How to create a EPI INFO SYNC file for IOS/IPhone

Anytime you collect data with epi info mobile and you want to do robust data analysis
You will need to transfer the data to epi info PC for better access to more data analysis options
To do this, you will need to create a sync file that allows you to move the data you have collected from epi info mobile to Epi Info PC
This is how to create a sync file using epi info companion for android
in the epi info mobile app,
Select collect data,
Then select and load the form that has the data you want to sync
Then click on the ellipsis buddon at the top right corner of the screen and select “create sync file”
set a password for an extra level of data security
And that’s it
Easy peasy
You can locate this sync file,
In the internal storage, the downloads folder and the epi info folder, and then open the sync file folder
Here you will see your sync file and you can transfer it to your compuder for analysis
And you are good to go

It is important you use a secure file transfer service such as Dropbox, Google Drive, and Box. These services use encryption to protect your data while it is in transit and at rest.
• Back up your sync files regularly.
make sure you create a backup of your sync files so you don’t miss any important data in case of loss or theft of your device
