I've never had to take my apart, or had issues and I've had it for 9 years now. I always ran cleaner through it and back flowed it as well. It came in a nice hard plastic case, with all the instructions, but this video is way more justice then trying to read the fine print in taking it apart. Thank you, Badger for an easy to use all around dual action airbrush for novices and pros that is extremely easy to clean and take apart as well.
No one appears to ever show or explain close ups of the connections. They are confusing. I have a new Revell compressor with an adapter. Seems small both ends. The hose fits the compressor using the adapter but the other end of the hose doesn't fit the airbrush and the hose end is to small. So what adapter would be needed?
i have an Anthem 155, the needle bearing is damaged and it wont function properly( my fault, cleaning with a sharp paperclip). at first i thought it was the nozzle, so i went and purchased the nozzle replacement kit with a new needle and still nothing. now i have these parts that were fairly expensive and i dont want to just throw them away. i was thinking of having the bearing replaced but do you know if there's any other top feed ones that will be able to use the anthem parts? Thanks!
The paint will not come though the gun just the air when I press down does this gun model "155" only work for huge air compressor psi levels because I'm using just a badger 80-3N please help.......
that was amazing! thank you so much. i was cursing this airbrush because it came with no information, but now i feel much more knowledgable and in control of my tool. :)
This is the airbrush that I have along with a cheapo HF one. I use the Badger 155 Anthem for acrylic based paints and the cheapo HF one for lacquer paints. I think the Badger 155 Anthem is the best design of airbrush. You can use the bottle or a colour cup for smaller jobs. I like that you don't need any tools to disassemble or reassemble the airbrush. All fittings except to the compressor are hand tightened. My favorite airbrush. I found out that the back rocker and trigger from my Anthem will fit my cheapo HF airbrush. When you put the front end back on you should use some chap stick on the threads to stop air leaks around the threads. Or you can use bee's wax but chap stick is cheaper and works just as well.

Great video. It's been years since I was able to get to use my airbrush and this allowed me to clean it thoroughly after pulling it out of storage.
