I have the same car and only get 26 mpg on town driving regularly. I have tried everything except spark plugs, fuel filter and ecu reset which is going to cost a bomb. Car has only done 36k. Mass airflow sensor, air filter, tyres, brake binding and engine oil all checked or replaced but still the same 26 mpg. Couple of other things is the fan comes on straight away at start up and then comes on and off way too often and a full tank of fuel registers only 260 miles to empty on the display which i think is very low so i need to look into this also. Any tips for a fix from anyone appreciated. This is driving me insane.
@@yusufozek2949 Still same. On dual carriage way its does 31-33 mpg. Town driving is still 26-27 mpg. Smooth quite and reliablw engine but drinks too much fuel for local/town driving.
@@khalilkh7389 If you want to go a bit faster while in D drive, move gear selector down to S (sport mode). When happy with speed, move selector up to D drive. You can also use minus paddle shift selector behind steering wheel to drop down a gear. I am preparing to sell my car as need electric car now.
My Honda Jazz, 2018 gets 56 mpg highway and 54 round town. It is cheapest chips from the UK.
Impossible to get those figures. I struggle to get to 21mpg in urban driving.

Total BS. I own a 2010 lx1.4 auto. Great car, poor fuel consumption in urban driving. Struggle to get 9km/l. Extra urban 14km/l plus
