Thanks. Transferring the form to a mobile device is far better than collecting the data into Epiifo PC and copying it to a mobile device.
Great feedback Emmanuel. The workflow is to simply create the questionnaire on the PC, then transfer to the mobile for data collection, do small analysis on the mobile. For more advanced analysis, transfer the data to PC . I hope this helps
Another nice one. Very easy to follow
Nagode sir✌
I prefer the second method as it provides all relevant requirements

Great video sir. I prefer the second method and that's what i used. It wasn't difficult at all. But i noticed my questions were not as i arranged them on the epi info for PC. My question 1 came last and the first question appearing was 2.
I think you toggled on the switch to interchange the questions.
All your videos are life savers! Phew! Thank you sir for this wonderful explanation!
You are most welcome, Chief Oche🙌

Than you for simplifying and demystifying epi info.
I prefer the second method of transferring questionnaire to epi info mobile. Infact when I started using the first method I had to abort it after about 5minutes of waiting. It looks like the program has frozen.
I have a question:
Can I send this template for participants to fill and submit to me? Will I get to see the data entered by participants for me to analyze?
Awesome 👏
Thank you sir for the detailed explanation 🫡🙏🏾
Happy to help
Good day, Sir,

Good to hear!
I also prefer the second method, I am even having challenges with first one.
Great 👍
Thank you very much. Your presentation is very good and very helpful. I used Epi info years ago, it was a MS DOS version (Old times !!!) . First time I’m using this windows version.
I have a few questions:
1) How go back directly to the questionnaire form when you are in the Enter data form ?
2) My variable is : ##.##;
if I want to introduce 12.50, no problem. But if I introduce 7.20, I need to introduce 07.20, otherwise 72 will be recorded. Is there a way to change that ?
3) Is there a need to save the record at the end of the form ?
Thank you very much,
Hung
😍
Thanks Doc 😊
definitely the second method 😊
Yay! Thank you!
Thank you, prefer second option
You're welcome
👏
🤗
Interesting
🤗
I prefer the second method, it saves time
I agree with you Shukrah 🤗
I preferred the second method sir
Great one Kingsley 😃
second method is better. i have challenge with my form. While creating my form on PC, i dropped question 1 on the canvas, then went on to drop question 3 because they were of same field type. then i dropped number two, ad dragged to re-arrange them in the right other.
However, when i sent it to mobile, i realised the mobile version is in the order 1,3,2, instead of 1,2,3.
Is there a way to resolve this without aving to delete the form and start afresh?
Great question sir, I am glad you were able to use the tutorial well. The questions are arranged in the order in which you drop them on the canvas but in the backend there is a tab order. So just right click on the canvas and click “Tab” and then select “Show tab order” you will see the order in a small black box above each question. Just click on it to arrange the order or set a new order. You don’t need to start afresh. I hope this helps?
Thank you for this video. What if I am using an iPhone and I want to copy from my email. How do I go about it?
That’s super easy Beauty. Just send it to your mail and open it with the Epi info Mobile on the IPhone. Easy Peasy 😃
Thank you for always making things look so easy Sir. I do have a question; for Master dissertation here in Nigeria, which software is better for public health data analysis? SPSS, epi info or which?
Great question Young! Both software are good and will easily analyze your thesis. Remember Epi info is free while SPSS is paid. I hope this helps?
I preferred the template method, that's the one I'm using
Great stuff Faiza
Second method all the way!
Yes sir 🙌
Definitely the second option
Great choice 👍

great vedio sir🙏, kindly gauid about how can collected mobile data analys through PC ?
Great question Pradip. Watch this video on how to do data analysis using PC How to analyze data using Epi Info For PC.
ruclips.net/video/_HimV0kW4dM/видео.html
This video also shows How to Import Sync file into Epi Info for Windows PC. Easy Peasy
ruclips.net/user/shortsKMtNI7xzibw?feature=share
The second option is preferable
I agree
Thank you for this video.
After importing the xml file to the mobile version, I could perform all analysis but when I tried to calculate for the mean, median, variance etc, I didn't see any of my numerical variables especially the age
Great work Harrison! The reason you are not seeing any numeric variables is simply because you don’t have any. You must have initially created a text field for the age of respondents instead of a number field. So go back and check your template that you created and make sure that any numerical variable is entered with a number field. I hope this helps?
@@EpiInfoforRookiesE4R thank you sir, this was very helpful. Mistake corrected.
The second method is super easy
Easy Peasy
Well I find both methods ok but is there a third like what we have with ODK. where the data collector can download the files from the database. Cause am imagining if I have over 50 data collectors that are not that IT survy will have to go through either of the two processes for 50 devices.
Great question Marcel, yes you can use epi info cloud and web but it is quite complicated to set up for most people and it’s not free. I will be dropping a video on that soon God willing. I guess any survey requiring up to 50 data collectors should be ready to set up a real server and pay for such services. I hope this helps?
@@EpiInfoforRookiesE4R Thanks that will work out, was just inquiring if it was possible. Don't have such a project as yet.
Thanks for the prompt response.
