian restaurant "Shemrun" during the 1980s and I miss the food there. But I go to Persian restaurants frequently too :)
Kebobs, dolmeh, Ghormeh sabzi!
This is the way to explore how Iranian youngsters are thinking. Ahmadi Nejhad is all you hear about, through the media which is a very bias way of introducing the Iranian culture to people. Its an excellent way to actually hear youngster's opinion directly.
Many Thanks For sharing the video :)
hey thanks for the videos:) i miss iran so much...

Dude, this was a really nice video..They seem really cool! Glad ya'll got a chance to laugh and answer some questions a bond. Hope things can improve in the future. :o)

This is the way to explore how Iranian youngesters are thinking. Ahmadi Nejhad is all you hear about, through the media which is a very bias way of intorducing the Iranian culture to people. Its an excellent to actually hear youngesters opinion directly.

these ppl are BSing!! they are soooooooo imature!!!
Seem like nice people, Im around the same age as the people they were interveiwing, I wonder how it would be like if I grew up in Iran and experienced the life that my Hamsharis experienced. The girl all the way on the right wants to get married, get a visa and come to the US.
Holy shit that guy does laugh like Shrek. LMAO
I love that pink scarf girl...she is funny...
great clip. interesting
great video... thanks
it was so funny , i never saw a funny reality show in my life.
The translation says;
Iranian are so funny. I laughed a lot. I want to go to Iran, if just
Ahmadinejad has not destroy the country yet.
People find him weird he said he is 28 and he say too young to get married ...
I agree , the translator was not doing a good job , she was not able to convey their message , translating is not just changing the words
The amount of attitude from the comments on this video is to me astounding. Why are people so arrogant?
Khah Bar Sare Vatan Foroshetoon -
LOL Thanks for posting this video
I am Turk Turkey-İran broters...
Poor Iranian especially the young crowed...they are full of life, love experiencing new things....just too bad that we do not have many option in Iran and have to follow the law and tradition....

@peacedragon12 translation was right he is joking.it was good effort by you i really enjoyed it.
That one girl in pink scarf is funny shit.
Iranian humour is the best =)
Nice video, but Americans should already know before watching a video like this that Iranians are good people too!
H A A H A H A H A HA this is soooo funny!
lOOOl ey vAL kheili bahaal bood
People have the right to be curious about other countries, especially a country like US from an Iranian viewpoint. IT does not mean that she will marry a 85 y/o fart from US.
Khak to saretoon ahmagha!
dude that was very fun
SWEET
lol nice ppl.
did you get your translation? If not, I'll give it a go. Also if you have any other video's etc I'll be happy to try. :D

COOL =D
got absolute loving for this video.... persian forevz 2k11 ;)
Oh...OK. We Americans don't call them discos (we had ourselves a little bit of a revolution ourselves in the early 80s: the death of disco. lol). We call them clubs. But isn't there beaches along the Caspian and the Arabian Seas?
oh my god i luv itttttttt :)))) too sik man
Iranian people are just that. People. It's not exactly outlandish to assume that they have a fun, personal life outside of religion.
zane rid ba in tarjome kardanesh , ama dametoon garm bache haaa, kashki mishood shooma ham inja boodin ba ham hame hall mikardim
I wish one day we remove borders.
I listened right to the end of the movie, and we didn't learn if you married the young lady or not. So, did you?

@sohrabrabrab well, it is stereotyping among Iranian that always blame each other for many reasons, perhaps, Iranian despise others to get good impression to do so, Iran will never change, while people change, try to get better attitude. that's her second language as mine! what would you expect??
faghat aberooye iran ro nabarid, bebinid chi migid,az tarafe melat ham harf nazanid

I don't know why everyone calling Iranians Persians...Persians form majority in Iran but not a clear majority there are lot of other ethical groups living in Iran like Azeris, baluch etc...these people seems Azeris to me.
cool boy because it was called Persia??? And we are Persians lord
cool boy and no one can be a Iranian Azeris look it up
Why do they keep asking him if he's single?
Cherrypicked? What, you think there'd be better relations if they picked one of the pasdar?
Could you perhaps provide me with the whole correct translation of what he said then. I want to quote it for a book I am writing. Thanks
freedom has nothing to do with nudity or sex. Correct your dictionary
freedom means free from the animality, sex..nudity..aggressive...so we have freedom more than Trump😁...but our problem is American dollars...today its 7000 tomans...😂😂Never mind...we are people of hard days!!😃

@iDanMan94 Thank you. Please spread the world because people seem to think the people suck, when the people themselves hate the government. ughh.

I believe there should be a fair representation of Persians here also, but I do so dislike the way their government treats the people. I would also like to visit Iran and meet people like these, but I worry too much about the "Maag barg Amrica" people.
