Trigger pad/heighten-er = good idea. Using a Teflon tape to stop a perceived .01 PSI pressure/airflow loss = bad idea-waste of time. Pulling the needle - most of the time DIRTY, backward-through the needle seal = BAD IDEA.... Nothing like a paint crusted needle being pulled back - pi$$ing off the needle seal and then leaking.... Get smart - Dirty needle out the FRONT - Clean needle in from the rear.... Too easy to save the seal....

Is this badgers main youtube channel? I have been incontact with your customer services via the normal email and the yahoo mail you are using because of server problems because the milling on the replacement bodies is very bad, on all the examples by the local badger dealer. Its been over a month an there has been no meaningful reply from badger except "we will forward the email to ken" so a badger have acknowledged that they have had the email. Please can you help with rectifying the problem and my low quality new velocity body needs replacing!

Consiglio: Tutti lo sfilano da dietro l'ago con il pericolo di sporcare la parte posteriore, visto che ha lo stesso diametro e poi infilano da dietro, con il rischio di piegarlo, perché non fate all'incontrario e vi evitate un sacco di problemi?. Non è un Badger Sotar 20/20 con parte in plastica dell'ago posteriore, che si puo' modificare e toglierlo e il problema è risolto anche li.

Il primo aerografo a doppia azione comprato 34 anni fa’ in negozio belle Arti in Italia ma non marchiato Badger ma Vivaz, ma mi sono divertito a verniciare e imparato a togliermi la paura nello smontare, pulirlo e rimontare il tutto. Il prossimo saranno 2 della Badger , il Renegade RK-1 Krome e il Sotar 20/20, i migliori della Badger secondo il mio parere da modellista da 50 anni, buon modellismo a tutti.

Vedo tutti o quasi che infilate l’ago da dietro, con il rischio di piegare e rovinare la punta, quando è semplice infilarlo da davanti prima di mettere la duse e non si rompe niente, come togliere l’ago sporco da dietro e si sporca e rovina l’O-ring interna alla lunga. Io lo faccio alla mia maniera da 34 anni e aghi rotti e piegati in punta di n.12 aerografi che ho usato mai piegato niente, provate e non guardate chi ha lo sponsor o altro, è un consiglio da modellista da 50 anni, senza polemica ma con buon senso e non soldi da buttar via, magari mi compro degli aerografi nuovi come il Badger RK-1 Renegade Krome e il Sotar 20/20, che a vedersi sono i migliori della Badger. Un saluto e buon lavoro a tutti.

This is one amazing airbrush. Very forgiving and easy to clean and disassemble. My Patriot does 95% of my work and the other 3 airbrushes are a Sparmax, Sotar 20/20 and a Harder Steinbeck Infinity !

I have a Badger 155-1 Anthem double action and my trusty 200 single action and the 350 single action. Use and love them all!

Great video, thank you. I run the adjusting nut right up to the rear of the body. Then set the needle. This prevents running the needle too far into the tip. I’ve had this airbrush for over 30 years, it’s a tank!

I have been using mine for a bit over 22 years. Paint flow problems are usually an indication of a dirty nozzle. A good cleaning generally takes care of the problems.

Get a spring cheap from a cheap clicky ball point pen.

Great tips. I had to search to come back and find this vid.. I didn't even realize that most of my control problem was with the grip on the button or trigger. I put a small wedge of foam on my trigger and it was the best thing I ever did. I used to have a factory rubber cover thing that went on the button but it was hard and cup shaped and not comfortable. A little dome of foam makes the trigger roll with the direction of the arc of the trigger under your finger. I found this to be a great help.

Thanks for the video. Was very worried when I received the airbrush with no real instructions. But this was clear, concise, and very easy to follow. Great job.

Interesting video. I found many sources suggesting to replace the spring for pressing down (the air), but not pulling back (the paint). Also saw the opposite on the trigger... people shortening the trigger, not making it taller. Lookup Dru Blair... many airbrush/art stores sell the custom spring and trigger its so popular. I'm new to airbrushing, so I am just experimenting and don't believe in modifying anything permanent until I am actually experienced. Swapping a spring is reversible, so I will replace the air spring just to try it because I already notice I have to press harder than I like. Will likely try finding an alternate spring or just cutting one like you show for the paint spring too... since getting a replacement is cheap and easy. Won't cut the back off because I removed/unscrewed mine and don't miss it when I do. Since I'm new, I'm not pulling the needle out often anyway. Lastly: Wish you would have shown where you use oil. Been told, lube the needle but not where it touches paint. Again thanks for posting, just gives me confidence to experiment.
