Thankyou Sir , I spent over an hour trying to find some that knew what they were doing , I changed out an electric fuel pump on a not running ezgo , the previous owner worked on it and messed it up, so I put the oem fuel pump but wasn’t sure which line hooked up , and I thought just what you said which would’ve been wrong , again thanks for your video , Wishing you a Blessed Day
Wish I would of seen this video before sending it to the Shop 😭 I have the same one that was doing the same thing. Thanks for posting this video really needed to see it.
I have a 84 model and i can't figure out the wiring diagram on it the previous owner jumped everything and im trying to wire it back how it's supposed to be
We've got an 87 and can't get the carburetor out without taking it apart, unless you have a suggestion. Was hoping that part was included in your video but it wasn't.
Oil injection has had its issues especially off-road use. They get clogged sometimes starving the gas of oil causing burnt pistons and whatnot. Mix your own was the way of the wise 20 yrs ago anyway.
Hey Derek, I just bought an 88 model. Im hearing this particular year is kind of a one-off. I have a question for you. This thing was really sluggish and woldnt hardly pull itself. I took it to a shop and had them clean out the fuel system and put a new carb on it. (I know nothing at all about 2 strokes) It runs a lot better now, but there is a horrible hesitation, or delay I guess, when i push the has pedal down. some times it can take 5 seconds or longer for the cart to actually take off. And when Im driving it, if I let off of the pedal completely, then push it down again it does the same thing. Do you have any ideas??? I was thinking possibly the drive belt? But Im not sure Thanks
@@jthompson5059 I'm fairly new to this as well. Could've put a cheap Chinese carb on and it needs some adjusting or not getting fuel as much as it should. Maybe a fuel pump. Struggling myself, hope to know more in a couple days.

Easiest way to get the fuel from tank to the pump is to lightly pressurize the gas tank with an air hose.
Can you tell/show me where the part was by the fuel pump and carb that was still gunky? I'm not pulling fuel and i feel like it's gross in there.

Can’t wait for the Ls swap, powerglide, turbo videos for the golf cart.
😂 that would be epic!

Definitely makes since! Apparently they use to do this on the old rotory cars as well.
Dang! Needs some lights on that thing! Lol
How you change shaft bearing in motor for this year of cart
Damn crazy neighbors driving around in the dark and 30 degrees out. LMAO 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
😂😂😂
Congrats!
Now which stand alone system and turbo is going on it?!!! ...after the headlight/s of course!
Going to need to put some Fuel Tech on this thing😂
Got one like it. How did you get the belts off? Dont say cut them.
Not sure lol haven’t replaced mine yet 😂
What year is that
What did you do to stop it from back firing! I have an 88 that backfires too.

The throttle cable wasn’t adjusted correctly and it was holding it open slightly. Adjusted and had been great!
I just got one of these but can’t find the spark plug
If you follow the spark plug wire from the coil down to the engine you should be able to find it pretty easy
It's right beside the mounts for the muffler
Maybe someone removed the spark plug. There is a hole in the center of the engine just next to the muffler.
heck yeah i got to see clyde lol
😂 man I love that dang thing I had a blast just pulling it out of the garage to run the golf cart lol
@@BuildTuneRace i love it too someday i hope to have one like it
You start with the fuel pump then the carb then the spark plug and if all of those are working then it should start
Fuel pump not pulling gas from tank. Can the crank case not put out enough air pressure to pump the fuel pump ? Need help
